Abstract:

A detachable and foldable game board includes a board and a box. A plurality of creases is provided and spaced equidistantly on the board along a transverse direction thereof. Two ends of the board are respectively provided with a left side strip and a right side strip which are separated by the creases. The left side strip, the board and the right side strip are foldable along the creases. The right side strip is detachably connected to the box by a connection mechanism. A top portion of the box is recessed to form a certain number of accommodating cavities, and there is at least one accommodating cavity. CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

The present application claims the benefit of Chinese Patent Application No. 202422306064.6 filed on Sep. 20, 2024, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present application belongs to the technical field of game boards, specifically a detachable and foldable game board.

BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY

A game board is one of the three elements of a board game (game board, game pieces, and rules), and it is necessary to ensure that the board game can proceed. Game boards can be primarily categorized into game boards where game pieces are placed at the intersections of lines, such as in Chinese chess game, Go game, five-in-a-row game, military game, and backgammon game; and game boards where game pieces are placed within the squares, such as in International chess game and Othello game, etc.

The existing game board may be of a hard material. The entire board is packed in a box, and is taken out when it is to be used. The board is large in size and inconvenient to carry. The entire game board may be of a soft material. It can be rolled up or folded when not in use, and it is opened when in use. However, the entire game board is uneven after it is opened, and the edges will automatically roll back. It is inconvenient to use, and it is easy to spread out during storage. It cannot meet the increasing needs of users.

SUMMARY OF THE APPLICATION

In order to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art, the present application aims to provide a detachable and foldable game board.

The present application adopts the following technical scheme: a detachable and foldable game board, including a board and a box, wherein a plurality of creases is provided and spaced equidistantly on the board along a transverse direction thereof. Two ends of the board are respectively provided with a left side strip and a right side strip which are separated by the creases. The left side strip, the board and the right side strip are foldable along the creases. The right side strip is detachably connected to the box by a connection mechanism.

In a preferred embodiment, a top portion of the box is recessed to form a certain number of accommodating cavities, and there is at least one accommodating cavity.

In a preferred embodiment, the connection mechanism includes upper magnets and lower magnets. The upper magnets are a plurality of upper magnets that are equidistantly distributed on a bottom of the box along a longitudinal direction thereof, and the lower magnets are a plurality of lower magnets that are provided on the right side strip. The lower magnets are magnetically connected to the upper magnets in one-to-one correspondence.

In a preferred embodiment, a middle portion of a top surface of the board is provided with a face of the board that satisfies playing of games.

In a preferred embodiment, an elastic tightening band is provided on the left side strip along a longitudinal direction thereof. When the board is folded, the left side strip and the right side strip are respectively disposed at an upper side and a lower side of the box, and the elastic tightening band is stretched and pressed against the right side strip.

In a preferred embodiment, the box is a rectangular structure having a hollowed-out upper end portion. When the board is folded, the board covers and seals the accommodating cavity.

In a preferred embodiment, a blank region on the top surface of the board other than the face of the board is further provided with a decorative layer.

In a preferred embodiment, a bottom of the left side strip, the board and the right side strip are all provided with an anti-slip texture.

To sum up, due to the adoption of above-mentioned technical scheme, the beneficial effects of the present application are that:

    • 1. In the present application, a plurality of creases are arranged equidistantly on the game board. The board can be folded up and stored in combination with a box. The overall size can be greatly reduced, and it is convenient to carry. In addition, an elastic tightening band is provided on one side of the board. The entire board and box can be wrapped together by the elastic tightening band for storage, so that it will not fall apart and can be more securely stored.
    • 2. In the present application, the box is designed to be detachably connected to the board. The box can be mounted on the board or detached from the board according to actual use. After the board is folded and stored, the board can also cover the box to avoid the loss of game pieces or other items inside the box.

SPECIFIC EMBODIMENTS

In order to make the purpose, the technical solution and the advantages of the present application more clearly understood, the present application is further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are used only to explain the present application and are not intended to limit the present application.

A detachable and foldable game board, with reference to FIGS. 1-4, includes a board 1 and a box 2, wherein a plurality of creases 101 is provided and spaced equidistantly on the board 1 along a transverse direction thereof. Two ends of the board 1 are respectively provided with a left side strip 3 and a right side strip 5 which are separated by the creases 101. The left side strip 3, the board 1 and the right side strip 5 are foldable along the creases. The plurality of creases 101 are arranged at equal distances on the board 1. The board 1 can be folded up and stored in combination with the box 2, such that the overall size can be greatly reduced. An elastic tightening band 4 is provided on the left side strip 3 along a longitudinal direction thereof. When the board 1 is folded, the left side strip 3 and the right side strip 5 are respectively disposed at an upper side and a lower side of the box 2, and the elastic tightening band 4 is stretched and pressed against the right side strip 5. The board 1 and the box 2 as a whole can be wrapped together by the elastic tightening band 4 for storage. It will not fall apart and the storage is more secure.

Of course, the board 1 and the box 2 may also be fastened by a strap with a buckle. No limitation is made herein.

Further, the right side strip 5 can be detachably connected to the box 2 by a connection mechanism, so that it is convenient to carry. The connection mechanism may include upper magnets 202 and lower magnets 501. The upper magnets 202 can be a plurality of upper magnets that are equidistantly distributed on a bottom of the box 2 along a longitudinal direction thereof, and the lower magnets 501 can be a plurality of lower magnets that are provided on the right side strip 5. The lower magnets 501 are magnetically connected to the upper magnets 202 in one-to-one correspondence. The box 2 is so designed that it can be detachably connected to the board 1. According to actual use, the box 2 can be mounted on the board 1 or it can be detached from the board 1. The two adopt a magnetic connection scheme, which is convenient for the combined use of the board 1 and the box 2.

Of course, the right side strip 5 and the box 2 may also be attached by male and female Velcro. No limitation is made herein.

Further, a top portion of the box 2 is recessed to form a certain number of accommodating cavities 201, and there is at least one accommodating cavity 201. Game pieces and dice, etc. can be placed in the accommodating cavity 201. Of course, there may be a plurality of accommodating cavities 201. When there is a plurality of accommodating cavities 201, two accommodating cavities 201 are separated by a partition. Different game pieces or other items can be placed in different accommodating cavities 201.

Further, a middle portion of the top surface of the board 1 is provided with a face 102 of the board that satisfies the playing of games. The face 102 of the board can be the face of an International chess game board, the face of a backgammon game board, the face of a military game board, the face of a five-in-a-row game board, the face of a checker game board, the face of a Chinese chess game board, etc. No limitation is made herein.

Further, the box 2 can be a rectangular structure having a hollowed-out upper end portion. When the board 1 is folded, the board 1 covers and seals the accommodating cavities 201. After folding for storage, the box 2 can play an auxiliary manufacturing role of the board 1. Secondly, the board 1 can also cover and seal the box 2, so as to avoid the situation where the game pieces or other items inside the box 2 are lost.

Further, a blank region on the top surface of the board 1 other than the face 102 of the board is further provided with a decorative layer.

Further, the bottom of the left side strip 3, the board 1 and the right side strip 5 are all provided with an anti-slip texture. Of course, an anti-slip material may also be used to replace the anti-skid texture (not shown in the figure). In addition, a weight plate (not shown in the figure) can also be added inside the left side strip 3 and the right side strip 5.

In addition, the left and right position of the left side strip 3 and the right side strip 5 of the board can be changed at the time of production according to user's usage habits. No limitation is made herein.

Among them, the board 1 can be made of leather, cloth, plastic or other materials. The box 2 can be made of plastic or other materials. No limitation on these are made herein.

Any modifications, equivalent substitutions and improvements, etc. made within the spirit and principles of the present application shall be included in the scope of protection of the present application.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. A detachable and foldable game board, characterized by comprising: a board and a box, wherein a plurality of creases is provided and spaced equidistantly on the board along a transverse direction thereof, two ends of the board are respectively provided with a left side strip and a right side strip which are separated by the creases; the left side strip, the board and the right side strip are foldable along the creases; and the right side strip is detachably connected to the box by a connection mechanism.

2. The detachable and foldable game board as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that: a top portion of the box is recessed to form a certain number of accommodating cavities, and there is at least one accommodating cavity.

3. The detachable and foldable game board as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that:

the connection mechanism comprises upper magnets and lower magnets, the upper magnets are a plurality of upper magnets that are equidistantly distributed on a bottom of the box along a longitudinal direction thereof, the lower magnets are a plurality of lower magnets that are provided on the right side strip, and the lower magnets are magnetically connected to the upper magnets in one-to-one correspondence.

4. The detachable and foldable game board as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that: a middle portion of a top surface of the board is provided with a face of the board that satisfies playing of games.

The detachable and foldable game board as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that: an elastic tightening band is provided on the left side strip along a longitudinal direction thereof, when the board is folded, the left side strip and the right side strip are respectively disposed at an upper side and a lower side of the box, and the elastic tightening band is stretched and pressed against the right side strip.

6. The detachable and foldable game board as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that:

the box is a rectangular structure having a hollowed-out upper end portion, when the board is folded, the board covers and seals the accommodating cavity.

7. The detachable and foldable game board as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that: a blank region on the top surface of the board other than the face of the board is further provided with a decorative layer.

8. The detachable and foldable game board as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that: a bottom of the left side strip, the board and the right side strip are all provided with an anti-slip texture.
