Abstract:

The Hand Strengthener is a unique handheld exercise device that has manifold applications. The Hand Strengthener's design and utility is distinctive in several manners: Due to the device's non-uniform, contoured shape, the position and angle the user holds the device can strengthen and stretch different muscle and anatomy groups. The design's sphere shape fits in the users' palm for a comfortable, yet challenging handgrip on one side, while the two other contours allow for a uniquely different exercise experience for the users. Furthermore, the polyurethane material combined with the varied, and non-uniform shape allow for a therapeutic experience for the users. Our disclosures for research of competing devices clearly indicate a lack of multi purpose handheld devices with the Hand Strengthener's distinctive design, shape and contour.

Description

The Hand Strengthener is uniquely designed to fit comfortably and squarely into the palm of your hand. The front view allows for personalizing individual names to advertise and promote business firms. The said Hand Strengthener has manifold utility due to its unique design; in one device, multiple exercises and applications can be utilized by the users of the said Hand Strengthener.

The following are the unique uses, instructions, benefits and therapeutic indications of the Hand Strengthener. The purpose of the said Hand Strengthener is to strengthen and stretch the hand, wrist and forearm muscles. The consistent use of the said Hand Strengthener will keep the users' hand, wrist and forearms healthy, flexible and injury free.

    • Place ball shape in center of your palm with flat front surface facing up; squeeze down on the letters. Benefits: Strengthens and stretches forearms, wrists, and fingers.
    • Place flat front surface down in top edge of your palm with your fingers touching “fingers”; squeeze down on “fingers” slowly. Benefits: Strengthens hands, grip and forearms; alleviates carpal tunnel and arthritis pain.
    • Place flat front surface facing down in center of your palm; squeeze down slowly on BALL with your fingers. Benefits: Alleviates arthritis and carpal tunnel pain, strengthens forearms and wrists.

The Hand Strengthener has a multipurpose application and can be seen and used from several different angles. The uniqueness of the product is the different non-linear, non-symmetrical angles the device has. We have outlined the different angles and views to which the device can be held and used.

The invention claimed is Handheld Exercise Device
A handheld exercise device comprising:
Element A a polyurethane material that makes up said handheld
exercise device
Element B a ball-shaped foam material on back of said handheld
exercise device;
Element C a flat front end of said handheld exercise device;
Element D a curved, finger shaped groove on top of said handheld
exercise device.
