Abstract:

The nature of the Swing Seat is to protect young children ages 3 and younger by providing a seat that covers the existing seat at parks, schools, etc. It also works by converting a “regular” swing into an infant swing.

Description

All cotton, washable material, in the pattern of choice (such as stripes, solids, etc) in the shape of an infant swing found at any playgroup, park, school, etc. Detailed sewing pattern with measurements to be made by skilled patternmaker. Also necessary are (2) spring links, (2) grommets and binding around leg holes.

Claims

1. This claim if for the rights associated with the invention of and monies made by the sale and use of Regan's Swing Seat. I created the idea, made the first prototype, secured fabric and grommets and spring links for the invention. I tried the first prototype out on children ranging in ages of 10 months and 3 years. I marketed the idea to patternmakers and sewers. I came up with the name Swing Seat.
