The invention is a smooth laser cut steel plate that easily attaches to the heel of a boot or shoe. Two small screws enable attachment of plate through flanges, one on either side. While riding, a motorcyclist can place their heel lightly onto any smooth road surface to emit a shower of sparks. The device also helps protect the rider's heel against drag wear at starts and stops. This steel plate can easily be replaced or removed entirely from user's boots or shoes.

In relation to motorcycle footwear accessories, and in particular, concerning heel plate designs. We are unaware of any comparable patents to date.
A heel device according to the invention is designed to attach to the heel of a boot or shoe. The device consists of a generally flat steel base plate. Left and right flanges extend upward from this base plate. These flanges are pre-drilled for easy attachment, by use of two screws, which insert directly into the heel through said flanges.
FIG. 1 shows a heel device according to the invention, in a perspective view from the front and rear view.
FIG. 2 shows the heel device in perspective from its top view.
FIG. 3 shows the heel device in perspective from its side view.
The invention relates to motorcycle riding boots or shoes, and has two main functions.
It is an object of the invention to integrate a durable steel plate for engagement by the user for amusement purposes, as well as, extend life of motorcycle footwear (heel).
1. A heel plate of durable steel metal material attached in the position on user's boot/shoe where, when in use, comes in contact with road surfaces, comprising:
a generally flat base platform, laser-cut in a semi-circular fashion
means securing the steel plate to the shoe or boot comprises
left and right flanges extending upward from the base platform, these flanges are pre-drilled twice, vertically, to enable steel screws to be inserted, one on each side of the heel providing secure attachment.
