Abstract:

This cover comprises a top cover (FIG. 1A) for adhering to a top side of a notebook computer, and a bottom cover (FIG. 1C) for adhering to the bottom side of the notebook, the top and bottom covers sandwich the notebook computer (FIG. 2A, FIG. 2B). The top cover has blades (1, 2, 3) for wrapping the notebook (FIG. 3), and the blades function as a hood for reducing sunlight shining on the LCD panel of the notebook computer (FIG. 6). This cover can function as a half open case (FIG. 4), or a bag for a notebook or laptop computer or other portable devices by linking up a belt or rope (12) to this cover (FIG. 8). The bottom cover has a blade (4) with a hole for securing to the Anti-Theft Lock Slot of the notebook by a hook bolt (FIG. 4, FIG. 7). This mechanism is designed for a more secured connection between the bottom cover and the notebook computer.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG. 1A shows a top cover for adhering to a top side of a notebook computer.

FIG. 1B shows a pseudo image for showing the related size and position of the notebook in this invention.

FIG. 1C shows a bottom cover for adhering to the bottom side of the notebook computer.

FIG. 2A shows four arrows for showing the four corners on the top cover related to the four corners of the top side of the notebook computer.

FIG. 2B shows the top and bottom covers sandwich the notebook, and blades of the top cover fit the notebook computer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

This cover comprising two pieces, one is a top cover (8), and another is a bottom cover (9) for covering a notebook computer. The top cover has blades (1, 2, 3) can fold and enclose the notebook computer (FIG. 3, FIG. 4). The bottom cover has a blade (4) for securing the bottom cover to the Anti-Theft Lock Slot of the notebook (FIG. 4, FIG. 7, FIG. 8). There are many methods for adhering or fastening the top and bottom cover to the computer. This invention is not restricted to any specific adhesive method.

FIG. 1B shows a pseudo image for showing the related size and position of the notebook in this invention. FIG. 2A shows the notebook is placed on the bottom cover, the bottom cover is adhered to the bottom of the notebook, the top cover is going to be adhered to the top side of the notebook, and the four arrows show the four corners on the top cover related to the four corners of the top side of the notebook computer. FIG. 2B shows the top and bottom covers sandwich the notebook computer.

FIG. 3 shows the blades (1, 2, 3) is folding down and going to adhere to the bottom side of the bottom cover, the shape of the blades is designed for different make, the blades have holes for I/O devices to connect to the notebook computer. The notebook computer is enclosed by the bottom and top covers with blades.

FIG. 4 and FIG. 7 show the blade (4) folds up and is secured to the Anti-Theft Lock Slot of the notebook to provide a secured connection between the notebook computer and the bottom cover.

FIG. 6 shows the blades (1, 2, 3) function as a hood for the LCD panel of the notebook computer. The blades reduce sunlight shining on the LCD panel, which can help a image to be easier to be seen on the LCD panel.

FIG. 8 shows a bag or handbag or shoulder bag comprising the cover, a rope and some connectors. This invention can apply on a laptop computer or portable device. There are methods for linking a rope up to the cover. This invention is not restricted to any specific linking method.

Claims

1. A cover for a notebook computer, the cover comprising:

(a) a bottom cover for adhering to the bottom of the notebook computer, the bottom cover has an blade with a hole for securing on the Anti-Theft Lock Slot of the notebook,

(b) a top cover for adhering to the top of the notebook computer, the top cover has blades on the front or left or right sides for enclosing the notebook by folding the blades down to adhere to the bottom side of the bottom cover, the shape of the blades is designed for different make, the blades have holes for I/O devices to connect to the notebook computer.

2. A bag for a notebook or laptop or portable device, the bag comprising:

(a) the cover of claim 1,

(b) a rope and some connectors for linking up the cover of claim 1.
