ANDROGEN RECEPTOR REGULATION BY SMALL MOLECULE ENANTIOMERS

A class of chiral compounds has been discovered that can have opposite effects on the androgen receptor (AR). The (R)-enantiomers act like traditional anti-androgens, while the (S)-enantiomers activate AR signaling. In prostate cancer that is resistant to castration, the change to growth in the presence of AR-targeted drugs is often linked to mutations in the AR-ligand binding domain. This discovery shows that the compounds can switch between being antagonists and agonists based solely on their structural enantiomerism without changing the AR binding site. Understanding this phenomenon is crucial for developing new treatments for prostate cancer.

Flexible display devices with a planar connection interface

Foldable touch screen display devices have a flexible display unit that can change from a small size to a larger size, with a modular rigid display that can be added. When folded, the device is compact like a handheld phone, and when unfolded, it becomes larger like a tablet. There is also a state where both displays are used together by folding out the rigid display to align with the flexible display. Integrated speaker and microphone are included in all folded states. A module within the display contains processing power, memory, and communication systems that can be used in any state.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE, FOR MAKING SETTINGS ON A MOTOR VEHICLE, FOR OPERATING A SERVER, MOTOR VEHICLE, DATA PROCESSING DEVICE, METHOD FOR MANAGING DATA ON A MOTOR VEHICLE AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

An innovative method has been developed for operating a motor vehicle by creating a unique digital token (NFT) that links a user with the vehicle and stores their personalized settings. This NFT allows for the retrieval of the user's settings when needed, enabling a seamless transition for a new user to use the same vehicle with the same preferences. The idea behind this invention was inspired by the popularity of used cars previously owned by celebrities, highlighting the value of personalized vehicle settings. By utilizing blockchain technology, this method ensures secure and efficient management of data related to the motor vehicle and its users. This invention opens up new possibilities for enhancing user experiences and maintaining personalized settings in shared vehicles.
