Smart Summary: A new prayer and meditation kit has been created to help people keep track of their prayers. It consists of a box with a lid that is divided into two sections. Inside the box, there are small figures that represent different prayers, and these figures can be made from various materials like wood or glass. As someone prays, they move a figure from one side of the box to the other. This kit makes it easier for users to see how many prayers they have said and what types they are focusing on. π TL;DR

Religious or ritual equipment in dwelling or for general use
The present invention relates to a device and system which will enable the user to keep their place during prayer or meditation if interrupted.
Prayer and meditation have been practiced for centuries by various religions. Meditation is also used by the social sciences to develop good mental health.
Sometimes these religious practices include repetitive prayers. Catholics use rosaries, Buddhist and Hindus use Mallah beads, Jews use tzitzit, and Muslims use Misbaha beads to name a few. Using prayer beads enables the user to count the number and kind of prayers completed.
Praying repetitive prayers throughout the day while at work can be difficult because one may lose his/her place if interrupted unexpectedly.
Therefore, a need exists to enable the user to pray and/or meditate at their convenience while keeping track of number and kind of prayers.
The present invention comprises a novel prayer system and kit. The kit includes a box with a lid. The inside of the base of the box is divided into two parts. The box can be made of, but is not limited to, wood, glass, pottery, ceramic, paper mache, or cardboard and can be various colors, shapes, and sizes and may include artwork. The attached illustrations depict one variation of the kit. However, the kit is not limited to these examples.
FIG. 1 shows the outside of the kit. It is a container with a secured lid, which may be attached by, but not limited to, hinges, screw-on, clip-on, slide-in, or other fitted means, to contain the contents of the container.
FIG. 2 depicts the inside of the container. The bottom of the container is separate into two parts equal in size. Inside the container are the number of figurines needed for a particular prayer series.
This description is an example of the invention and is not intended to limit the invention to any specific embodiment herein.
FIG. 1 depicts a container as a wooden box. This container may also be made of ceramic, plastic, glass, clay, or any other material suitable for containing the chosen figurines.
The wooden box has a latch (1) and hinged lid (2). The hinged lid with latch enables the box to contain the enclosed figurines. The lid may also be, but is not limited to, screw on, clip-on, slide-in, or any other mechanism that attaches the lid to the base.
FIG. 2 depicts the same wooden box with an opened, hinged lid. The base (4) of this wooden box is separated by a divider (6) to create two equal sized compartments (8) (9).
In this example, we will use the Flying Novena Prayer. For this prayer series, the user will say the Memorare prayer 10 times. There are ten wooden cubes (10) (11) representing the 10 prayers and a crucifix (12). Nine cubes are blue (10) and one cube is white (11).
To begin the prayer, all cubes (10) (11) and the crucifix (12) will be in the left-side compartment (8). The user will take the crucifix (12) in hand and make the sign of the cross with it. Once complete, the user will place the crucifix (12) in the right-side compartment (9).
Next, the user will say nine Memorare prayers. Each time a prayer is complete, the user will move one blue cube (10) from the left-side compartment (8) to the right-side compartment (9). After nine Memorare prayers are complete, the user will say a final tenth Memorare prayer and move the white cube (11) to the right-side compartment (9) completing the prayer series.
