Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to the field furniture technologies, and in particular, to an adjustable sofa.

BACKGROUND

“Sofa” is a foreign word transliterated from English word “sofa”. It is a multi-seats chair equipped with cushions. The armchair with spring or thick foam plastic is a kind of soft furniture.

The sofa in related technologies is usually mainly composed of a sofa frame and a seat cushion fixed on its upper surface, a cushion located at the back thereof, and an armrest located on one side, which renders it is convenient for users to sit and rest. However, in related technologies, seat cushions are usually fixed in space and cannot be extended to extend the external space of the seat cushion, which renders it is not easier for users to place and support their legs, leads to user's experience inconvenient for further improvement.

SUMMARY

In order to overcome the shortcomings in the background technology, embodiments of the present application provide an adjustable sofa that facilitates adjusting the area space of the seat cushion, renders the sofa is suitable for users to rest in various different positions and improves the experience.

The technical solution adopted by the embodiment of the present application to solve its technical problem is as follows.

An adjustable sofa, including a U-shaped sofa bottom frame and a sofa armrest fixed on one side of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame; a rear upper of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame is fixed with a rear frame, an inner upper of the sofa armrest is provided with a seat cushion; a support pad is provided between an inner lower of the sofa armrest and an upper of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame; an extension pad is provided between the seat cushion and the support pad to expand a width of the sofa; a length adjustment component is fixed on an opposite surface of the extension pad and the U-shaped sofa bottom frame to extend and contract the extension pad.

According to some embodiments of the present application, an inner wall of the extension pad is fixed with a fixed plate A; the length adjustment component includes two sets of telescopic connection rod parts installed between the fixed plate A and the rear frame, a fixed plate B and a fixed plate C parallel to each other and respectively installed between two inner walls of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame; a drive part is hinged between the fixed plate B and the fixed plate C; the drive part is further movably connected to one side of the telescopic connection rod parts close to the fixed plate A to drive the telescopic connection rod parts to extend or contract.

According to some embodiments of the present application, the telescopic connection rod parts include a connection rod A rotationally connected to a side wall of the rear frame, two sides of a bottom of the connection rod A are rotationally connected to a connection rod B and a connection rod C; one ends of the connection rod B and connection rod Care respectively rotationally connected to a connection rod D and a connection rod E; one end of the connection rod E is rotationally connected to a connection rod F; one end of the connection rod F is rotationally connected to a connection rod G; two sides of one surface of the connection rod D away from the connection rod G are respectively rotationally connected to a connection rod H and a connection rod I; a connection rod J is rotationally connected between the connection rod H and the connection rod I; the connection rod J is rotationally connected to a connection rod K; an outer end of the connection rod K is rotationally connected to a connection rod L, an end of the connection rod L is rotationally connected to a connection rod M; an outer end of the connection rod M is connected to an articulated seat.

According to some embodiments of the present application, the drive part includes a servo motor and a reducer installed at an output end of the servo motor, an outer shell of the reducer is hinged with an upper of the fixed plate B; an end of the reducer is provided with a ball screw cylinder nut pair A, an upper of the fixed plate C is connected to an installation plate, an outer end of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A is rotatably connected to the installation plate, an outer wall of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A is rotatably connected to a nut seat A; an outer side of the nut seat A is connected to a movement guide member, the movement guide member is movably connected to the articulated seat to enable the nut seat A drives the telescopic connection rod parts to extend or contract.

According to some embodiments of the present application, the movement guide member includes an engagement rod A rotationally connected to the nut seat A and perpendicular to the ball screw cylinder nut pair A, an outer end of the engagement rod A is vertically connected to an engagement rod B, other end of the engagement rod B away from the engagement rod A is vertically rotatably connected to an engagement rod C, other end of the engagement rod C is vertically rotatably connected to an engagement rod D, and an end of the engagement rod D is rotatably connected to the articulated seat.

According to some embodiments of the present application, an upper side of the seat cushion is hinged with a back cushion located at an upper of the rear frame.

According to some embodiments of the present application, the adjustable sofa further includes an angle adjusting component that is matched with the drive part to drive an angle adjustment of the back cushion;

    • the angle adjustment component includes a bevel gear A installed on an outer wall of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A close to the reducer, and a support plate fixed between two sides of a bottom of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame; two sides of an upper of the support plate are respectively rotationally connected with a rotating shaft and a ball screw cylinder nut pair B; the rotating shaft is rotationally connected with a bevel gear B that meshes with the bevel gear A, and both the rotating shaft and the ball screw cylinder nut pair B are rotationally connected with spur gears that mesh with each other; the ball screw cylinder nut pair B runs through an inner cavity of the rear frame, and an upper of the ball screw cylinder nut pair B is rotationally connected with a nut seat B, two sides of an outer wall of the nut seat B are provided with a top rod that is vertically connected hereto, a support rod is hinged between the top rod and a rear of the back cushion.

According to some embodiments of the present application, an upper of the seat cushion is provided with an armrest pad leaning against the upper of the sofa armrest.

According to some embodiments of the present application, a bottom of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame is fixedly installed with feet, and a bottom of the feet is provided with a rubber pad.

According to some embodiments of the present application, one side of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame away from the sofa armrest is provided with a pair of U-shaped clamp blocks for movably splicing other sofas.

The advantages of the embodiments of the present application are:

    • traditional low back cushion of sofa has a seat height of 20 inches, a seat depth of around 23 inches, and a backrest height of around 20 inches plus headrests (starting from the seat), totaling around 63 inches. The present application reduces the backrest height by three inches and adds it to the seat depth to maintain the total extension unchanged.
    • the length adjustment component can stretch out the extension pad between the seat cushion and the support pad to extend the space area of the sofa cushion area, allowing users to lie down on the sofa; when it is not necessary to lay down, the length adjustment component can be used again to shrink the extension pad between the seat cushion and the support pad, rendering the sofa suitable for users to rest in various positions, thereby enhancing the experience.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

The technical solution in the embodiments of the present application is to solve the problems in the background technology mentioned above, and the overall idea is as follows.

Embodiment 1

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, an adjustable sofa includes a U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2 and a sofa armrest 1 fixed on one side of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2. A rear upper of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2 is fixed with a rear frame 3, an inner upper of the sofa armrest 1 is provided with a cushion 4, a support pad 6 is provided between an inner lower of the sofa armrest 1 and an upper of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2; an extension pad 7 is provided between the seat cushion 4 and the support pad 6 to expand a width of the sofa, a length adjustment component 8 for extending and contracting the extension pad 7 is fixed on an opposite surface of the extension pad and the U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2.

In this embodiment, the length adjustment component 8 can stretch out the extension pad 7 located between the seat cushion 4 and the support pad 6 to extend a space area of a sofa seat cushion area, allowing a user to lie down on the sofa; when it is not necessary to lay down, the length adjustment component 8 can be used again to retract the extension pad 7 between the seat cushion 4 and the support pad 6.

Where, the use of support pad 6 can serve as a support for the extension pad 7, thereby improving its stability during pull-out and contraction use.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, an inner wall of the extension pad 7 is fixed with a fixed plate A 71, the length adjustment component 8 includes two sets of telescopic connection rod parts 81 installed between the fixed plate A 71 and the rear frame 3, a fixed plate B 82 and a fixed plate C 83 parallel to each other and respectively installed between two inner walls of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2, a drive part 84 is hinged between the fixed plate B 82 and the fixed plate C 83. The drive part 84 is further movably connected to one side of the telescopic connection rod parts 81 close to the fixed plate A 71 to drive the telescopic connection rod parts 81 to extend or retract.

Specifically, under an action of the drive part 84, the telescopic connection rod parts 81 extend or contract, causing the extension pad 7 to be pulled out or retracted between the seat cushion 4 and the support pad 6.

The telescopic connection rod parts 81 include a connection rod A811 that is rotationally connected to a side wall of the rear frame 3, two sides of a bottom of the connection rod A 811 are rotationally connected to a connection rod B 812 and a connection rod C 813. One ends of the connection rod B 812 and connection rod C 813 are respectively rotationally connected to a connection rod D 814 and a connection rod E 815, one end of the connection rod E 815 is rotationally connected to a connection rod F 816. One end of the connection rod F 816 is rotationally connected to a connection rod G 817. Two sides of one surface of the connection rod D 814 away from the connection rod G 817 are respectively rotationally connected to a connection rod H 818 and a connection rod I 819, a connection rod J 820 is rotationally connected between the connection rod H 818 and the connection rod I 819. The connection rod J 820 is rotationally connected to a connection rod K 821. An outer end of the connection rod K 821 is rotationally connected to a connection rod L 822. An end of the connection rod L 822 is rotationally connected to a connection rod M 823, an outer end of the connection rod M 823 is connected to an articulated seat 824. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, when the drive part 84 is extended, the connection rod structure moves forward, the extension pad 7 is driven to be pulled out between the seat cushion 4 and the support pad 6.

The drive part 84 includes a servo motor 841 and a reducer 842 installed at an output end of the servo motor 841, an outer shell of the reducer 842 is hinged with an upper of the fixed plate B 82. An end of the reducer 842 is provided with a ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843, an upper of the fixed plate C 83 is connected to an installation plate 845. An outer end of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843 is rotationally connected to the installation plate 845, an outer wall of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A843 is rotationally connected to a nut seat A 844, an outer side of the nut seat A 844 is connected to a movement guide component 846, and the movement guide member 846 is movably connected to the articulated seat 824 to enable the nut seat A 844 drives the telescopic connection rod parts 81 to achieve extension or contraction movement. Specifically, the servo motor 841 can drive the ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843 to rotate, and under the guide of the movement guide element 846, the nut seat A 844 is directly driven to move forward; and thus, pulling out the extension pad 7 from a position between the seat cushion 4 and the support pad 6, thereby expanding the space area of the sofa seat cushion.

As shown in FIG. 7, the movement guide member 846 includes an engagement rod A 8461 that is rotationally connected to the nut seat A844 and perpendicular to the ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843. An outer end of the engagement rod A 8461 is vertically connected to an engagement rod B 8462, other end of the engagement rod B 8462 away from the engagement rod A 8461 is vertically connected to an engagement rod C 8463. Other end of the engagement rod C 8463 is vertically connected to an engagement rod D 8464, and an end of the engagement rod D 8464 is rotationally connected to the articulated seat 824. Specifically, the setting of the engagement rod A 8461, engagement rod B 8462, engagement rod C 8463, and engagement rod D 8464 facilitates a synchronous movement of the telescopic connection rod parts 81 during a forward or backward movement of the nut seat A 844.

As shown in FIG. 1, an upper side of the seat cushion 4 is hinged with a back cushion 5 located at an upper of the rear frame 3. The back cushion 5 can be used to provide a user with a back rest during rest. It should be noted that a bottom of back cushion 5 is made of hard material, and a hinge position between seat cushion 4 and back cushion 5 is also made of hard material. Soft cushions can be placed on other parts of its upper part.

The adjustable sofa in the above scheme can expand the space area of the sofa seat cushion, allowing a user who was originally sitting to now lie on the sofa shown in FIG. 1. However, the position of the back cushion 5 in the above scheme is fixed, and it is not possible to use the drive part 84 to reduce a tilt angle of the back cushion 5 while expanding an overall length of the sofa seat cushion. Additionally, an additional angle adjustment drive structure is required for the back cushion 5, which increases maintenance costs.

As shown in FIGS. 6, 8, and 9, the adjustable sofa further includes an angle adjusting member 10 that is matched with the drive part 84 to drive an angle adjustment of the back cushion 5.

As shown in FIGS. 6, 8, and 9, the angle adjustment component 10 includes a bevel gear A 101 installed on an outer wall of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843 close to the reducer 842, and a support plate 102 fixed between two sides of a bottom of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2. Two sides of an upper of the support plate 102 are respectively rotationally connected with a rotating shaft 103 and a ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104, and the rotating shaft 103 is rotationally connected to a bevel gear B 105 that meshes with the bevel gear A 101, both the rotating shaft 103 and the ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104 are rotationally connected with spur gears 106 that mesh with each other. The ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104 runs through an inner cavity of the rear frame 3, and an upper of the ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104 is rotationally connected with a nut seat B 107. Two sides of an outer wall of the nut seat B 107 are provided with a top rad 108 that is vertically connected hereto, and a support rod 109 is hinged between the top rod 108 and a rear of the back cushion 5.

In this embodiment, when the servo motor 841 is turned on, the nut seat A 844 will move along the ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843 towards a front of the seat cushion 4 (i.e., towards a left side of the seat cushion 4 in FIG. 1), the extension pad 7 is driven to be pulled out between the seat cushion 4 and the support pad 6; at the same time, the bevel gear A 101 on the outside of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843 drives a bottom of the bevel gear B 105 that is engaged with it. At this time, the rotating shaft 103 rotates, its upper part is driven to mesh with the spur gear 106 that is engaged with the outer wall of the ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104. As a result, the ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104 rotates, and the nut seat B 107 moves downward under the drive of the ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104 (i.e., advances towards a lower direction in FIG. 1), which renders the nut seat B107 drives the top rod 108 to move downwards, as shown in FIG. 9, to move in an opposite direction of the arrow, which reduces a tilt angle between the back cushion 5 and the seat cushion 4, and renders it more comfortable for the user to lie down and rest. Additionally, when adjusting the extension cushion 7 and the back cushion 5, they share a common drive structure, thereby reducing maintenance costs.

As shown in FIG. 1, an upper of the seat cushion 4 is provided with an armrest pad 9 that leans against the upper of the sofa armrest 1. The use of armrest pad 9 can increase the comfort of a user leaning on the sofa.

As shown in FIG. 1, a bottom of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2 is fixedly installed with feet, and a bottom of the feet is provided with a rubber pad. The sofa is raised a certain distance to prevent it from sticking to the ground, which reduces an occurrence of moisture on the sofa. At the same time, rubber pads are used to also reduce wear and tear on the floor tiles during movement.

As shown in FIG. 1, one side of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame 2 away from the sofa armrest 1 is provided with a pair of U-shaped clamp blocks for movably splicing of other sofas. As shown in FIG. 1, the design of U-shaped blocks facilitates the assembly of the adjustable sofa and increases an overall stability of the sofa.

It should be noted that in the present application, an original base of the sofa has been deepened and the previous sofa has been renovated, that is, the height of the sofa that was originally at the height of the support pad 6 has been deepened. The new sofa design is easy to change styles, rendering the user's experience better.

The present application relates to an adjustable sofa, which, when used, the servo motor 841 is turn on, and the nut seat A844 will move along the ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843 towards the front of the seat cushion 4 (i.e., towards the left side of the seat cushion 4 in FIG. 1), the extension pad 7 is driven to be pulled out between the seat cushion 4 and the support pad 6, the space area of the sofa seat cushion is expanded; at the same time, the bevel gear A 101 on the outside of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A 843 drives the bottom of the bevel gear B 105 that is engaged with it. At this time, the rotating shaft 103 rotates, its upper part is driven to mesh with the spur gear 106 that is engaged with the outer wall of the ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104. As a result, the ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104 rotates, and the nut seat B107 moves downward under the drive of the ball screw cylinder nut pair B 104 (i.e., advances towards the lower direction in FIG. 1), the nut seat B 107 drives the top rod 108 to move downwards, as shown in FIG. 9, to move in the opposite direction of the arrow, which reduces the tilt angle between the back cushion 5 and the seat cushion 4, reduces the tilt height of the back cushion 5, renders it more comfortable for the user to lie down and rest. Additionally, the extension cushion 7 and the back cushion 5 share the same drive structure when adjusting, thereby reducing maintenance costs.

It should be noted that the specific models and specifications of servo motor 841 and reducer 842 need to be selected and determined based on the actual specifications of the device. The specific selection calculation method adopts existing technology in this field, so it is no longer detailed.

The power supply and its principle of servo motor 841 and reducer 842 are clear to technical personnel in this field and will not be explained in detail here.

Finally, it should be noted that the above embodiments are only intended to clearly illustrate the embodiments provided in the present application, rather than limiting the implementation modes. For ordinary technical personnel in their respective fields, different forms of changes or substitutions can be made based on the above explanations. There is no need and cannot be an exhaustive list of all implementation modes here. The obvious changes or substitutions arising from this are still within the protection scope of the present application.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. An adjustable sofa, comprising a U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2) and a sofa armrest (1) fixed on one side of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2), a rear upper of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2) is fixed with a rear frame (3), an inner upper of the sofa armrest (1) is provided with a seat cushion (4),

wherein a support pad (6) is provided between an inner lower of the sofa armrest (1) and an upper of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2);

an extension pad (7) is provided between the seat cushion (4) and the support pad (6) to expand a width of the sofa;

a length adjustment component (8) is fixed on an opposite surface of the extension pad (7) and the U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2) to extend and contract the extension pad (7).

2. The adjustable sofa according to claim 1, wherein an inner wall of the extension pad (7) is fixed with a fixed plate A (71);

the length adjustment component (8) comprises two sets of telescopic connection rod parts (81) installed between the fixed plate A (71) and the rear frame (3), a fixed plate B (82) and a fixed plate C (83) parallel to each other and respectively installed between two inner walls of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2);

a drive part (84) is hinged between the fixed plate B (82) and the fixed plate C (83); the drive part (84) is further movably connected to one side of the telescopic connection rod parts (81) close to the fixed plate A (71) to drive the telescopic connection rod parts (81) to extend or contract.

The adjustable sofa according to claim 2, wherein the telescopic connection rod parts (81) comprise a connection rod A (811) rotationally connected to a side wall of the rear frame (3), two sides of a bottom of the connection rod A (811) are rotationally connected to a connection rod B (812) and a connection rod C (813); one ends of the connection rod B (812) and connection rod C (813) are respectively rotationally connected to a connection rod D (814) and a connection rod E (815); one end of the connection rod E (815) is rotationally connected to a connection rod F (816); one end of the connection rod F (816) is rotationally connected to a connection rod G (817); two sides of one surface of the connection rod D (814) away from the connection rod G (817) are respectively rotationally connected to a connection rod H (818) and a connection rod I (819); a connection rod J (820) is rotationally connected between the connection rod H (818) and the connection rod I (819); the connection rod J (820) is rotationally connected to a connection rod K (821);

an outer end of the connection rod K (821) is rotationally connected to a connection rod L (822), an end of the connection rod L (822) is rotationally connected to a connection rod M (823); an outer end of the connection rod M (823) is connected to an articulated seat (824).

4. The adjustable sofa according to claim 3, wherein the drive part (84) comprises a servo motor (841) and a reducer (842) installed at an output end of the servo motor (841), an outer shell of the reducer (842) is hinged with an upper of the fixed plate B (82);

an end of the reducer (842) is provided with a ball screw cylinder nut pair A (843), an upper of the fixed plate C (83) is connected to an installation plate (845),

The adjustable sofa according to claim 4, wherein the movement guide member (846) comprises an engagement rod A (8461) rotationally connected to the nut seat A (844) and perpendicular to the ball screw cylinder nut pair A (843), an outer end of the engagement rod A (8461) is vertically connected to an engagement rod B (8462), other end of the engagement rod B (8462) away from the engagement rod A (8461) is vertically rotatably connected to an engagement rod C (8463), other end of the engagement rod C (8463) is vertically rotatably connected to an engagement rod D (8464), and an end of the engagement rod D (8464) is rotatably connected to the articulated seat (824).

6. The adjustable sofa according to claim 5, wherein an upper side of the seat cushion (4) is hinged with a back cushion (5) located at an upper of the rear frame (3).

7. The adjustable sofa according to claim 6, further comprising an angle adjusting component (10) that is matched with the drive part (84) to drive an angle adjustment of the back cushion (5);

the angle adjustment component (10) comprises a bevel gear A (101) installed on an outer wall of the ball screw cylinder nut pair A (843) close to the reducer (842), and a support plate (102) fixed between two sides of a bottom of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2); two sides of an upper of the support plate (102) are respectively rotationally connected with a rotating shaft (103) and a ball screw cylinder nut pair B (104); the rotating shaft (103) is rotationally connected with a bevel gear B (105) that meshes with the bevel gear A (101), and both the rotating shaft (103) and the ball screw cylinder nut pair B (104) are rotationally connected with spur gears (106) that mesh with each other; the ball screw cylinder nut pair B (104) runs through an inner cavity of the rear frame (3), and an upper of the ball screw cylinder nut pair B (104) is rotationally connected with a nut seat B (107), two sides of an outer wall of the nut seat B (107) are provided with a top rod (108) that is vertically connected hereto, and a support rod (109) is hinged between the top rod (108) and a rear of the back cushion (5).

8. The adjustable sofa according to claim 1, wherein an upper of the seat cushion (4) is provided with an armrest pad (9) leaning against the upper of the sofa armrest (1).

9. The adjustable sofa according to claim 1, wherein a bottom of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2) is fixedly installed with feet, and a bottom of the feet is provided with a rubber pad.

10. The adjustable sofa according to claim 1, wherein one side of the U-shaped sofa bottom frame (2) away from the sofa armrest (1) is provided with a pair of U-shaped clamp blocks for movably splicing other sofas.
