The present application claims the benefit of Chinese Patent Application No. 2025212551920 filed on Jun. 18, 2025, the contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference.
The invention belongs to the technical field of trays and particularly relates to a portable tray.
When people go out to go to go beach travel, go camping and do other activities, they usually use soft containers such as beach bags and handbags to take their personal items like drinks, fruits, electronic devices, etc. However, these soft containers fail to form a structural space and lack internal division for users to better use. Thus, it is easy for items to fall over, be squeezed or collide with each other during placement, which not only affects the efficiency of taking and placing the items but also cause damage to these items.
At present, there are some solutions with similar functions on the market, such as inserting hard pallets, providing suspended partitions or plastic partition boxes into bags to improve the stability of items, but these solutions have the following defects.
First, the fixing method is unreliable. Most existing pallets rely on gravity or friction to position, lack an effective clamping mechanism with the bag body, and are easily displaced or fall off as the bag body shakes.
Second, the installation is complicated. Some solutions need to be assembled through Velcro, buttons, zippers, which require cumbersome adjustments before and after use, affecting user experience.
Third, the function is single and lack of scalability. Most common trays on the market have a single structure, and it is impossible to choose the type of trough (such as rectangular or tubular) according to the usage scenario, and they do not have the ability to be modularized.
Fourth, these partition boxes and bags are not portable, because the hard structures are bulky, so it reduces the efficiency of use. It is difficult for users to take out items from the bag and inconvenient to carry.
In order to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art, the present invention provides a portable tray, which can be quickly installed on the opening of the external object such as a beach bag or a handbag without additional tools. Therefore, the tray is convenient to carry and disassemble.
The technical scheme adopted by the present invention for solving technical problems is as follows:
A portable tray includes a trough and a plurality of clamping assemblies. The plurality of clamping assemblies is symmetrically arranged on two sides of the trough.
Further, the trough includes a rectangular trough body.
Further, the trough includes a tubular trough body.
Further, the trough includes at least one rectangular trough body and one tubular trough body.
Further, the bottom surface of the trough is provided with at least one protrusion.
Further, the bottom surface of the trough is provided with a plurality of protrusions, and the plurality of protrusions are arranged in a matrix.
Further, each clamping assembly includes a first clamping component extending downward from the edge of the tray. A clamping groove is formed between the first clamping component and a trough side wall.
Further, the first clamping component is provided with a notch.
Further, each clamping assembly further includes a second clamping component extending toward the clamping groove. And the second clamping component is tightly attached to the trough side wall.
Further, one side wall of the trough is provided with two groups of clamping assemblies in a way of interval.
Further, the portable tray comprises at least two troughs arranged in a way of interval.
Further, the plurality of clamping assemblies is arranged on any three sides of the tray.
Further, the plurality of clamping assemblies is arranged on four sides around the
tray.
The present invention also provides a tray system, comprising at least two trays as described above.
The beneficial effects of the present invention are as follows.
First, the portable tray provided by the present invention can be quickly installed on an opening of an external object such as a beach bag, a handbag via the plurality of clamping assemblies without additional tools. Therefore, it is convenient for users to carry, install and disassemble when they go out.
Second, the rectangular trough body of the portable tray can be used to store daily items such as mobile phones, keys, snacks, etc.; the tubular trough body is suitable for storing cylindrical items such as water cups, parasols, etc.; with divisional trough bodies, it meets people's need of storage.
Third, the plurality of clamping assemblies form plurality of clamping points with the external object's side wall to enhance stability.
Fourth, users can place their mobile phones and other electronic devices on the bottom surface of the tray. Thanks to the design of the protrusion on the bottom surface, the tray works as a stand or holder.
Fifth, users can freely combine different trays to form a tray system so as to adapt to openings in different sizes and structures, which is suitable for different functional scenarios.

Referring to FIG. 1, this embodiment provides a portable tray 1, including a trough 11 and a plurality of clamping assemblies 2. The plurality of clamping assemblies 2 are symmetrically arranged on two sides of the trough 11. The trough 11 is used to place items, and the plurality of clamping assemblies 2 are used to detachably install the tray 1 on the external object.
Preferably, the trough 11 is configured as a rectangular trough.
Further, the bottom surface of the trough 11 is provided with at least one protrusion 111.
Further, the bottom surface of the trough 11 is provided with a plurality of protrusions 111, and the plurality of protrusions 111 are arranged in a matrix.
In this embodiment, protrusions 111 are arranged in a matrix, divided into three rows, with four protrusions in each row. The trough 11 includes a trough side wall 112. The trough side wall 112 can support a mobile phone or other portable electronic device together with any one of the protrusions 111 or any two adjacent protrusions 111 and can also allow mobile phones and other electronic devices to be placed stably on the tray at more angles.
Preferably, each clamping assembly 2 includes a first clamping component 21 extending downward from the edge of the tray 1. A clamping groove 23 is formed between the first clamping component 21 and the trough side wall 112. Tray 1 can be fixed to the external object through the clamping groove 23.
Understandably, tray 1 can be fixed to the opening of a beach bag 3, a handbag or other portable container without limiting the fixed object.
Referring to FIG. 2, the present embodiment is described by taking a beach bag 3 as an example. Beach bag 3 includes a base wall 31 and a beach bag side wall 32 extending upwardly along the base wall 31. The width of the clamping groove 23 is equal to the width of the beach bag side wall 32, so that the clamping groove 23 can be clamped with a top end of the beach bag side wall 32. At the same time, the trough 11 is inserted into an interior of the beach bag 3, so that the top end of the tray 1 is at the same level as the opening of the beach bag 3. Therefore, the objects placed in the trough 11 are not easy to slip out of the beach bag opening.
Specifically, the plurality of clamping assemblies 2 on the two sides of the trough 11 can be clamped with the top ends of two oppositely arranged beach bag side walls 32 to form a relatively stable clamping relationship.
Further, each clamping assembly 2 also includes a second clamping component 22 extending toward the clamping groove 23. And the second clamping component 22 is tightly attached to the trough side wall 112.
It should be particularly noted that tray 1 and the beach bag 3 are both made of flexible material. In the present embodiment, tray 1 and the beach bag 3 are both made of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate foam material. After the second clamping component 22 is provided, the width of the clamping groove 23 is slightly smaller than the width of the beach bag side wall 32. The user needs to apply a certain force to squeeze the beach bag side wall 32 into the clamping groove 23 to form a tight clamping assembly 2, so that the tray 1 will not loosen during carrying and moving.
In this embodiment, one side wall of the trough 11 is provided with two groups of clamping assemblies 2 in a way of interval to form two clamping points with the top end of the beach bag side wall 32.
Further, the first clamping component 21 is provided with a notch 211.
Specifically, the beach bag 3 is provided with a rotatable handle 33. Notch 211 is arranged on one side of the first clamping component 21 close to the handle 33.
