The present invention discloses the Burping Cloth Keeper. There has always been an issue of a baby's burping cloth falling off the shoulder of the user. This jeopardizes the sanitary cleanliness of the cloth which is to come in direct contact with a baby; particularly the face. The Burping Cloth Keeper is an invention that will affix the cloth to the garment of the user by sandwiching them between two encased magnets. It will allow the user to have uninhibited movement while staying in place to care for a baby.

The invention falls under the field of baby accessories. More precisely, the invention is a burping cloth attachment.
The Burping Cloth Keeper was invented to create a physical attachment to keep a burping cloth from falling to the ground. The BCK is removable and interchangeable. The variation of the Burping Cloth Keeper is permanently affixed to a burping cloth.
FIG. 1 is a top view of the present invention,
FIG. 2 is a folded view of the present invention; and
FIG. 3 is a folded view of the present invention attached to a burping cloth.
I found that burping cloths were the most problematic with trying to ascertain a level cleanliness for the baby and a level of sanity for myself. The purpose of the Burping Cloth Keeper (BCK) is to prevent compromising the sanitary cleanliness of the cloth. The Burping Cloth Keeper attaches the cloth to the garment of the user through magnets. The magnets are encased in opposing ends of fabric (see FIG. 1). Once folded in half, the cloth and garment would be sandwiched between the BCK (see FIG. 2). There is nothing comparable on the current market.
The Burping Cloth Keeper comes in two variations: single and unattached, and permanently attached to the cloth. See (FIG. 3) for an example of the attached burping cloth keeper to a cloth. It accommodates both the left and right hand users which make it reversible. The BCK also allows free movement for the user. Although the original shape is that of an ‘I’, there are size and shape variations.
The process of creating the product is as follows:
1. A burping cloth keeper/accessory for protecting the sanitary integrity of the cloth, and protecting the garment(s) of the user, the burping cloth keeper comprising: magnets encased in fabric for affixing the burping cloth keeper to a garment and a cloth, where said burping cloth keeper can be removed, and for the permanently affixing of the burping cloth keeper to the cloth to be attached to a garment, where said burping cloth keeper is affixed and cannot be removed from the cloth, and where said burping cloth keeper can be applied with one hand.
2. The burping cloth keeper of claim Number 1, where said magnets encased in fabric hold through several layers of fabric.
3. The burping cloth keeper of claim Number 1, where said individual and separate include size and shape variations.
4. The burping cloth keeper of claim Number 1, where said individual and separate and permanently affixed accommodate a left or right hand user.
5. The burping cloth keeper of claim Number 1, where said burping cloth keeper folds in half.
6. The burping cloth keeper of claim Number 1, where said keeper and cloth is reversible.
7. The burping cloth keeper of claim Number 1, where said burping cloth keeper allows the user to have uninhibited movement.
