BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a knee and elbow protector, and more particularly, to a knee and elbow protector having a three-dimensionally designed main body filled with material for protecting a knee or an elbow.

2. Description of the Prior Art

The main body of a conventional knee protector or elbow protector is usually formed by molding acrylic or plastic materials, or by sewing elastic fabric to form a circular protector, which is taken on like a sleeve and wrapped around a knee or an elbow.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

One objective of the present invention is to provide a knee and elbow protector having a main body filled with material for protecting a knee or an elbow.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a knee and elbow protector having a three-dimensionally designed main body designed according to various cartoon or animal images for aesthetic consideration.

Still another objective of the present invention is to provide a knee and elbow protector having at least a size-adjustable fastener partly sewn to the main body for detachably fastening the main body to a knee or an elbow, and for using conveniently.

To achieve the above objectives, the present invention provides a knee and elbow protector comprising a three-dimensionally designed main body filled with material for protecting a knee or elbow, and at least a fastener partly sewn to the main body for detachably fastening the main body to a knee or an elbow.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1 to 2, a knee and elbow protector 1 of a first embodiment according to the present invention comprises a three-dimensionally designed main body 10 and two size-adjustable fasteners 11. The main body 10 is made of wear resisting and soft material such as cotton twill and designed according to various cartoon or animal images for aesthetic consideration. The two size-adjustable fasteners 11 are strips of comfortable and air-permeable material such as elastic fabric, wherein two touch fastener portions are disposed near the terminal ends of the strips. The two size-adjustable fasteners 11 are respectively and partly sewn to the upper and lower portions of the rear side of the main body 10, and are able to wrap the upper and lower sides of a knee or an elbow joint by joining the touch fastener portions of the strips for fastening the main body 10 to a knee or an elbow, and to detach from the knee or elbow by separating the touch fastener portions. Referring to FIG. 3, the main body 10 is filled with elastic and gas-permeable material 12 such as cotton or latex for protecting a knee or an elbow.

FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment according to the present invention, wherein only the disposition of each size-adjustable fastener 11′ is different from that in the first embodiment. As shown in the FIG. 4, each size-adjustable fastener 11′ including two strips respectively and partly sewn to the lateral edges of the rear side of the main body 10, wherein the two strips are able to wrap a knee or an elbow by detachably joining their corresponding touch fastener portions respectively disposed near the terminal ends of the two strips.

FIG. 5 shows the state that the protectors of the present invention are taken on the knees and elbows of a user, and FIG. 6 shows the state that the protectors of the present invention are taken on the elbows of a user.

Accordingly, as disclosed in the above description and attached drawings, the present invention can surely accomplish its objectives and provide a knee and elbow protector, which has practical value.

It should be understood that various modifications and variations could be made from the teaching of the present invention by the persons familiar in the art, without departing the spirit of the present invention.
