Urinals ; Means for connecting the urinal to the flushing pipe and the wastepipe; Splashing shields for urinals
The present application is related to and claims priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62/663,949 filed Apr. 27, 2018, which is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.
The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art nor material to the presently described or claimed inventions, nor that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
The present invention relates generally to the field of urinal sanitation systems of existing art and more specifically relates to urinal screens.
A urinal is a sanitary plumbing fixture for urination only. Urinals are usually used from a standing position and are popular with male users. Urinals can be with automatic or manual flushing, or without flush water as is the case for waterless urinals. They can be arranged as single sanitary fixtures or in a trough design. Urinals are often used in leu of a traditional commode with stalls in a public setting. Men often prefer this to an enclosed stall.
Often, in restrooms in public places, it is desired for the restroom to be sanitary and void of pungent odors such as urine. Public establishments use antibacterial sprays, and sanitary odor absorbing mats placed in strategic areas. One such mat is a urinal screen. Urinal screens are mats placed within urinals to prevent splash back while urinating. They are often plain mats with holes to prevent splashing.
For individuals going through a hard time, words of encouragement and support are often extremely helpful. Simple gestures and phrases may change someone's life, and even save their life in extreme cases, especially when found in an unexpected place. It can be hard to ensure that individuals are exposed to positivity in today's world, which can be challenging and frightening. A suitable solution is desired.
U.S. Pub. No. 2014/0157501 to Daniel D'Amico relates to a urinal screen. The described urinal screen includes a hub, a plurality of spokes radiating downward from the hub, and a plurality of concentric rings supported by the spokes. Compositions deterring accumulation of fluids on urinal screens are also disclosed.
In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known urinal screen art, the present disclosure provides a novel positive screen system. The general purpose of the present disclosure, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide an effective and efficient positive screen system.
A urinal screen is disclosed herein. The urinal screen includes a urinal screen, a plurality of apertures, at least one circular aperture and a fragrant coating. The urinal screen is useful for providing a subtle way to reach individuals on a deeper level and provide positivity by displaying an uplifting and functional message while urinating. This allows individuals that may be suffering from depression to be exposed to uplifting and impactful messages.
According to another embodiment, a method for using a scented urinal screen is also disclosed herein. The method for using a scented urinal screen includes installing a scented urinal screen into a urinal, activating the scented urinal screen by urinating on the scented urinal screen, reading a message revealed on the scented urinal screen and disposing of the scented urinal screen once the scented urinal screen is no longer effective.
For purposes of summarizing the invention, certain aspects, advantages, and novel features of the invention have been described herein. It is to be understood that not necessarily all such advantages may be achieved in accordance with any one particular embodiment of the invention. Thus, the invention may be embodied or carried out in a manner that achieves or optimizes one advantage or group of advantages as taught herein without necessarily achieving other advantages as may be taught or suggested herein. The features of the invention which are believed to be novel are particularly pointed out and distinctly claimed in the concluding portion of the specification. These and other features, aspects, and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings and detailed description.
The figures which accompany the written portion of this specification illustrate embodiments and methods of use for the present disclosure, a positive screen system, constructed and operative according to the teachings of the present disclosure.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the urinal screen during an ‘in-use’ condition, according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the urinal screen of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the urinal screen of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.

The various embodiments of the present invention will hereinafter be described in conjunction with the appended drawings, wherein like designations denote like elements.
As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a urinal screen and more particularly to a positive screen system as used to improve providing a subtle way to reach individuals on a deeper level and provide positivity by displaying a functional uplifting message while urinating as well as to provide utility by removing aroma and allowing for less mess. This allows individuals that may be suffering from depression to be exposed to uplifting and impactful messages. The positive screen system is for use in a public male restroom to convey positivity and hopefulness. A section of the screen includes positive uplifting messages that are revealed while using the urinal. This can help increase the mood of someone that may need words of encouragement, even if they don't realize they need the encouragement at the time.
Referring now more specifically to the drawings by numerals of reference, there is shown in FIGS. 1-4, various views of a urinal screen system 100.
FIG. 1 shows a urinal screen 100 during an ‘in-use’ condition 50, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Here, the urinal screen 110 may be beneficial for use by a user 40 to providing a subtle way to reach individuals on a deeper level and provide positivity by displaying an uplifting message 101 while urinating.
