1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates generally to a fitness machine and more particularly, to an economic abdomen stretching exerciser.
2. Description of the Related Art
Following prosperity of the society, people do care more about their living standard and health condition. People usually use fitness machines to exercise the body at home or in a sports center. A variety of fitness machines are commercially available. These fitness machines provide different functions for different exercising purposes. Conventional fitness machines are functional, however they are commonly heavy and expensive.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide an abdomen stretching exerciser, which is practical for training the muscles of the abdomen. It is another object of the present invention to provide an abdomen stretching exerciser, which is compact and inexpensive. To achieve these and other objects of the present invention, the abdomen stretching exerciser comprises a support, the support comprising two upright foot members arranged in parallel on the floor; a pivot shaft horizontally pivotally coupled between the upright foot members and spaced above the floor at a distance; and a swinging backboard affixed to the pivot shaft for turning with the backboard relative to the foot members and for supporting the user sitting on the floor, the swinging backboard having two handlebars bilaterally disposed near a bottom side thereof, and two return springs coupled between the foot members and two distal ends of the pivot shaft for returning the pivot shaft and the backboard after the pivot shaft having been biased.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGSFIG. 1 is a rear oblique elevation of an economic abdomen stretching exerciser according to the present invention.
FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the economic abdomen stretching exerciser according to the present invention.
FIG. 3 is a schematic drawing of the present invention showing the economic abdomen stretching exerciser in operation (I).
FIG. 4 is a schematic drawing of the present invention showing the economic abdomen stretching exerciser in operation (II).
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTIONReferring to FIGS. 1 and 2, an economic abdomen stretching exerciser in accordance with the present invention is shown comprised of a support 1, and a swinging backboard 2.
The support 1 supports the swinging backboard 2 on the floor, comprising two triangular upright foot members 20 arranged in parallel, a pivot shaft 10 horizontally pivotally coupled between the foot members 20 at the top, and two return springs 3 respectively coupled between the foot members 20 and the two distal ends of the pivot shaft 10 for returning the pivot shaft 10 after the pivot shaft 10 having been biased. The swinging backboard 2 is affixed to the pivot shaft 10 and turnable with the pivot shaft 10 relative to the foot members 20, having two forwardly extended handlebars 21 bilaterally disposed near the bottom.
Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, when in use, the user sits on the floor with the back supported on the backboard 2 and the hands holding the handlebars 21, and then the user turns the handlebars 21 and extends the body from the sitting status shown in FIG. 3 to an extended status shown in FIG. 4, and then the user releases the strength for enabling the return springs 3 to return the pivot shaft 10 and the backboard 2, thereby turning the body from the extended status shown in FIG. 4 to the sitting status shown in FIG. 3. This operation procedure is repeated again and again to exercise the muscles of the abdomen.
Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
1. An economic abdomen stretching exerciser comprising:
a support, said support comprising two upright foot members arranged in parallel on the floor;
a pivot shaft horizontally pivotally coupled between said upright foot members and spaced above the floor at a distance; and
a swinging backboard affixed to said pivot shaft for turning with said backboard relative to said foot members and for supporting the user sitting on the floor, said swinging backboard having two handlebars bilaterally disposed near a bottom side thereof.
2. The economic abdomen stretching exerciser as claimed in claim 1, further comprising return spring means coupled between said foot members and two distal ends of said pivot shaft for returning said pivot shaft and said backboard after said pivot shaft having been biased.
