CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

The present application claims priority to, and the benefit of, U.S. Provisional Application No. 63/560,253, which was filed on Mar. 1, 2024, and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to the field of hunting blind window devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a window kit for hunting blinds. Accordingly, this disclosure makes specific reference thereto the present invention. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices and methods of manufacture.

BACKGROUND

By way of background, this invention pertains to advancements in hunting blind window devices, specifically designed to enhance the overall experience for hunters enduring harsh and frigid weather conditions. Cold temperatures during hunting expeditions can significantly reduce comfort, leading to physical discomfort and a decline in mental acuity, which in turn makes it more challenging to remain focused and alert. This discomfort can affect a hunter's ability to concentrate on the surroundings, monitor wildlife movement, and take precise actions when needed. Therefore, there is a need for an improved solution that mitigates these issues and allows hunters to maintain their focus, even in cold environments. This invention addresses these concerns by offering a device that not only improves comfort but also enhances performance in extreme weather conditions, ensuring that hunters can remain in their blinds for longer periods without compromising their alertness or ability to act efficiently.

Therefore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a hunting blind window device that provides users with a device for keeping warm while hunting in cold temperatures. There is also a long-felt need in the art for a hunting blind window device. Finally, there is a long-felt need in the art for a hunting blind window device that can be applied to a hunting blind to insulate the blind, while retaining full blind functionality.

The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a hunting blind window device. The device is a window kit for hunting blinds designed to mitigate wind penetration without compromising visibility or camouflage effectiveness during hunting in cold weather conditions. The hunting blind window device comprises window components that can be configured in any shape to suit the needs or desires of a user. Each of the window components comprises a frame around the edges that includes magnets. These magnets are used to mount the window components to a hunting blind by attaching to magnetic clips located around the openings of the blind. Thus, once the device is installed in a hunting blind, a user can stay warm without compromising hunting efficiency.

In this manner, the hunting blind window device of the present invention accomplishes all of the forgoing objectives and provides users with a device that allows for a more comfortable hunting experience in cold or windy weather conditions.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The following presents a simplified summary in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the disclosed innovation. This summary is not an extensive overview, and it is not intended to identify key/critical elements or to delineate the scope thereof. Its sole purpose is to present some general concepts in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.

The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a hunting blind window device. The device is a window kit for hunting blinds designed to mitigate wind penetration without compromising visibility or camouflage effectiveness during hunting in cold weather conditions. The device retains heat within a hunting blind and attaches to a blind via magnets that securely attach to steel clips positioned around the window edges. The device is comprised of clear, flexible materials that are both durable and lightweight, incorporating a micro-perforated camouflage film to maintain concealment while allowing visibility. The device is characterized by its windproof and insulating properties, and its versatile mounting options, which permit installation from either the inside or outside of a blind, enhancing its utility and effectiveness in various hunting scenarios. Thus, once the device is installed in a hunting blind, a user can stay warm without compromising hunting efficiency.

In one embodiment, the hunting blind window device of the present invention assists any hunting setting that requires a user to utilize a hunting blind. The hunting blind window device is easily mounted to the inside or outside of a hunting blind via magnets that securely attach to steel clips positioned around the window edges. The hunting blind window device provides for a customizable and comfortable hunting experience, characterized by its windproof and insulating properties, as well as versatile mounting options.

In one embodiment, the hunting blind window device comprises multiple window components. Typically, each of the window components comprises a frame around the edges that features magnets. These magnets are designed to attach the window components to the openings of a hunting blind, around which magnetic clips are placed. Typically, the window components are secured to a hunting blind magnetically, although any suitable securing means as is known in the art may be utilized.

In one embodiment, the window components are comprised of a translucent or clear, flexible material that is durable and lightweight. Typically, the window components feature micro-perforated camouflage film that allows the user to see outside the blind while staying concealed. In one embodiment, the material that comprises the window components is windproof and insulating to keep the user comfortable while hunting in cold weather conditions.

In one embodiment, the hunting blind window device in accordance with the present invention can be produced in various colors, designs, patterns, etc., and feature logos, emblems, and or designs, such as a distributor requests and/or a user desires.

In one embodiment, the hunting blind window device is manufactured of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE), or any other suitable materials as is known in the art. Any number of different types of materials can be used to make the hunting blind window device including but not limited to plastics, nylon, textile materials, etc.

In use, the user secures the magnets located on the frames of the window components to the magnetic clips located around the openings of a hunting blind. The user can then utilize the device while hunting, mitigating wind and insulating the hunting blind to keep the user comfortable. Thus, once the device is installed in a hunting blind, a user can stay warm without compromising hunting efficiency.

It will also be appreciated that there are a number of additional add-on features that can be incorporated into the device and moreover, the hunting blind window device can take many different forms as is known in the art.

In yet another embodiment, the hunting blind window device comprises a plurality of indicia.

In yet another embodiment, a method of conveniently mounting and utilizing the hunting blind window device while hunting is disclosed. The method includes the steps of providing a hunting blind window device comprising multiple window components with frames that feature strong magnets around the edges, and magnetic clips. The method also comprises securing the magnets of the window components to the magnetic clips around the hunting blind openings. Finally, the method comprises utilizing the device while hunting.

Numerous benefits and advantages of this invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art to which it pertains, upon reading and understanding the following detailed specification.

To the accomplishment of the foregoing and related ends, certain illustrative aspects of the disclosed innovation are described herein in connection with the following description and the annexed drawings. These aspects are indicative, however, of but a few of the various ways in which the principles disclosed herein can be employed and are intended to include all such aspects and their equivalents. Other advantages and novel features will become apparent from the following detailed description when considered in conjunction with the drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

The innovation is now described with reference to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals are used to refer to like elements throughout. In the following description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding thereof. It may be evident, however, that the innovation can be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in block diagram form in order to facilitate a description thereof. Various embodiments are discussed hereinafter. It should be noted that the figures are described only to facilitate the description of the embodiments. They are not intended as an exhaustive description of the invention and do not limit the scope of the invention. Additionally, an illustrated embodiment need not have all the aspects or advantages shown. Thus, in other embodiments, any of the features described herein from different embodiments may be combined.

As noted above, there is a long-felt need in the art for a hunting blind window device that provides users with a way to stay warm while hunting in cold temperatures. There is also a need for a hunting blind window device that can be applied to a hunting blind to insulate it, while maintaining full functionality.

The present invention, in one exemplary embodiment, is a novel hunting blind window device. This device is a window kit for hunting blinds designed to reduce wind penetration without compromising visibility or camouflage during cold-weather hunting. The hunting blind window device comprises window components that can be shaped according to the user's needs or preferences. Each window component includes a frame around the edges that incorporates magnets. These magnets are used to mount the window components to a hunting blind by attaching them to magnetic clips located around the blind's openings. Once installed, this device allows the user to stay warm without reducing hunting efficiency.

The present invention also includes a novel method of conveniently mounting and using the hunting blind window device while hunting. The method involves providing a hunting blind window device with multiple window components featuring frames with strong magnets and magnetic clips. The next step is securing the magnets of the window components to the magnetic clips around the blind's openings. Finally, the method involves utilizing the device while hunting to improve comfort and maintain effectiveness.

Referring initially to the drawings, FIGS. 1-9 illustrate multiple perspective views of one embodiment of the hunting blind window device 100 of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the hunting blind window device 100 is an improved hunting blind window device 100 that provides a user with a means of blocking wind and insulating a hunting blind 200 without compromising hunting efficiency. Specifically, the hunting blind window device 100 comprises multiple window components 110 that secure magnetically to a hunting blind 200. Thus, once the device 100 is installed in or on a hunting blind 200, a user is provided with a more comfortable hunting experience.

Generally, the hunting blind window device 100 of the present invention assists any hunting setting that requires a user to utilize a hunting blind 200. The hunting blind window device 100 is easily mounted to the inside or outside of a hunting blind 200 via fasteners 114 that securely attach to clips 120 positioned around the openings 202 of the blind 200. The fasteners 114 are preferably magnets and the clips 120 are preferably magnetic clips. The hunting blind window device 100 provides for a customizable and comfortable hunting experience, characterized by its windproof and insulating properties, as well as versatile mounting options.

As shown in FIGS. 1-9, the hunting blind window device 100 comprises multiple window components 110. The window components 110 can be of any size or shape to suit the needs or desires of a user. Each of the window component 110 comprises a perimeter frame 112 that features magnets 114. These magnets 114 are designed to attach the window components 110 to the openings 202 of a hunting blind 200, around which magnetic clips 120 are placed. Typically, the window components 110 are secured to a hunting blind 200 magnetically, although any suitable securing means as is known in the art may be utilized.

The window components 110 are comprised of a translucent or clear, flexible material that is durable and lightweight. Typically, the window components 110 feature micro-perforated camouflage film that allows the user to see outside the blind 200 while staying concealed. The material that comprises the window components 110 is also windproof and insulating to keep the user comfortable while hunting in cold weather conditions.

As shown in FIG. 9, in use, the user secures the magnets 114 located on the frames 112 of the window components 110 to the magnetic clips 120 located around the openings 202 of a hunting blind 200. The user can then utilize the device 100 while hunting, mitigating wind and insulating the hunting blind 200 to keep the user comfortable.

It is also to be appreciated that the hunting blind window device 100 in accordance with the present invention can be produced in various colors, designs, patterns, etc., and feature indicia 400 such as but not limited to logos, emblems, and or designs, such as a distributor requests and/or a user desires.

In one embodiment, the hunting blind window device 100 is manufactured of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE), or any other suitable materials as is known in the art. Any number of different types of materials can be used to make the hunting blind window device 100 including but not limited to nylon, textile materials, heat-scalable plastic or polymers, such as polypropylene or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), or any other suitable material as is known in the art, such as but not limited to, acrylic, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, etc. Generally, the hunting blind window device 100 is also manufactured from a material that is water resistant or waterproof, or the window components 110 comprise a coating that is water resistant or waterproof.

In yet another embodiment, the hunting blind window device 100 comprises a plurality of indicia 400. The window components 110 of the device 100 may include advertising, a trademark, or other letters, designs, or characters, printed, painted, stamped, or integrated into the window components 110, or any other indicia 400 as is known in the art. Specifically, any suitable indicia 400 as is known in the art can be included, such as but not limited to, patterns, logos, emblems, images, symbols, designs, letters, words, characters, animals, advertisements, brands, etc., that may or may not be hunting, camouflage or brand related.

FIG. 10 illustrates a flowchart of the method 300 of conveniently mounting and utilizing the hunting blind window device 100 while hunting. The method 300 includes the step of at 301, providing a hunting blind window device 100 comprising multiple window components 110 with frames 112 that feature strong magnets 114 around the edges, and magnetic clips 120. The method 300 also comprises at 302, securing the magnets 114 of the window components 110 to the magnetic clips 120 around the hunting blind openings 202. Finally, the method 300 comprises at 303, utilizing the device 100 while hunting.

In a further embodiment, the hunting blind window device 100 may include additional securing mechanisms beyond magnets 114 and magnetic clips 120, to ensure stability in harsh weather conditions or rugged environments. For example, the perimeter frame 112 of the window components 110 may further comprise fasteners 114 such as but not limited to hook-and-loop fasteners, snap-fit connectors, or tension straps to enhance the attachment to the hunting blind 200. These additional and/or alternative fasteners 114 provide redundancy, ensuring that the window components 110 remain securely in place even in strong winds or when subjected to external forces.

The window components 110 may also be designed to be modular and interchangeable. In this configuration, the hunting blind window device 100 may comprise multiple window panels 120 of varying materials or insulation levels, allowing a user to swap panels depending on environmental conditions. For example, a heavier, insulated window panel 120 may be utilized in extremely cold environments, while a lighter, more breathable window panel 120 may be preferred in warmer climates.

In an alternative embodiment, the window components 110 are comprised of a UV-protective or anti-glare material or coating to protect the user from harmful UV rays while also reducing glare, thereby improving visibility and comfort during long hours of hunting in direct sunlight. The UV-protective material/coating may also enhance the durability of the window components 110 by preventing material degradation over time due to exposure to sunlight.

In another embodiment, the window components 110 of the hunting blind window device 100 may be comprised of a hydrophobic material/coating that repels water, ensuring that the windows remain clear and free of condensation or rain droplets during use. The hydrophobic coating not only improves visibility but also helps to maintain the insulating properties of the device by preventing moisture buildup.

Certain terms are used throughout the following description and claims to refer to particular features or components. As one skilled in the art will appreciate, different users may refer to the same feature or component by different names. This document does not intend to distinguish between components or features that differ in name but not structure or function. As used herein “hunting blind window device”, “hunting device”, “blind device”, “window device” and “device” are interchangeable and refer to the hunting blind window device 100 of the present invention.

Notwithstanding the forgoing, the hunting blind window device 100 of the present invention can be of any suitable size and configuration as is known in the art without affecting the overall concept of the invention, provided that it accomplishes the above stated objectives. One of ordinary skill in the art will appreciate that the hunting blind window device 100 as shown in FIGS. 1-9 is for illustrative purposes only, and that many other sizes and shapes of the hunting blind window device 100 are well within the scope of the present disclosure. Although the dimensions of the hunting blind window device 100 are important design parameters for user convenience, the hunting blind window device 100 may be of any size that ensures optimal performance during use and/or that suits the user's needs and/or preferences.

Various modifications and additions can be made to the exemplary embodiments discussed without departing from the scope of the present invention. While the embodiments described above refer to particular features, the scope of this invention also includes embodiments having different combinations of features and embodiments that do not include all of the described features. Accordingly, the scope of the present invention is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications, and variations as fall within the scope of the claims, together with all equivalents thereof.

It is, of course, not possible to describe every conceivable combination of components or methodologies for purposes of describing the claimed subject matter, but one of ordinary skill in the art may recognize that many further combinations and permutations of the claimed subject matter are possible. Furthermore, to the extent that the term “includes” is used in either the detailed description or the claims, such term is intended to be inclusive in a manner similar to the term “comprising” as “comprising” is interpreted when employed as a transitional word in a claim.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. A hunting blind window device comprising:

a window component comprised of a perimeter frame;

a magnet positioned around the perimeter frame;

a magnetic clip; and

wherein the window component is configured to be removably attach to the magnetic clip via the magnet to cover an opening of a hunting blind.

2. The hunting blind window device of claim 1, wherein the window component is comprised of a translucent, flexible material.

3. The hunting blind window device of claim 1, wherein the perimeter frame is made of high-density polyethylene.

4. The hunting blind window device of claim 1, wherein the window component is comprised of a micro-perforated camouflage film.

5. The hunting blind window device of claim 1, wherein the window component is comprised of a water-resistant or a waterproof material.

6. The hunting blind window device of claim 1 further comprised of a fastener.

7. The hunting blind window device of claim 6, wherein the fastener is comprised of a hook and loop fastener, a snap-fit connector, or a tension strap.

8. The hunting blind window device of claim 1, wherein the window component is comprised of a UV-protective material.

9. The hunting blind window device of claim 1, wherein the window component is comprised of a hydrophobic material.

10. A hunting blind window device comprising:

a window component comprised of a perimeter frame comprised of a translucent, a windproof, and an insulating material; and

a magnet affixed to the perimeter frame; and wherein the window component is configured to be attached to a hunting blind opening using a clip that is positioned around the opening.

11. The hunting blind window device of claim 10, wherein the window component is comprised of an indicia.

12. The hunting blind window device of claim 11, wherein the indicia is comprised of a logo, an emblem, or a design.

13. The hunting blind window device of claim 10, wherein the perimeter frame is made of high-density polyethylene.

14. The hunting blind window device of claim 10, wherein the window component is comprised of a micro-perforated camouflage film.

15. The hunting blind window device of claim 10, wherein the window component is comprised of a water-resistant or a waterproof material.

16. The hunting blind window device of claim 10, wherein the window component is comprised of a UV-protective material.

17. The hunting blind window device of claim 10, wherein the window component is comprised of a hydrophobic material.

18. The hunting blind window device of claim 10, wherein the clip is comprised of a magnetic clip.

19. The hunting blind window device of claim 10, wherein the window component is comprised of a windproof material.

20. A method of using a hunting blind window device, the method comprising the following steps:

providing a hunting blind window device comprised of a window component comprised of a perimeter frame with a magnet, and a magnetic clip positioned around an opening of a hunting blind;

securing the magnet of the window component to the magnetic clip around the opening of the hunting blind; and

utilizing the hunting blind window device to insulate the hunting blind and block wind.
