TECHNICAL FIELD

The present inventive patent pertains to the field of toy technology, specifically to a plush toy with removable and interchangeable covers.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIVE PATENT

Plush toys, also known as stuffed toys, are made of plush fabrics and other textile materials stuffed with various fillings. Common filling materials include synthetic fibers, fillers, cotton, straw, wood chips, plastic pellets and beans. Plush toys are usually designed for use by children, teenagers and adults. Long-term use of plush toys may lead to the accumulation of bacteria, mites, and other allergens. They pose a serious threat to the health of users, especially to the healthy growth of children and teenagers. Regular cleaning is necessary, but traditional plush toys are typically constructed as one unit, making them difficult to clean. Large-sized plush toys, in particular, cannot be easily washed in home washing machines, making cleaning more time-consuming and laborious. There are currently a few plush toys with a structure where the outer cover can be separated from the inner core, allowing for easier cleaning. However, the inner core, without the protection of the outer cover, is more susceptible to dirt and damage during cleaning. Additionally, the appearance of plush toys is typically fixed at the time of manufacture, limiting the diversity of designs available to users. Urgent improvements are required to address the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIVE PATENT

The purpose of this inventive patent is to address the aforementioned issues by providing a removable and washable plush toy. This design improves upon the traditional one-piece plush toy's cleaning difficulties, as well as the issues of dirt and damage to the inner core in conventional detachable plush toys, while also providing users with a variety of designs.

The inventive patent provides a plush toy with interchangeable covers, comprising:

• • a plush insert, filled to provide shape, and
  • at least two plush covers, each having an inner contour that conforms to the outer contour of the plush insert. Each plush cover is equipped with a zipper mechanism, and the appearances of at least two plush covers differs from each other.

The plush insert can be fitted selectively into any of the plush covers.

Preferably, the plush insert comprises a trunk, a head and limbs, and the inner contour of the plush cover conforms to the outer contour of the trunk, the head and the limbs; or

The plush insert comprises a trunk and a head, and the inner contour of the plush cover conforms to the outer contour of the trunk and the head; or,

The plush insert comprises a head, and the inner contour of the plush cover conforms to the outer contour of the head.

Preferably, the zipper mechanism is provided on the back or bottom of the plush cover.

Preferably, the zipper mechanism comprises a nylon or resin zipper.

Preferably, the zipper mechanism is concealed.

Preferably, the fabric of the plush cover is made of polyester or other synthetic fibers.

Preferably, the fabric of the plush cover comprises elastic fabric components.

Preferably, the filling within the plush insert comprises weighted beads.

Preferably, the appearances of at least two plush covers are designed to be of different animal types.

Preferably, at least two plush covers are designed to be of the same animal type with different facial expressions.

The inventive patent has the following beneficial effects:

By separating the plush insert from the plush cover, the plush insert can be easily removed from the cover by unzipping the zipper, allowing for the cover to be cleaned independently. This eliminates the need to wash the entire plush toy, making the cleaning process more convenient, time-efficient, and less labor-intensive. Cleaning the plush cover separately also ensures a more thorough cleaning, contributing to a more hygienic and safer product for the user.

Moreover, the interchangeable plush covers allow the user to swap out a cover for cleaning while simultaneously using another, providing protection for the plush insert. This design also satisfies the user's diverse needs for various plush toy appearances.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the inventive patent are clearly and completely described in the following with reference to the drawings corresponding to the embodiments of the inventive patent. It is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present inventive patent, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments obtained by ordinary skilled personnel in the art based on the embodiments of the inventive patent without creative efforts are within the scope of the inventive patent.

Referring to FIG. 1 through FIG. 18 together, the inventive patent provides a plush toy with interchangeable covers, comprising:

• • a plush insert 1, filled to provide shape, and
  • at least two plush covers 2, each having an inner contour that conforms to the outer contour of the plush insert 1 and a zipper mechanism 3. The appearance of at least two plush covers 2 differs.

The plush insert 1 can be fitted selectively into any of the plush covers 2.

In this embodiment, by providing interchangeable plush covers, the plush toy can achieve a variety of appearances, meeting the user's expanded needs. At the same time, this design prevents the plush insert from becoming soiled or damaged when the cover is removed for cleaning.

Further, referring to the various animal-shaped toys shown in FIGS. 4 through 14 together, the plush insert 1 comprises a trunk 101, a head 102, and limbs 103, and the inner contour of the plush cover 2 conforms to the outer contour of the trunk 101, the head 102, and the limbs 103. In these embodiments, the overall size of the toys is relatively large, and the plush insert 1 is complete with a trunk 101, head 102, and limbs 103. Accordingly, the plush cover 2 conforms to the outer contour of the trunk 101, head 102, and limbs 103, and the outer surface of the plush cover 2 may also have additional features such as tails and ears.

Further, referring to the puppy-shaped toy shown in FIGS. 15 and 16, the plush insert 1 comprises a trunk 101 and a head 102, and the inner contour of the plush cover 2 conforms to the outer contour of the trunk 101 and the head 102. In this embodiment, the overall size of the toy is relatively small, and the plush insert 1 has a trunk 101 and a head 102 but does not have limbs 103. Accordingly, the plush cover 2 conforms to the outer contour of the trunk 101 and the head 102, and the outer surface of the plush cover 2 may have small limbs or additional features.

Further, referring to the puppy-shaped toy shown in FIGS. 17 and 18, the plush insert 1 comprises a head 102, and the inner contour of the plush cover 2 conforms to the outer contour of the head 102. In this embodiment, the overall size of the toy is relatively small, and the plush insert 1 has a head 102 but does not have a trunk 101 and limbs 103. Accordingly, the plush cover 2 conforms to the contour of the head 102, and the outer surface of the plush cover 2 may have small limbs or additional features.

Further, in another embodiment, the zipper mechanism 3 is provided on the back or bottom of the plush cover 2. It can be understood that in one of the embodiments, the zipper mechanism 3 runs along and through the back with a long zipping range, providing ample space for changing the outfit 2. In another embodiment, the zipper mechanism 3 is provided at the bottom, which is largely concealed to improve the overall appearance of the plush toy with interchangeable covers in a stationary state.

Further, in another embodiment, the zipper mechanism 3 comprises a nylon or resin zipper. It can be understood that the zipper mechanism 3 is made of nylon or resin to ensure high flexibility and durability.

Further, in another embodiment, the zipper mechanism 3 is concealed. It can be understood that in the embodiment, the zipper mechanism 3 is concealed as it is hidden by its edge strips to improve the overall smoothness of the surface.

Further, in another embodiment, the fabric of the plush cover 2 is made of polyester or other synthetic fibers. The high-quality fabric has better durability, can maintain its original form and texture for a long time, and can better adapt to the shape and movement of the toy. When the plush insert 1 is placed inside the plush cover 2, the plush cover 2 will fit better with the plush insert 1.

Further, in another embodiment, the fabric of the plush cover 2 comprises elastic fabric components. It can be understood that the plush cover 2 can be made of elastic fabric components entirely or partially so that the plush cover 2 can provide certain elasticity to facilitate the process as the plush insert 1 is put in or taken out.

Further, in another embodiment, the filling in the plush insert 1 comprises weighted beads. In the embodiment, when the overall size of the plush toy with interchangeable covers is relatively small, the filling being partially of the weighted beads can increase the overall mass of the plush toy, and improve the distribution of the center of gravity of the plush toy and thus the stability when it is being placed.

Further, in another embodiment, the appearance of at least two plush covers 2 differs to be that of different animals. Referring to FIGS. 4 and 6 through 8, the plush toy with interchangeable covers is designed to resemble different animals, namely, a bear, a rabbit, a unicorn and a sloth.

Further, in another embodiment, at least two plush covers 2 are designed to be of the same animal type with different facial expressions. It can be understood that the plush cover 2 may be designed to resemble a smiling bear, a laughing bear, a sorry-saying bear, a sleepy bear, or the like, that is, a bear face having the same shape and different countenances.

In other embodiments, the appearance of the plush cover 2 can be arbitrarily designed to resemble, for example, a happy bear, laughing bear, sleepy bear, lying bear, pastoral bear, shy bear, sorry-saying bear, unlucky bear, Winnie bear, sweet bear, flying bear, teddy bear, bubu bear, Toro cat, big-headed dog, digging dog, cautious dog, stray dog, McDull, Ali the fox, lesucre rabbit, floral dress rabbit, tearing rabbit, rascal rabbit, angel rabbit, love rabbit, rouge rabbit, etc.

The present inventive patent, by separating the plush insert from the plush cover, allows for easy removal of the plush insert by unzipping the zipper, enabling the plush cover to be cleaned independently. This eliminates the need to wash the entire plush toy, making the cleaning process more convenient, time-saving, and efficient. Cleaning the plush cover separately also ensures a more thorough cleaning, promoting greater hygiene and safety for the user. Additionally, the interchangeable plush covers enable the user to replace the cover during the washing process, thus protecting the plush insert while offering diverse appearance options to meet the user's varied preferences.

The description in the specification is for the sake of clarity only, and those skilled in the art should read the specification as a whole, and the technical solutions in the embodiments may be appropriately combined to form other embodiments that can be understood by those skilled in the art.
