System consisting of a pierced box-type outer casing made of nets of natural and biodegradable materials which, positioned on eroded coastlines, allows the incident wave motion to pass through, though trapping the suspended and transported particles inside the box, favoring the replenishment of the coast. The outer box is filled with horizontal net sheets with holes of different dimensions, ie with the size of the holes in the sheets that decreases from top to bottom. The bottom is the lower part of the box, positioned on the shore line.

Box built with nets made of natural and biodegradable materials containing sheets of net positioned one on top of the other; the size of the holes of the net sheets decreases from the top to the bottom of the box.
This structure creates a filter effect that modifies the kinetic speed of the sand contained in the wave motions and, as a consequence, traps the sand inside the box.
The holes on the box allow the escape of the water of the wave motions incident on the coast.
As a result, after storm waves the coastline advances and erosion is avoided. The box is positioned at the shoreline (water's edge). By installing multiple boxes side by side, a whole stretch of coastline is protected.
FIG. 1 shows how the box is made;
FIG. 2 shows how to install the boxes (plan view);
FIG. 3 shows how to install the boxes (section view).
the best materials to use are jute sheets, easily available on the market. Alternatively, cotton nets and others natural and biodegradable materials can be used.
the product can be considered as an alternative solution by companies that install rocks or other systems to protect the coasts.
1. Device to avoid the coast erosion, consisting of a pierced box made of natural and biodegradable materials such as, for example, jute or cotton.
2. Device as in the previous claim, containing several sheets of nets made of natural and biodegradable materials.
3. Device as in the previous claim, in which the net sheets contained in the box have holes of decreasing size from top to bottom. That is, the top sheets have larger holes than the bottom sheets.
