Abstract:

A window treatment (cincishade or redishade) is provided with a representation of a digitized image. The preferred embodiment comprises a means for converting an image to a digitized image (i.e. scanning or other methods known in the art); and a means for transferring (i.e. printing, “stamping”, spraying, etc.) digitized image onto above stated window treatment or variations thereof.

Description

The preferred embodiment of the applied art has been changed to a window treatment named Cincishade also called Redishade. The Cincishade is a fully functional pleated window treatment which adheres to the chosen area by use of an adhesive strip. The adhesive strip can be applied directly to glass, window frame or wall.

The Cincishade can be raised and lowered by gathering pleats together and securing with clips included in the current Cincishade purchase package. The window treatment was made for temporary use and can be trimmed to fit any window size. It is constructed of paper fibers. An example can be found in Exhibit A. Information on currently existing products can be found in Exhibit D.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

*All exhibits are in lieu of CAD drawings of same. Art will be applied directly to window treatment in product to be sold. All exhibits will be updated as necessary for compliance.

The method of transferring the images onto the window treatment remains consistent with methods described in Non-Provisional application Ser. No. 09/677,607. This may be done prior to pleating process to improve clarity and quality of the art. The art to be applied may be provided by the party purchasing the window covering, created with the assistance of computer technology, or be pre-existing. Materials to reduce fading, and increase longevity of the product may be applied.

The colored background (currently manufactured only in black and white) may be shown as a boarder to the art as shown in Exhibit A of this document, or cover the entire window treatment as depicted in Exhibit B of this document. It is anticipated that available background colors, textures, and styles of the Cincishade (Redishade) will be expanded from what is currently available. The blind sizes will vary and units will be produced that can be joined horizontally or vertically for larger applications. (See Exhibit C of this document.)

Claims

1. A window treatment or covering comprised of a Cincishade (Redishade) to which art has been applied to present an image on the outer surface by using a wide format printer and methodology as described in detail in Provisional patent application No. 09/677,607.

a. The window covering in claim 1, with art printed onto the viewing surface prior to the pleating process currently used in the Cincishade production.

b. The window covering in claim 1, manufactured and sold without pleats, with a smooth surface.

c. The window covering in claim 1, whereas the art is printed on the entire surface of the shade.

d. The window covering in claim 1, whereas the art consumes only a portion of the surface of the Cincishade with a boarder surrounding the art to aid in the ease of trimming the product to fit smaller window sizes.

e. The window covering in claim 1, in which 2-3 of the art applied temporary window coverings can be joined together vertically or horizontally to produce one complete image.

f. The window covering in claim 1, comprising of slight variations in texture, style and construction materials that may be made available by the same or different manufacturers in the future.

2. A window treatment or covering comprised of art applied to a Cincishade by different transfer techniques known in the art.

3. A window treatment to which art has been applied by methodology discussed in non-provisional patent application Ser. No. 09/677,607; onto a cellular shade.

a. The product discussed in claim 3, whereas the preferred embodiment is a roman shade.

b. An applied art window treatment or covering discussed in claim 3, with the embodiment comprising of a fiber or fabric roll down shade.
