Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a heat exchanging device, and more particularly to a heat exchanging device having a compressor convertible or changeable to different frequencies, for increasing the circulation of the heat medium when the temperature is increased, and for decreasing the circulation of the heat medium when the temperature is decreased.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Typical heat exchanging devices, or heating and cooling systems may comprise a compressor for pumping and circulating a heat or cold medium through a piping, and through various parts or components or elements, for heat exchanging purposes. Normally, the compressor includes a frequency that is predetermined and that may not be converted or changed to the other frequencies.

For example, U.S. Pat. No. 5,239,838 to Tessler discloses one of the typical heating and cooling systems for exchanging heat energy between a refrigeration circuit and a hot water system, and utilizing a solar heated water tank or a conventional water heater. When the compressor is operated or energized, the compressor will be continuously operated in a predetermined frequency that may not be converted or changed to the other frequencies.

Accordingly, when the temperature within the typical heating and cooling systems is either increased or decreased, the compressor will still be continuously operated in the predetermined frequency that may not be converted or changed to the other frequencies to either increase or decrease the circulation of the heat medium, such that the temperature within the typical heating and cooling systems may not be suitably maintained at a suitable or predetermined value or level.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional heat exchanging devices.

Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a plan schematic view of a heat exchanging device in accordance with the present invention; and

FIG. 2 is an electric circuit of the heat exchanging device.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to the drawings, and initially to FIG. 1, a heat exchanging device in accordance with the present invention comprises a piping 10 for receiving and for circulating a heat or cold medium therein, a condenser 11 attached or coupled to the piping 10 for heat exchanging purposes or for pumping the heat or cold medium through the piping 10, and a fan device 12 disposed beside the condenser 11 and coupled to a motor 13, for being rotated and driven by the motor 13 to facilitate the heat exchanging of the condenser 11.

A compressor 14 is also attached or coupled to the piping 10, for pumping and circulating the heat or cold medium through the piping 10, and through various parts or components or elements, such as the condenser 11, for heat exchanging purposes. A reservoir 15 is also attached or coupled to the piping 10, for receiving and storing the heat or cold medium. A window 16 may be provided or attached or coupled to the piping 10, for viewing and watching the flowing of the heat or cold medium through the piping 10.

An evaporator 17, and an expansion valve 18, and a drying device 19 may further be provided and attached or coupled to the piping 10, for heat exchanging purposes. A protecting device 20 may also be attached or coupled to the piping 10, to detect and to control the pressure within the piping 10, and to prevent the pressure within the piping 10 from being greatly increased or greatly decreased, and thus for maintaining the pressure within the piping 10 at a predetermined or constant level.

A tubing 30 is provided for receiving a coolant or a heat exchanging fluid therein, and may be coupled to the evaporator 17, and includes a receptacle 31 attached or coupled to the tubing 30, for receiving and storing the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid therein. A pump 32 is also attached or coupled to the tubing 30, for pumping and circulating the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid through the tubing 30, and through various parts or components or elements, for heat exchanging purposes.

A pressure gauge 33, and a filter device 34, and a processor unit or a control device 35 may also be attached or coupled to the tubing 30, for showing the pressure within the tubing 30, and for filtering the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid circulated through the tubing 30, and for controlling the flowing speed or flowing quantity of the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid through the tubing 30. An object 36 to be cooled may also be attached or coupled to the tubing 30, for being cooled by the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid.

A switch 37 may be attached to the receptacle 31, to control and to maintain the water level of the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid within the receptacle 31, and to prevent the water level of the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid within the receptacle 31 from spilling over the receptacle 31. A temperature detector or sensor 38 may be coupled to the receptacle 31, to detect the temperature of the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid within the receptacle 31, and a heater 39 may also be coupled to the receptacle 31, to heat the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid to the predetermined temperature, for example. One example of the electric circuit for the heat exchanging device is shown in FIG. 2.

The compressor 14 is convertible or changeable to different frequencies, or includes a frequency convertible or changeable to different frequencies, such as between 30 HZ and 120 HZ. For example, when the temperature in either the piping 10 or the tubing 30 is increased and higher than a predetermined temperature, the frequency of the compressor 14 may be controlled or increased to facilitate the circulation of the heat medium through the piping 10, and thus to quickly decrease the temperature in either the piping 10 or the tubing 30.

On the contrary, when the temperature in either the piping 10 or the tubing 30 is decreased and lower than a predetermined temperature, the frequency of the compressor 14 may be controlled or decreased to diminish the circulation of the heat medium through the piping 10, and thus to slower the decreasing or the changing of the temperature in either the piping 10 or the tubing 30. Alternatively, the heater 39 may be used to heat the coolant or the heat exchanging fluid to the predetermined temperature. The conventional compressors failed to provide a frequency convertible or changeable to different frequencies, and may only be used to constantly pump and circulate the heat medium through the piping 10.

Accordingly, the heat exchanging device in accordance with the present invention includes a compressor convertible or changeable to different frequencies, for increasing the circulation of the heat medium when the temperature is increased, and for decreasing the circulation of the heat medium when the temperature is decreased.

Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
