PRIOR ART
Soccer socks are usually made from fabrics like polyester or nylon which can provide tightness. However, these types of socks can become uncomfortable on feet. These types of socks don't offer much cushion and become unpleasant during the course of a game.
Another common material for soccer socks is cotton. While cotton socks provide comfort unlike other materials, cotton doesn't provide the same level of compression that is needed for top level performance and to hold shin guards in place.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
With this in mind, the need for a specialized fabric blend and sock design was present for athletes who participate in soccer.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present subject matter comprises of specialized blends of cotton and polyester in specific locations of the sock.
The sock comprises mainly of cotton from the toes until the ankle and then the sock comprises of mainly polyester or nylon from the ankle to the knee. There are twelve main embodiments of the present subject matter.
The first embodiment has a cotton blend which is 60% cotton and 40% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 80% polyester and 20% cotton.
The second embodiment has a cotton blend which is 60% cotton and 40% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 85% polyester and 15% cotton.
The third embodiment has a cotton blend which is 60% cotton and 40% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 90% polyester and 10% cotton.
The fourth embodiment has a cotton blend which is 60% cotton and 40% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 95% polyester and 5%
The fifth embodiment has a cotton blend which is 70% cotton and 30% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 80% polyester and 20% cotton.
The sixth embodiment has a cotton blend which is 70% cotton and 30% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 85% polyester and 15% cotton.
The seventh embodiment has a cotton blend which is 70% cotton and 30% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 90% polyester and 10% cotton.
The eighth embodiment has a cotton blend which is 70% cotton and 30% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 95% polyester and 5% cotton.
The ninth embodiment has a cotton blend which is 80% cotton and 20% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 80% polyester and 20% cotton.
The tenth embodiment has a cotton blend which is 80% cotton and 20% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 85% polyester and 15% cotton.
The eleventh embodiment has a cotton blend which is 80% cotton and 20% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 90% polyester and 10% cotton.
The twelfth embodiment has a cotton blend which is 80% cotton and 20% polyester from the foot to the ankle. Then the top portion from the ankle to the knee is 95% polyester and 5% cotton.

Claims
1. A pair of socks designed for use while playing soccer which comprises mainly of cotton from the toes until the ankle and then the socks comprise of mainly polyester or nylon from the ankle to the knee.

The pair of socks designed for use while playing soccer which comprises mainly of cotton from the toes until the ankle and then the socks comprise of mainly polyester or nylon from the ankle to the knee as in claim 1, wherein each sock has a fabric blend which is 60% cotton and 40% polyester from the foot to the ankle, and the top portion of each sock from the ankle to the knee is 80% polyester and 20% cotton.

The pair of socks designed for use while playing soccer which comprises mainly of cotton from the toes until the ankle and then the socks comprise of mainly polyester or nylon from the ankle to the knee as in claim 1, wherein each sock has a fabric blend which is 60% cotton and 40% polyester from the foot to the ankle, and the top portion of each sock from the ankle to the knee is 85% polyester and 15% cotton.
