1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a toolbox for holding saw blades, cutter blades, or the like and, more particularly, to a mobile toolbox, which a number of hinged holder plates for holding flat tool elements.
2. Description of the Related Art
Conventionally, a toolbox for holding saw blades or cutter blades is simply a hollow container having a box body and a box cover covering the box body. Storage saw blades and/or cutter blades are put together in the box body. When picking up the storage saw blades or cutter blades, the user may be injured by the cutting edges of the storage saw blades or cutter blades accidentally. In order to prevent this problem, each storage saw blade or cutter blade is wrapped with a sheet of paper. This storage procedure is complicated. However, the cutting edge of the saw blade or cutter blade may cut open the wrapping paper.
The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a mobile toolbox, which holds storage flat tool blade members in good order, preventing injury accidentally. To achieve this and other objects of the present invention, the mobile toolbox comprises a box body, and a plurality of tool blade element holder cartridges hinged to the inside of the box body. Each tool blade element holder cartridge has two flat storage open chambers separated by a flat retaining panel for holding a respective flat tool blade element.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a mobile toolbox according to the present invention.
FIG. 2 is a sectional view of a part of the mobile toolbox according to the present invention.
Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a mobile toolbox in accordance with the present invention is shown comprising a box formed of two hinged cover shells 10a and 10b, and a plurality of tool blade element holder cartridges respectively hinged to a part inside the box, for example, pivotally coupled to the pivot shaft of the hinge structure between the two cover shells 10a and 10b. Each tool blade element holder cartridge has a flat front panel 11 and a flat back panel 12 arranged in parallel, a flat retaining panel 13 suspending in between the flat front panel 11 and the flat back panel 12 in a parallel manner, a first flat storage open chamber 14 defined between the flat front panel 11 and the flat retaining panel 13, and a second flat storage open chamber 15 defined between the flat back panel 12 and the flat retaining panel 13. Further, the flat retaining panel 13 has an annular retaining flange 16 respectively protruded from each of two opposite sides thereof and respectively suspending in the first flat storage open chamber 14 and the second flat storage open chamber 15.
Referring to FIG. 2 again, when two storage blade members (saw blades or cutter blades) 20 are respectively inserted into the first and second storage open chambers 14 and 15 of one tool blade element holder cartridge, the two annular retaining flanges 16 of the flat retaining panel 13 are respectively engaged into the respective eyelets of the storage blade members 20, holding the storage blade members 20 in place.
Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
1. A mobile toolbox comprising a box and a plurality of tool blade element holder cartridges respectively hinged to a part inside said box, said tool blade element holder cartridges each having a flat front panel and a flat back panel arranged in parallel, a flat retaining panel suspending in between said flat front panel and said flat back panel in a parallel manner, a first flat storage open chamber defined between said flat front panel and said flat retaining panel, and a second flat storage open chamber defined between said flat back panel and said flat retaining panel, said flat retaining panel having an annular retaining flange respectively protruded from each of two opposite sides thereof and respectively suspending in said first flat storage open chamber and second flat storage open chamber for securing a respective storage tool blade element in said first flat storage open chamber and said second flat storage open chamber respectively.
