The present application claims priority to, and the benefit of, U.S. Provisional Application No. 63/690,850, which was filed on Sep. 5, 2024, and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to the field of cigar enjoyment devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a glass cigar holder that allows users to smoke the end of the cigar without burning their fingers or lips. Accordingly, this disclosure makes specific reference thereto the present invention. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices and methods of manufacture.

BACKGROUND

By way of background, this invention relates to improvements in cigar enjoyment devices, which aim to enhance the overall smoking experience for cigar enthusiasts. Cigar smoking is a popular and often expensive hobby that many people take pleasure in, particularly for its rich flavors and relaxing properties. However, one of the common challenges that cigar smokers face is the inability to smoke the entire length of the cigar, especially as it burns down to the last few inches. When a cigar reaches this stage, it becomes difficult to hold without risking burns to the fingers or lips. The proximity of the heat to the user's hands and mouth can lead to discomfort, burns, and in some cases, an unpleasant taste as the cigar heats up further. As a result, many cigar smokers are forced to extinguish the cigar before it is fully consumed, leading to a partial waste of what can be a costly indulgence.

In addition to the physical discomfort, holding a small nub of a cigar often leaves a strong, lingering odor on the hands, which may be undesirable for many users. Furthermore, maintaining a secure grip on a small cigar nub can be difficult, especially as the cigar loses structural integrity and becomes more fragile. This contributes to the overall challenge of smoking a cigar to completion and detracts from the enjoyment of the experience. Given the high cost of premium cigars, wasting the last portion of a cigar can be frustrating for aficionados who want to maximize their enjoyment and value. Thus, there is a need for a device that addresses these issues and allows for the entire cigar to be smoked without the associated drawbacks of discomfort, waste, and inconvenience.

Therefore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a cigar enjoyment device that provides users with a glass holder for people to enjoy the last part of a cigar before it burns the fingers and lips. There is also a long-felt need in the art for a cigar enjoyment device that features a decorative design with a simple mouthpiece for smoking the cigar when it is placed inside the holder. Further, there is a long-felt need in the art for a cigar enjoyment device that eliminates the need to hold the remaining few inches of a cigar by hand and risk burns and unwanted odors on the hands. Finally, there is a long-felt need in the art for a cigar enjoyment device that offers multiple colors, styles, and device designs for people to customize its look, adding to the aesthetics and enjoyment of cigar smoking.

The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a cigar enjoyment device. The device is a holder for the smoking end of a cigar to prevent the burning of the fingers and lips. The cigar enjoyment device comprises a body component that is configured in a cylindrical shape with an internal cavity designed to retain a cigar. On the opposite end of the device is a mouthpiece with a hole connected to the internal cavity of the body component. Thus, once a cigar is too small to be held in the hand, it can be placed in the device and a user can consume the entirety of the cigar without burning themselves.

In this manner, the cigar enjoyment device of the present invention accomplishes all of the forgoing objectives and provides users with a device that allows for the complete consumption of cigars without burning the hands or lips.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The following presents a simplified summary in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the disclosed innovation. This summary is not an extensive overview, and it is not intended to identify key/critical elements or to delineate the scope thereof. Its sole purpose is to present some general concepts in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.

The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a cigar enjoyment device. The device is a holder for the smoking end of a cigar to prevent the burning of the fingers and lips. The cigar enjoyment device comprises a body component that is configured in a cylindrical shape with an internal cavity designed to retain a cigar. On the opposite end of the device is a mouthpiece with a hole connected to the internal cavity of the body component. Thus, once a cigar is too small to be held in the hand, it can be placed in the device and a user can consume the entirety of the cigar without burning themselves.

In one embodiment, the cigar enjoyment device comprises a body component. The body component is typically configured in a cylindrical shape but can be configured in any suitable shape as is known in the art. Generally, the body component comprises a cylindrical internal cavity that is meant to retain a cigar.

In one embodiment, the cigar enjoyment device comprises a mouthpiece on the opposite end of the body component. Typically, the mouthpiece features a hole that is connected to the internal cavity of the body component, allowing the user to smoke the remainder of a cigar through the mouthpiece.

In one embodiment, the cigar enjoyment device in accordance with the present invention can be produced in various colors, designs, patterns, etc., and feature logos, emblems, and or designs, such as a distributor requests and/or a user desires.

In one embodiment, the cigar enjoyment device is manufactured of glass, or any other suitable materials as is known in the art. Any number of different types of materials can be used to make the cigar enjoyment device including but not limited to plastics, metals, etc.

In use, the user smokes a cigar until it is too small to hold in the hands. The user can then insert the remainder of the cigar into the internal cavity of the body component. Finally, the user can utilize the cigar enjoyment device to smoke the remainder of the cigar via the mouthpiece. Thus, once a cigar is too small to be held in the hand, it can be placed in the device and a user can consume the entirety of the cigar without burning themselves.

It will also be appreciated that there are a number of additional add-on features that can be incorporated into the device and moreover, the cigar enjoyment device can take many different forms as is known in the art.

In yet another embodiment, the cigar enjoyment device comprises a plurality of indicia.

In yet another embodiment, a method of entirely consuming a cigar using the cigar enjoyment device. The method includes the steps of providing a cigar enjoyment device comprising a body component and mouthpiece. The method also comprises smoking a cigar until it is no longer possible to hold it in the hands. Further, the method comprises inserting the remainder of the cigar into the internal cavity of the body component. Finally, the method comprises utilizing the device to smoke the remainder of the cigar through the hole in the mouthpiece.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

The innovation is now described with reference to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals are used to refer to like elements throughout. In the following description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding thereof. It may be evident, however, that the innovation can be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in block diagram form in order to facilitate a description thereof. Various embodiments are discussed hereinafter. It should be noted that the figures are described only to facilitate the description of the embodiments. They are not intended as an exhaustive description of the invention and do not limit the scope of the invention. Additionally, an illustrated embodiment need not have all the aspects or advantages shown. Thus, in other embodiments, any of the features described herein from different embodiments may be combined.

As noted above, there is a long-felt need in the art for a cigar enjoyment device that provides users with a glass holder for people to enjoy the last part of a cigar before it burns the fingers and lips. There is also a long-felt need in the art for a cigar enjoyment device that features a decorative design with a simple mouthpiece for smoking the cigar when it is placed inside the holder. Further, there is a long-felt need in the art for a cigar enjoyment device that eliminates the need to hold the remaining few inches of a cigar by hand and risk burns and unwanted odors on the hands. Finally, there is a long-felt need in the art for a cigar enjoyment device that offers multiple colors, styles, and device designs for people to customize its look, adding to the aesthetics and enjoyment of cigar smoking.

The present invention, in one exemplary embodiment, is a novel cigar enjoyment device for smoking cigars that are too small to hold in the hands without injury. The cigar enjoyment device comprises a body component that is configured in a cylindrical shape. The body component features an internal cavity used to retain a cigar. On the opposite end of the body component is a mouthpiece that features a hole that is connected to the internal cavity of the body component. Thus, once a cigar is too small to be held in the hand, it can be placed in the device and a user can consume the entirety of the cigar without burning themselves. The present invention also includes a novel method of entirely consuming a cigar using the cigar enjoyment device. The method includes the steps of providing a cigar enjoyment device comprising a body component and mouthpiece. The method also comprises smoking a cigar until it is no longer possible to hold it in the hands. Further, the method comprises inserting the remainder of the cigar into the internal cavity of the body component. Finally, the method comprises utilizing the device to smoke the remainder of the cigar through the hole in the mouthpiece.

Referring initially to the drawings, FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of one embodiment of the cigar enjoyment device 100 of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the cigar enjoyment device 100 can be used as a holder for the smoking end of a cigar 200 to prevent the burning of the user's fingers and lips.

The cigar enjoyment device 100 comprises a body component 110 that is preferably made from a glass or other non-heating conducting material. The body 110 is preferably a cylindrical shape with a cylindrical and/or tapered internal cavity 112 designed to receive and retain at least one cigar 200. The device 100 is also comprised of mouthpiece 120 of any style and configuration. The mouthpiece 120 may be made from the same or differing material as the body 110. The mouthpiece 120 is comprised of at least one hole 122 connected to the internal cavity 112 of the body component 110. Thus, once a cigar 200 is too small to be held in the hand, the cigar 200 can be placed in the device 100 and a user 300 can consume the entirety of the cigar 200 without burning themselves through the mouthpiece 120.

As shown in FIG. 2, the cigar enjoyment device 100 comprises a body component 110. The body component 110 is typically configured in a cylindrical shape but can be configured in any suitable shape as is known in the art. Typically, the body component 110 comprises an internal cavity 112 that is used to retain a cigar 200.

Further, the cigar enjoyment device 100 also comprises a mouthpiece 120 on the opposite end of the body component 110. Typically, the mouthpiece 120 features a hole 122 that is connected to the internal cavity 112 of the body component, allowing the user 300 to smoke the remainder of a cigar 200 through the mouthpiece 120.

As shown in FIG. 2, in use, the user 300 smokes a cigar 200 until it is too small to hold in the hands. The user 300 can then insert the remainder of the cigar 200 into the internal cavity 112 of the body component 110. Finally, the user 300 can utilize the cigar enjoyment device 100 to smoke the remainder of the cigar 200 via the mouthpiece 120. Thus, once a cigar 200 is too small to be held in the hand, it can be placed in the device 100 and a user 300 can consume the entirety of the cigar 200 without burning themselves.

As shown in FIGS. 3, 4, and 5, the cigar enjoyment device 100 in accordance with the present invention can be produced in various colors, designs, patterns, etc., and feature logos, emblems and or designs, such as a distributor requests and/or a user 300 desires.

In one embodiment, the cigar enjoyment device 100 is manufactured of glass, or any other suitable materials as is known in the art. Any number of different types of materials can be used to make the cigar enjoyment device 100 including but not limited to, heat-sealable plastic or polymers, such as polypropylene or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), or any other suitable material as is known in the art, such as but not limited to, acrylic, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, etc.

In yet another embodiment, the cigar enjoyment device 100 comprises a plurality of indicia 500. The body component 110 of the device 100 may include advertising, a trademark, or other letters, designs, or characters, printed, painted, stamped, or integrated into the body component 110, or any other indicia 500 as is known in the art. Specifically, any suitable indicia 500 as is known in the art can be included, such as but not limited to, patterns, logos, emblems, images, symbols, designs, letters, words, characters, animals, advertisements, brands, etc., that may or may not be smoking, cigar, or brand related.

It will also be appreciated that there are a number of additional add-on features that can be incorporated into the device 100 and moreover, the cigar enjoyment device 100 can take many different forms as is known in the art.

In one embodiment, the body 110 is comprised of a lanyard 130 that allows the device 100 to be retained around a user's neck. In a different embodiment, the body 110 is comprised of a belt clip 140 to allow the device 100 to be clipped to a pocket, a pant, etc.

FIG. 6 illustrates a flowchart of the method 400 of entirely consuming a cigar using the cigar enjoyment device. The method 400 includes the steps of at 401, providing a cigar enjoyment device 100 comprising a body component 110 and mouthpiece 120. The method 400 also comprises at 402, smoking a cigar 200 until it is no longer possible to hold it in the hands. Further, the method comprises at 403, inserting the remainder of the cigar 200 into the internal cavity 112 of the body component 110. Finally, the method 400 comprises at 404, utilizing the device 100 to smoke the remainder of the cigar 200 through the hole 122 in the mouthpiece 120.

Certain terms are used throughout the following description and claims to refer to particular features or components. As one skilled in the art will appreciate, different users may refer to the same feature or component by different names. This document does not intend to distinguish between components or features that differ in name but not structure or function. As used herein “cigar enjoyment device”, “cigar holding device”, “holding device”, and “device” are interchangeable and refer to the cigar enjoyment device 100 of the present invention.

Notwithstanding the forgoing, the cigar enjoyment device 100 of the present invention can be of any suitable size and configuration as is known in the art without affecting the overall concept of the invention, provided that it accomplishes the above-stated objectives. One of ordinary skill in the art will appreciate that the cigar enjoyment device 100 as shown in FIGS. 1-5 is for illustrative purposes only, and that many other sizes and shapes of the cigar enjoyment device 100 are well within the scope of the present disclosure. Although the dimensions of the cigar enjoyment device 100 are important design parameters for user convenience, the cigar enjoyment device 100 may be of any size that ensures optimal performance during use and/or that suits the user's needs and/or preferences.

Various modifications and additions can be made to the exemplary embodiments discussed without departing from the scope of the present invention. While the embodiments described above refer to particular features, the scope of this invention also includes embodiments having different combinations of features and embodiments that do not include all of the described features. Accordingly, the scope of the present invention is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications, and variations as fall within the scope of the claims, together with all equivalents thereof.

Furthermore, to the extent that the term “includes” is used in either the detailed description or the claims, such term is intended to be inclusive in a manner similar to the term “comprising” as “comprising” is interpreted when employed as a transitional word in a claim.
