FIELD

The Amazing Interchangeable Shoe allows you to change shoe color, design and styles without having to buy another shoe.

BACKGROUND

This section provides background information related to the present disclosure which is not necessarily prior art.

The trials and tribulations of finding a shoe that fits just right can at times be difficult. Although shoes are universally arranged by sizes, some shoes depending on the manufacturer, maker, product, style, model, or brand may fit differently, depending upon the individual's feet. So, when we find that just-right fit shoe, it is amazing. However, when we need another color or style, then, we must pay for another shoe, which can become expensive along with the trials and tribulations of finding that just-right fit shoe again.

The Amazing Interchangeable Shoe decreases the expenses of having to purchase another shoe if you want to change colors or style. Also, The Amazing Interchangeable Shoe decreases the time expended on the trials and tribulations of finding that just-right fit shoe.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a shoe includes a master shoe having a sole and a master vamp; and at least one interchangeable vamp that is secured over the master vamp.

According to a further aspect, the at least one interchangeable vamp includes a plurality of interchangeable vamps, each having a different appearance.

According to a further aspect, the at least one interchangeable vamp includes at least one first connecting feature for connection with at least one second connecting feature extending along an interface between the sole and the vamp.

According to a further aspect, the at least one first connecting feature includes one of an elastic band, a chord or a wire.

According to a further aspect, the at least one second connecting feature includes a groove.

According to a further aspect, the at least one first connecting feature and the at least one second connecting feature each include one of a snap portion or a hook and loop portion.

According to a further aspect, the at least one interchangeable vamp is made from a stretchable fabric.

According to a further aspect, the master shoe is a high-heel style shoe.

According to a further aspect, the master shoe is a flat style shoe.

According to a further aspect, the master shoe is an open toe-style shoe.

According to a further aspect, the master shoe is an open toe and open heel style shoe.

According to a further aspect, the at least one interchangeable vamp includes a flap portion that is secured within an opening of the master shoe.

According to a further aspect, the flap portion includes a fastening strip that is secured inside the opening of the master shoe.

According to a further aspect, the fastening strip includes a hook and loop style fastener.

According to another aspect an interchangeable shoe includes a master shoe having a sole and a master vamp; and a plurality of interchangeable vamps that are configured to be interchangeably secured over the master vamp.

According to a further aspect, each of the plurality of interchangeable vamps include at least one first connecting feature for connection with at least one second connecting feature extending along an interface between the sole and the vamp.

According to a further aspect, the at least one first connecting feature includes one of an elastic band, a chord or a wire and the at least one second connecting feature includes a groove.

According to a further aspect, the at least one interchangeable vamp includes a flap portion that is secured within an opening of the master shoe.

According to a further aspect, the flap portion includes a fastening strip that is secured inside the opening of the master shoe.

According to a further aspect, the plurality of interchangeable vamps are made from a stretchable fabric.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Example embodiments will now be described more fully with reference to the accompanying drawings.

With reference to FIG. 1 an interchangeable shoe 10 includes a master shoe 12 is shown including a sole 14 and a master vamp 16 fixed to the sole 14. A “vamp” is known in the shoe art as the portion of the shoe that goes over the foot. The master vamp 16 can include a toe end 16a, a heal end 16b and a body portion 16c extending between the toe end 16a and the heel end 16b. The master vamp 16 can be sewn, molded or otherwise adhered to the sole 14. The master vamp 16 can be made from leather, plastic, Textiles (denim, canvas or other fabric), suede, Polyurethane, rubber etc. and/or combinations thereof. The sole 14 can be made from leather, rubber plastic, or other known synthetic or natural sole materials and combinations thereof. The master vamp 16 and/or the sole 14 can include a connecting feature or features 18 that extends along the interface between the master vamp 16 and the sole 14. The interchangeable shoe 10 includes a number of interchangeable vamps 20a, 20b that can come in various colors, designs and/or materials. Two interchangeable vamps 20a, 20b are shown.

Each of the interchangeable vamps 20a, 20b securely fit superiorly on the master vamp 16 of the master shoe 12. Each of the interchangeable vamps 20a, 20b can include a connecting feature or features 22 for engaging with the connecting feature or features 18. The connecting feature or features 18 of the master shoe 12 can include a recessed groove and the connecting feature or features 22 of the interchangeable vamps 20a, 20b can include an elastic band, a wire or chord that can be received in a pocket that extends around the entire camp and is received in the recessed groove of the master shoe 12. If an elastic band 22 is used the elasticity of the band can secure the band within the groove 18. If a wire or chord is used, the wire or chord can be snap fit within the groove 18. Alternatively, the connecting features 18 can include loops or hooks, snaps, or other fastening mechanisms that can engage the interchangeable vamps 20a, 20b to the master shoe 12. FIG. 2 shows a high heel style shoe 112 with an interchangeable vamp 120 that includes loops 118 and hooks 122 for fastening the interchangeable vamp to the master shoe 112. FIG. 2 shows an open toe, open heel style shoe 212 with an interchangeable vamp 220 that includes male and female snaps 218, 222 for fastening the interchangeable vamp 220 to the master shoe 212. A combination of different connecting features can also be used. The interchangeable vamps 20a, 20b can be made from leather, plastic, Textiles (denim, canvas, stretchable fabric), suede, Polyurethane, rubber etc. and/or combinations thereof.

Each of the interchangeable vamps can include a flap portion 24 that can fold over into the opening of the master vamp 16 and can be secured to an inner surface of the master vamp 16. The interior of the master shoe 12, 112, 212 can include mating fastening strips 26a, 26b such as Velcro (hook and loop style fastener) or tape for securing the flap portion 24 within the opening of the master shoe 12, 112, 212 to further bind the interchangeable vamps 20a, 20b to the master shoe 12, and helps to cover up any visibility of the master shoe vamp 16 which results in changing the color or design of the shoe. The flap portion 24 not only binds around the master vamp 16, but also travels over the master vamp 16 and binds inside the inner walls of the master vamp 16, which helps support stability of the interchangeable vamp 20a, 20b to the master vamp 16.
