CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims the benefit and priority of Chinese patent application No. 202311089866.X, filed on Aug. 28, 2023, disclosure of which is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to cannabidiol (CBD) composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product, and belongs to the technical field of electronic cigarettes.

BACKGROUND

Electronic cigarettes are increasingly favored by consumers as an alternative to traditional tobacco for reasons of personal health, environmental protection, and convenience of use. Electronic cigarettes or electronic atomizers replace the smoke produced by burning traditional tobacco at high temperatures by an aerosol, that is inhaled by a user, formed by atomizing a smoking material at low temperatures. Cartridges in electronic cigarettes are used for producing smoke and providing a tobacco flavor. When an electronic cigarette heats an atomization material in a cartridge, resulting an aerosol is inhaled to simulate the taste and texture of tobacco.

Cannabidiol (CBD), an all-natural ingredient extracted from hemp plants, has a molecular formula of C21H30O2. Traits are white to light yellow resin or crystal with a melting point of 66Β° C.-67Β° C., almost insoluble in water, and soluble in ethanol, methanol, ether, benzene, chloroform and other organic solvents. Currently, CBD is widely used in electronic cigarettes.

Disclosed in the invention patent with the application number of CN202010379644.1 is electronic cigarette oil for an aerosol device. The electronic cigarette oil includes cannabidiol, linolenic acid, nicotine salt, flavoring agent, auxiliary solvent, etc. The linolenic acid is one or two of Ξ±-heavy linolenic acid and Ξ³-linolenic acid, and has a desirable atomization effect, is easy to carry, has low toxicity, can reduce smoking addiction and has little damage to the human body.

Disclosed in the invention patent with the application number of CN201810327014.2 is composition for an atomization rod. The composition includes a cannabinol component extracted from industrial hemp and an auxiliary material, a mass percentage of the cannabinol component extracted from industrial hemp in the composition is 0.01%-10%, the cannabinol component extracted from industrial hemp contains CBD and CBDV, a mass percentage of the CBD in the cannabinol component extracted from industrial hemp is 30%-90%, and a mass percentage of the CBDV is 1%-25%. The composition may be electronic cigarette liquid, popping beads or flavoring liquid, which can relax the muscles of a smoker, raise the mood and do not contain harmful ingredients in atomized smoke, and can also improve and enrich the aroma of cigarettes, and improve the aroma richness of cigarettes, the sensory quality, and the interestingness of vaping.

It can be seen that the traditional electronic cigarettes containing CBD use electronic cigarette liquid or oil, which is cigarette liquid, and has the following disadvantages:

    • 1) the cigarette liquid often has the disadvantage that the taste is not pure enough, which cannot match the cut tobacco of cigarettes.
    • 2) the cigarette liquid needs to be loaded in a specific plastic or metal container, which is costly and cannot be loaded by ordinary paper. It is far from cigarette, and many environmental problems will occur after the plastic or metal container is used up.

SUMMARY

In view of the above defects, the technical problem solved in the present invention is to provide application of cannabidiol (CBD) to a heat-not-burn solid carrier.

The present invention is used for cannabidiol (CBD) composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product, including cannabidiol and a solid carrier, where a cannabidiol content is 0.5%-30%, and the solid carrier is a heat-not-burn solid carrier.

Preferably, the solid carrier includes one or more of tobacco, tea leaf, hemp, mint, honeysuckle, chrysanthemum, rose, orchid, herba Epimedii, wheat, rice, sesame, Sichuan pepper, pepper, astragalus, litchi, ginseng, fresh ginger, kudzu vine root, wax gourd, elderberry, grapefruit, Schisandra chinensis, dandelion, grape, banana, coconut, caffeine, ephedrine, vanilla, strawberry, blueberry, cypress wood, apple, orange, cucumber, pumpkin, watermelon, almond, cinnamon, bay leaf, Cinnamomum camphora, soybean, coffee, cocoa, liquorice, mulberry leaf and lotus leaf.

In a particular embodiment of the present invention, the solid carriers are in a form of filaments, granules or fragments.

In some particular examples of the present invention, the CBD composition further includes hemp, where the hemp includes flowers, leaves, roots or stems of the hemp.

Preferably, the hemp is dried hemp having a moisture content less than 15%.

In some particular examples of the present invention, the CBD composition further includes at least one of propylene glycol, glycerol and edible essence and flavor.

In a particular embodiment of the present invention, the CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in parts by weight, 0.5 part-30 parts of the cannabidiol, 3 parts-60 parts of hemp, 1 part-20 parts of propylene glycol, 1 part-20 parts of glycerol, 20 parts-60 parts of the solid carriers, and 1 part-30 parts of edible essence and flavor.

Preferably, the CBD composition includes, in parts by weight, 5 parts-15 parts of the cannabidiol, 5 parts-50 parts of hemp, 1 part-20 parts of propylene glycol, 1 part-20 parts of glycerol, 1 part-30 parts of edible essence and flavor, and 5 parts-30 parts of the solid carriers.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the CBD composition is prepare by mixing the cannabidiol with the solid carrier or adsorbing the cannabidiol on the solid carrier.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the heat-not-burn atomization product is heated by a heating appliance to form an aerosol.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the heat-not-burn atomization product is an electronic cigarette cartridge or a heat-not-burn atomization rod.

Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following beneficial effects:

In the present invention, the CBD is apply to the solid carrier to obtain a solid cartridge, and compare with traditional mixing of the CBD and a liquid carrier, the present invention is safer, has strong experience feeling and is closer to the experience of a traditional cigarette.

In the present invention, a solid cartridge obtained by using the solid composition can be wrapped in paper, such that the cost is reduced, and the solid cartridge is easy to degrade and is more natural and environment-friendly.

During application of the CBD composition, the addition amount of reagents such as propylene glycol, glycerol, etc. is low, such that the CBD composition is safer, the entire cartridge can be infinitely close to a traditional cigarette, to achieve an experience feeling of a cigarette.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

The present invention is used for cannabidiol (CBD) composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product, including cannabidiol and a solid carrier, where a cannabidiol content is 0.5%-30%, and the solid carrier is a heat-not-burn solid carrier.

In the present invention, the cannabidiol and the solid carrier are mixed to prepare the solid composition, which can be apply to an electronic cigarette cartridge and generates an atomization effect in a heat-not-burn manner. The cartridge can be wrapped in paper, such that the cost is reduced, and the solid cartridge is easy to degrade and is more natural and environment-friendly. Such CBD apply to the solid carrier is safer and has stronger experience feeling than traditional CBD applied to a liquid carrier, and is closer to the experience of a traditional cigarette.

Solid carriers common in the art are suitable for use in the present invention. Preferably, the solid carrier includes one or more of tobacco, tea leaf, hemp, mint, honeysuckle, chrysanthemum, rose, orchid, herba Epimedii, wheat, rice, sesame, Sichuan pepper, pepper, astragalus, litchi, ginseng, fresh ginger, kudzu vine root, wax gourd, elderberry, grapefruit, Schisandra chinensis, dandelion, grape, banana, coconut, caffeine, ephedrine, vanilla, strawberry, blueberry, cypress wood, apple, orange, cucumber, pumpkin, watermelon, almond, cinnamon, bay leaf, Cinnamomum camphora, soybean, coffee, cocoa, liquorice, mulberry leaf and lotus leaf.

In a particular embodiment of the present invention, the solid carriers are in a form of filaments, granules or fragments.

In some particular examples of the present invention, the CBD composition further includes hemp, where the hemp includes flowers, leaves, roots or stems of the hemp.

Preferably, the CBD composition includes, in parts by weight, 5 parts-15 parts of the cannabidiol, 5 parts-50 parts of hemp, 1 part-20 parts of propylene glycol, 1 part-20 parts of glycerol, 1 part-30 parts of edible essence and flavor, and 5 parts-30 parts of the solid carriers.

According to the present invention, the CBD, the hemp and the solid carrier are used to prepare the solid composition, and the components are synergistic, such that the prepared electronic cigarette has better experience feeling and can replace the cigarette.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the CBD composition is prepare by mixing the cannabidiol with the solid carrier or adsorbing the cannabidiol on the solid carrier. CBD mixed with or adsorbed on a solid carrier can be used in a heat-not-burn atomization product, to generate an atomization effect in a heat-not-burn manner.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the heat-not-burn atomization product is heated by a heating appliance to form an aerosol.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the heat-not-burn atomization product is an electronic cigarette cartridge or a heat-not-burn atomization rod.

The particular embodiments of the present invention are further described below in combination with the examples, and the present invention is not limited to the scope of the examples.

In the example, the edible essence is lemon oil, the hemp is the flower of the hemp, a water content is less than or equal to 15%, and the solid carrier is tobacco. The edible essence, the hemp, the cannabidiol (CBD) and the solid carrier are commercially available.

Example 1

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

30% of cannabidiol (CBD), and the balance of solid carriers.

The solid carriers are made into filaments, then the CBD is added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Example 2

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

30% of cannabidiol, 20% of hemp, and the balance of solid carriers.

The hemp and the solid carriers are made into filaments, then the CBD is added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Example 3

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

30% of cannabidiol, 20% of hemp, 20% of propylene glycol, 1% of glycerol, 2% of edible essence, and the balance of solid carriers.

The hemp and the solid carriers are made into filaments, then the CBD, the propylene glycol, the glycerol and the edible essence are added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Example 4

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

0.5% of cannabidiol, 60% of hemp, 1% of propylene glycol, 15% of glycerol, 2% of edible essence, and the balance of solid carriers.

The hemp and the solid carriers are made into filaments, then the CBD, the propylene glycol, the glycerol and the edible essence are added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Example 5

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

5% of cannabidiol, 50% of hemp, 10% of propylene glycol, 10% of glycerol, 2% of edible essence, and the balance of solid carriers.

The hemp and the solid carriers are made into filaments, then the CBD, the propylene glycol, the glycerol and the edible essence are added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Example 6

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

15% of cannabidiol, 30% of hemp, 5% of propylene glycol, 5% of glycerol, 2% of edible essence, and the balance of solid carriers.

The hemp and the solid carriers are made into filaments, then the CBD, the propylene glycol, the glycerol and the edible essence are added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Example 7

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

10% of cannabidiol, 40% of hemp, 3% of propylene glycol, 3% of glycerol, 2% of edible essence, and the balance of solid carriers.

The hemp and the solid carriers are made into filaments, then the CBD, the propylene glycol, the glycerol and the edible essence are added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Example 8

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

12% of cannabidiol, 45% of hemp, 3% of propylene glycol, 3% of glycerol, 2% of edible essence, and the balance of solid carriers.

The hemp and the solid carriers are made into granules, then the CBD, the propylene glycol, the glycerol and the edible essence are added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Comparative Example 1

CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product includes, in percentage by weight:

50% of cannabidiol, 3% of propylene glycol, 3% of glycerol, 2% of edible essence, and the balance of solid carriers.

The solid carriers are made into filaments, then the CBD, the propylene glycol, the glycerol and the edible essence are added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

Comparative Example 2

Hemp composition includes, in percentage by weight:

50% of hemp, 3% of propylene glycol, 3% of glycerol, 2% of edible essence, and the balance of solid carriers.

The hemp and the solid carriers are made into filaments, then the propylene glycol, the glycerol and the edible essence are added, mixed uniformly, and then added into a cartridge body, such that an electronic cigarette cartridge is obtained.

With reference to GB 5606.4-2005 Cigarettes-Part 4: Technical Requirements for Sense Evaluation, sense quality scoring standards are shown in Table 1:

Fragrance: a generic term for pleasant and comfortable smell and taste. Oily: cut tobacco has bright luster, is oily and shiny. Aroma: perfume of tobacco inherent in cigarette smoke itself. Full: the aroma is rich. Delicate: smoke particles are fine and smooth. Enough: the aroma is abundant and not lacking, but not full. Rough: as for smoke features, the sense is a granular, burred, not very comfortable feeling. Harmony: the aroma is harmonious, characteristics of one of the monomers can not be sensed, for instance, edible essence and flavor are added to be reconciled with tobacco, and a leaf group formula is reconciled. Impurity smell: slight and obvious bad smell that does not have the essential smell of cigarettes, such as grass smell, raw impurity smell, wood smell, dry coke smell, resin smell, local impurity smell and choking smell, etc. Irritation: slight and obvious discomfort caused by smoke to senses, such as impact, burning feeling, etc. to a nasal cavity, an oral cavity, a throat. Aftertaste: a taste left after smoke is exhaled from a mouth and a nasal cavity. The aftertaste includes comfort degree, cleanliness degree and dry sensation. Pure: pure and clean feeling in all parts of the mouth.

10 professional vaping evaluators aged 25-45, including 6 males and 4 females, were randomly selected for a test through a blind evaluation scoring method. The electronic cigarette cartridges of Examples 1-6 were prepared into electronic cigarettes, and traditional cigarettes were used as a control for the vaping evaluators to try. Each vaping evaluator evaluated and scored the above samples in sequence (under the condition that the vaping evaluator fails to have results at one time of vaping and evaluation, the vaping evaluator can repeat vaping and evaluation, and each person had 3 samples at most). The results of each vaping evaluator are recorded and counted. Statistical results are shown in Table 2.

Since there is no luster test item for electronic cigarettes, the luster item is scored as 5 points. Table 2 shows average values of the scores of the 10 vaping evaluator. It can be seen that the CBD composition in the present invention applied to a heat-not-burn atomization rod can have a desirable experience feeling, even better than that of a traditional cigarette.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. Cannabidiol (CBD) composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product, comprising cannabidiol and a solid carrier, wherein a cannabidiol content is 0.5%-30%, and the solid carrier is a heat-not-burn solid carrier.

2. The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 1, wherein the solid carrier comprises one or more of tobacco, tea leaf, hemp, mint, honeysuckle, chrysanthemum, rose, orchid, herba Epimedii, wheat, rice, sesame, Sichuan pepper, pepper, astragalus, litchi, ginseng, fresh ginger, kudzu vine root, wax gourd, elderberry, grapefruit, Schisandra chinensis, dandelion, grape, banana, coconut, caffeine, ephedrine, vanilla, strawberry, blueberry, cypress wood, apple, orange, cucumber, pumpkin, watermelon, almond, cinnamon, bay leaf, Cinnamomum camphora, soybean, coffee, cocoa, liquorice, mulberry leaf and lotus leaf.

3. The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 1, wherein the solid carriers are in a form of filaments, granules or fragments.

4. The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 1, further comprising hemp, wherein the hemp comprises flowers, leaves, roots or stems of the hemp.

5. The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 1, wherein the hemp is dried hemp having a moisture content less than 15%.

6. The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 1, further comprising at least one of propylene glycol, glycerol and edible essence and flavor.

The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 1, comprising, in parts by weight, 0.5 part-30 parts of the cannabidiol, 3 parts-60 parts of hemp, 1 part-20 parts of propylene glycol, 1 part-20 parts of glycerol, 20 parts-60 parts of the solid carriers, and 1 part-30 parts of edible essence and flavor.

8. The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 7, comprising, in parts by weight, 5 parts-15 parts of the cannabidiol, 5 parts-50 parts of hemp, 1 part-20 parts of propylene glycol, 1 part-20 parts of glycerol, 1 part-30 parts of edible essence and flavor, and 5 parts-30 parts of the solid carriers.

9. The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 1, wherein the CBD composition is prepare by mixing the cannabidiol with the solid carrier or adsorbing the cannabidiol on the solid carrier.

10. The CBD composition for a heat-not-burn atomization product according to claim 1, wherein the heat-not-burn atomization product is an electronic cigarette cartridge or a heat-not-burn atomization rod.
