Description of Related Art
Bras are used by women to support their breasts as an undergarment. The bras typically include shoulder straps, a rear back strap and cups that receive the females' breasts. One drawback in the use of bras is that bra straps typically become loose and move out of place during use. As a result many times women must constantly adjust hanging bra straps to ensure that proper fit of the bra is maintained. It would therefore be advantageous to have a device that could address loose or falling bra straps to ensure a secure and proper fit of any bra.
The present invention relates to a system for addressing bra strap support that includes: a snap insert placement on each shoulder strap of a bra; and at least one snap insert placement on a back strap of the bra. The present invention also includes a method of addressing bra strap support that includes the steps of: placing a first snap insert onto a first shoulder strap of a bra; placing a second snap insert onto a second shoulder strap of the bra; and placing at least one snap insert onto a back strap of the bra.
FIG. 1 depicts a bra in accordance with the present invention.
FIG. 2 depicts snaps used the bra in accordance with the present invention.
The present invention relates to snaps that are placed upon bra straps to secure the straps to avoid loose or hanging straps during use. The snaps are placed upon both the shoulder straps and back strap of a bra. Once these snaps are in place the bra is tightened and secured thus avoiding loose fitting and loose straps.
In reference FIG. 1, a Bra 50 is depicted. The Bra 50 includes Shoulder Straps 30a, 30b and Back Strap 32a, 32b. These straps are secured through the use of Plastic Snaps 20a, 20b on each respective Shoulder Straps 30a, 30b. Back Snaps 21a, 21b are used on the Back Strap 32a, 32b. The Back Snaps 21a, 21b help to secure both the shoulder strap and the back strap of the Bra 50. The snaps move as needed to adjust and secure the straps for a secure fit of the Bra 50.
A focused view of Snap 20 is shown in FIG. 2. As shown on a Shoulder Strap 30 Snap 20 secures onto the bra strap tightening the Shoulder Strap 30 and avoiding any loose or hanging strap. Further in FIG. 2 Snap 21 is shown as applied to a Back Strap 32. The Snap 21 slides along the back strap and therefore tightens any loose or hanging material. These snaps in accordance with the present invention are easy to use and are comfortably placed on the straps to avoid any falling or loose straps on existing bras. The instant invention has been shown and described in what it considers to be the most practical and preferred embodiments. It is recognized, however, that departures may be made there from within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art.
