Abstract:

The new idea of “the stand hand” is to keep mechanics more organized and give them a simple solution to make sure they have every nut and bolt to put back on their vehicle. The stand hand is a very inexpensive and efficient tool with great design for all.

Description

Being a home mechanic 1 spend a lot of time under cars working on them, I have had nuts and bolts roll away from me, I have layed on them or just lost them. I looked at my jack stands holding my car up and went to work on the stand hand, the perfect tool for home mechanics and shops

The stand hand simply fits over any jack stand, before placing the jack stand under your car. The stand hand can be made of metal, plastic. Todays plastic is great.

The stand hand is pretty simple square design with trays on 2 sides and magnetic strips on 2 sides.

The stand hand in FIG. 1. Part A is 5½ inches inside measurement and 6½ inches outside measurement. The magnetic strips. D. On FIG. 1 run the full 6½ inches on 2 sides. The trays B and C on FIG. 1. Are 3 inches out from A run the full length of square. 6½ inches. B and C are 1¾ inches deep top of B and C. Are flush with A. FIG. 3 is a side view of the stand hand. FIG. 3. Part A. Measures. ½ inch thick. FIG. 4. Shows the 1¾ inch depth of trays. Parts B and C.

Claims

1. The stand hand is a not seen before device to organize mechanics the stand hand balances well with tools on the magnetic strips and nuts and bolts in the trays. I am claiming to have invented a tool to set over jack stands and organizing mechanics better while they work in the cramped spaces under a vehicle the stand hand is a first ever 4 sided, gravity mounted organizer to fit over all jackstands.
