Air-humidification, e.g. cooling by humidification by evaporation of water in the air using stationary unheated wet elements
The adsorptive material (Drawing Number 1, part 1) is machine washable, wetted by the user or other means, and removable. A typical shape of the structure used to support the adsorptive material is a plant, but could be any shape. The means of securing the adsorptive material to the structure can vary, and claim shall be construed to cover the corresponding structure, material, or acts described in the specification and equivalents thereof.
It consist of a means to hold an absorptive material so that evaporation can take place on both sides of it (Drawing Number 1).
This humidifying apparatus works by natural evaporation to allow a humidifying effect in a room.
1: The subject matter of this invention is to create a structure and adsorptive material which allows efficient, safe, natural, and healthy evaporation to occur without use of electricity.
2: Typical humidifiers on the market today have complex pumps and electrical mechanisms, resulting in failure and unreliability. Inside typical humidifiers also have complex tubes and other structure which is hard to clean and if left unmaintained can produce unwanted and potentially unhealthy bacterial and other growth.
3: A secondary failure of typical humidifiers is that they moisten the surrounding carpet and flooring and any other items present—which causes dangerous mold and bacteria to grow.
