A yarn includes a core, and an outer protective covering attached onto an outer portion of the core and made of the environment protection plastic materials which may be decayed or decomposed naturally and which will not pollute our valuable environment. The core is made of a material selected from poly ethylene terephthalate, nylon, or metal. The outer protective covering is made of a material selected from poly urethane (PU), or poly ethylene (PE).

1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a yarn, and more particularly to a yarn including a protective outer covering which is made of environment protection materials that may be decayed or decomposed naturally and that will not pollute our valuable environment.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Typical yarns comprise one or more wires or threads wound or twisted or tangled together, and may then be woven into a fabric or cloth material or member.
For example, U.S. Pat. No. 2,477,652 to Robbins, II discloses one of the typical mixed yarns and fabrics comprising one or more nylon or cotton wires or threads wound or twisted or tangled together.
The nylon or cotton wires or threads are not waterproof, such that an additional outer coating is further required to be provided and attached or engaged onto the outer portion of the nylon or cotton wires or threads or filaments for protecting so made fabric or cloth material or member.
However, the outer coating is normally made of plastic or rubber materials, such as polyvinylchloride (PVC) which may not be decayed or decomposed naturally and which will pollute our valuable environment.
U.S. Pat. No. 3,482,389 to Shiro Kondo et al. discloses another typical fancy yarn comprising one or more rayon or cotton wires or threads or filaments wound or twisted or tangled together. The nylon or cotton wires or threads or filaments are also not waterproof, such that an additional outer coating is further required to be provided and attached or engaged onto the outer portion of the nylon or cotton wires or threads for protecting so made fabric or cloth material or member.
However, the outer coating is normally made of plastic or rubber materials, such as polyvinylchloride (PVC) which may not be decayed or decomposed naturally and which will pollute our valuable environment.
U.S. Pat. No. 4,383,403 to Nakayama et al. discloses a further typical multicolored yarn comprising one or more fibers or filaments wound or twisted or tangled together. An additional outer coating is further required to be provided and attached or engaged onto the outer portion of the nylon or cotton wires or threads for protecting so made fabric or cloth material or member.
However, the outer coating is normally made of plastic or rubber materials, such as polyvinylchloride (PVC) which may not be decayed or decomposed naturally and which will pollute our valuable environment.
U.S. Pat. No. 5,786,083 to Harris discloses a still further typical floor mat and yarn comprising one or more yarns and a commingled pair of fibers or filaments wound or twisted or tangled together.
The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional yarns.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a yarn made of environment protection materials that may be decayed or decomposed naturally and that will not pollute our valuable environment.
In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a yarn comprising a core, and an outer protective covering attached onto an outer portion of the core and made of the environment protection plastic materials.
The core may be made of a material selected from poly ethylene terephthalate, nylon, or metal.
The outer protective covering may be made of a material selected from poly urethane (PU), or poly ethylene (PE).
Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a partial perspective view of a yarn in accordance with the present invention; and
FIG. 2 is a partial cross sectional view of the yarn taken along lines 2-2 of FIG. 1.
Referring to the drawings, a yarn in accordance with the present invention comprises a core 10 made of the materials that may be selected from poly ethylene terephthalate, nylon, metal or the like, and an outer protective covering 20 attached or engaged onto the outer portion of the core 10 and made of the environment protection plastic materials that may be selected from poly urethane (PU), poly ethylene (PE) or the like and that may be decayed or decomposed naturally and that will not pollute our valuable environment.
It is to be noted that the outer protective covering 20 is made of the environment protection plastic materials that may be decayed or decomposed naturally such that the yarn including the core 10 and the outer protective covering 20 will not pollute our valuable environment. In addition, the outer protective covering 20 is waterproof and may be used to suitably protect the core 10.
Accordingly, the yarn in accordance with the present invention may be made of environment protection materials that may be decayed or decomposed naturally and that will not pollute our valuable environment.
Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
1. A yarn comprising:
a core, and
an outer protective covering attached onto an outer portion of said core and made of the environment protection plastic materials.
2. The yarn as claimed in claim 1, wherein said core is made of a material selected from poly ethylene terephthalate, nylon, or metal.
3. The yarn as claimed in claim 1, wherein said outer protective covering is made of a material selected from poly urethane (PU), or poly ethylene (PE).
