Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to construction implements, more specifically but not by way of limitation, a form that is employed to seal a side of a hole present in an existing wall wherein the form is movable between a collapsed position and a deployed position facilitating an ability for the form to be passed through the hole in the wall and then provide sealing thereof in its deployed position.

BACKGROUND

As is known in the art, walls such as concrete walls are manufactured from concrete in its pourable state wherein the concrete is poured into forms and subsequently will cure and create a solid wall. Once concrete walls are poured there are occasions whether executing a repair or installation of an object that a hole becomes present in the wall. While some holes can be filled with alternate materials such as but not limited foam, other holes need to be backfilled with concrete for structural or other reasons.

An issue exists when attempting to backfill a hole in a concrete wall wherein one side of the concrete wall cannot be accessed. As concrete and similar materials need forms to close openings and the like, individuals are unable to pour concrete into holes where the opposing side cannot be blocked and or sealed of so as to facilitate an ability to fill the hole with concrete. No form exists that allows a form to be journaled through a hole and then oriented in such a manner wherein the form provides the needed blockage of the hole.

Accordingly, there is a need for a concrete form that is configured to be movable between a collapsed position and a deployed position so as to facilitate an ability for the form to be journaled through a hole then provide sealing of an opening thereof.
