Abstract:
Statuary products are disclosed that memorialize human and animal life-forms with permanent structures made from the mixture of structural compositions and the cremated remains of the life-form. The products are provided in the embodiment of spirtual statues for human remains, and animal figures for the remains of pets represented by the respective figure.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to the field of permanent memorials for deceased beings, and the incorporation of a beings cremated remains in the structural embodiment of a spiritual or emblematic remembrance.
2. Description of the Related Art
It has been reported that forty-percent of Americans will choose cremation over burial. The preservation of cremated remains has been problematic, however, and traditionally relied upon the loving care of a spouse, descendent or other living relative.
The present invention provides an alternative to the current practices of burial; storing a loved-ones cremated remains in an urn, sea balls or diamonds; or, casting the remains into the wind or upon the sea.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAll living beings may be memorialized in a permanent structure according to the present invention. Humans may be memorialized in a statue having a spiritual significance, whereas pets may be memorialized in a full-size statuary replicating the animal, for example.
The present invention is practiced by integrating the cremated remains of the deceased being into the composition of the memorial structure by mixing the remains with the structural components of the composition.
The present invention overcomes the problems that are inherent in traditional methods of remembrance. Provided is a permanent structure in which the cremated remains become an integral part of the structure during the formation of the structure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTThe preferred embodiment of the present invention is statuary comprising cremated remains mixed with conventional structural components, such as bronze or concrete. Spiritual statue forms in bronze are preferred for the remains of humans, whereas the preferred statue form for a pet or other animal is a figure in concrete representing the deceased animal.
Statuary according to the present invention may be placed in a permanent or temporary setting, as desired. It may remain movable for relocation if the occasion arises that relocation becomes desirable. For example, moving to another city no longer need inherently to mean s separation from the earthly remains of a deceased loved-one.
Statuary according to the present invention may be made unobtrusive, and suitable as an addition to a memorial garden or cemetery. For example, the statuary may be placed in the proximity of the buried remains of a relative or, in the case of a pet statuary, it may be placed nearby the burial plot of the pet's owner. Also, the family home, both inside and out, is a suitable resting place for statuary containing the cremated remains of a family member or a family pet.
Claims
What is claimed is:1. A statuary product formed of a composition comprising structural components and the cremated remains of a deceased being.
2. The product of claim 1 wherein said statuary is a spiritual icon and said remains are human.
3. The product of claim 1 wherein said statuary is an animal figure and said remains are of an animal represented by said figure.
