A hanging device for a Roman shade includes a shade cloth with a cloth tube formed in its upper end, an upper tubular rod and two brackets. The cloth tube has two opposite holes, and the upper tubular rod has two opposite vertical holes corresponding to the location of the two holes of said cloth tube, and the upper tubular rod extends in the cloth tube so vertical bolts of the two brackets may pass through those two holes of the upper tubular rod and the cloth tube and then screwed tightly with a nut for supporting the upper tubular rod together with the cloth shade. Then the two brackets are fixed on a wall available for fixing the Roman shade. Further, a finial can be attached with two ends of the upper tubular rod for decoration. Then the Roman shade is optionally applicable to an inside mounted one, an outside mounted one, or an outside one with finials.

1. Field of the Invention
This invention relates to a Roman shade, particularly to one provided with a hanging device for a Roman shade possible to be mounted inside a window, at the outside of a window or a the outside of a window and with finials according to a user's option.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Common Roman shades are generally classified into three kinds, (1) an inside mounted shade, (2) an outside mounted shade and (3) an outside mounted with optional decorative finials. The inside mounted shade is mounted in the inside walls of a window, just hiding the window, and the outside mounted shade is mounted on the outer circumference of a window, hiding the window and part of the window frame. The outside mounted shade with optional decorative finials is an outside mounted shade additionally provided with a finial attached respectively on two ends of a upper tubular rod. Some Roman shades may have a shade raising device and a winding device arranged in the interior of the upper tubular rod and then fixed directly on the circumferential walls of a window. Other Roman shades may have a raising device and a winding device mounted exposed at the outside of the upper tubular rod, and a groove is provided in two ends of the upper tubular rod for screw a bracket for hanging the upper tubular rod on the window wall.
The conventional Roman shades directly fixed on a window wall as described above are generally provided with a complicated upper tubular rod, no longer possible to attach a finials on the two ends of the upper tubular rod, comparatively devoid of an aesthetic appearance. In addition, a bracket is needed for hanging the upper tubular rod with the two ends respectively provided with a groove for fixing a bracket, so the finials are impossible to be attached on the two ends. Moreover, the end portion of the bracket easily exposes out, harming more or less the appearance of the Roman shade. At present, hanging devices for Roman shades can not be applied to all the three kinds of them, quite limited in its applicable scope.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe feature of the invention is a cloth shade with a cloth tube formed at its upper end for an upper tubular rod to extend therein and the upper tubular rod with the cloth tube are supported by two brackets by means of two vertical bolts passing through two holes provided in two free ends of the cloth tube and the upper tubular rod and then screwed tight with a nut. Then the two brackets are fixed on a wall of a window so as to fix the Roman shade on a window.
Further, a finial can be respectively attached with two ends of the upper tubular rod, if it is needed for decoration. Then the Roman shade in the invention can be applied to an inside mounted one, an outside mounted one and an outside mounted one with finials.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTA preferred embodiment of a hanging device for a Roman shade in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, includes a cloth shade 10, an upper tubular rod 20, a raising device 30, and two brackets 40 as main components.
The cloth shade 10 has a cloth tube 11 formed at an upper end, and the upper tubular rod 20 extends in the cloth tube 11 and is positioned therein.
The raising device 30 is attached on the cloth shade 10, possible to be pulled for raising or lowering the cloth shade 10.
The brackets 40 respectively have an L-shaped plate 41 to be fixed on a wall, and a support plate 42 fixed on the L-shaped plate 41 and movable to be adjusted in its location. Further, a bolt 43 extends down from an end of the support plate 42 and then engages with a nut to support and combine rightly the upper tubular rod 20 with the brackets 40.
Further, the cloth tube 11 of the cloth shade 10 is provided with a circular hole 12 respectively in two ends. The upper tubular rod 20 has preferably a circular cross section, but maybe a D-shaped one or other shapes, and a circular through hole 21 respectively in two ends in corresponding to the circular holes 12 of the cloth tube 11 so that the bolt 43 engaging with a nut 44 of each bracket 40 may pass through those circular holes 12 and 21 so as to combine firmly the upper tubular rod for hanging it on the wall where the Roman shade is fixed, as shown in FIG. 6. The upper tubular rod 20 has a threaded hole 22 respectively in two end surface.
The two finials 50 has a sidewise screw 51 respectively fixed in the end surface to engage with the threaded holes 22 of the upper tubular rod 20 for attaching.
Moreover, the circular holes 12 of the cloth tube 11 and the circular through holes 21 of the upper tubular can be substituted with slot-shaped holes (not shown) for convenience of adjusting the location of the upper tubular rod 20 relative to the brackets 40.
Next, how the hanging device for a Roman shade is combined with the three kinds of Roman shades mentioned above is to be described as follows.
