Abstract:

In summary, my product holds three tees, three golf balls, and one repair divot. It is available in five great colors. The dimensions of the pouch are 5″ in length, 2″ in height and 1½″ in width. It's made of nylon material. The Hip-Slider Golf Pouch slides easily onto your belt, is light-weight, and compact. This is a convenient location to store the essentials for a great round of golf. Also, while wearing it, golfers do not experience any interference with their swing. The Hip-Slider's focus is to provide a quality golf accessory item that is useful, easily attachable, and comfortable. The Golf Pouch is constructed in such a way that every golfer, no matter what age, can wear it. If you're a golfer; whether man, woman or child, you will find that the Golf Pouch makes carrying and locating the essentials of golf a more enjoyable experience. Your golf balls, tees, and divots no longer have to be carried in your front pant pockets causing bulkiness and wear.

Description

DESCRIPTIVE TITLE OF THE INVENTION

The title of the invention is the Hip-Slider Golf Pouch. The name is derived from how the pouch slides onto a belt strip and is positioned on either the right or left hip depending on the comfort level of the golfer.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The Hip-Slider Golf Pouch was conceived in December of 1998 in Tucson, Ariz. While attending the University of Arizona and around the time of graduation, I decided to explore starting a business and introducing this product to the market. The idea for the golf pouch was initiated after seeing most golfers on the golf course carrying their tees behind their ears, their balls in their front pant pockets, and no easy accessible place to hold the divot repair tool. Therefore, I decided to draw up a specification that would allow a golfer to carry all three items on their person and didn't interfere with their golf swing. So, after sketching the drawing, cutting up and sewing pieces of an old backpack, the idea was born. The Hip-Slider Golf Pouch had grown from an initial concept into a physical product.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The Hip-Slider Golf Pouch holds three tees, three golf balls, and one repair divot. It is available in five colors made of nylon material: red, white, blue, black, and yellow. The dimensions of the pouch are 5″ inches in length, 1½″ inches in width and 2″ inches in height. The Hip-Slider Golf Pouch slides easily onto the golfer's belt. The objective is to provide a quality golf accessory item that is useful, easily attachable, and comfortable.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The specification drawings that will be submitted show each angle of the Hip-Slider Golf Pouch. The exact measurements on how to construct the Hip-Slider Golf Pouch are given for the following: the front, back, sides, bottom, and top of the pouch.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The Hip-Slider golf pouch is 5″ inches in length, 1½″ inches in width and 2″ inches in height. It has a zipper on the top, which zips and up-zips to store three golf balls. On the front side to the pouch, three tees are placed downward and slide between an elastic string. On the backside of the pouch, a divot repair tool is placed on an elastic string that is sewed in the shape of the letter “T” to hold it in place. The back of the golf pouch has two strips of material from the top of the pouch to the bottom measuring 2″ inches in length. These strips enable the golf pouch to slide onto a belt and securely nestle the pouch to the golfer's right or left hip. This pouch could be made of either nylon or leather material. It can also come in a variety of colors. It's machine washable and lightweight.

Claims

1. Jimmy Wayne Scott Jr., claim that the Hip-Slider Golf Pouch is an invention I derived on my own. I had no other input from friends, family, or other persons in the creation of the golf pouch. I hear by claim that I'm submitting all the specifications along with the drawings of my Hip-Slider Golf Pouch in order to receive a full patent on my idea in order to start marketing this product for sale.
