Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a safe guard zipper bag, and more particularly, to a safe guard zipper bag that is easily opened by a simple operation but is difficult to be opened from the outside.

BACKGROUND ART

In general, a zipper bag that is a packaging bag with a zipper including male and female coupling parts at an opening thereof refers to daily supplies capable of effectively protecting contents from external environment by storing a product therein and locking the zipper to maintain sealing.

The zipper bag is extremely useful for storing food that requires freshness and cleanliness or for storing liquid that is easily leaked. In addition, a self-standable pouch or flat bag with a zipper capable of opening and closing an opening thereof is also known.

The zipper mounted to the above-described bag includes a male track (male zipper) and a female track (female zipper), which may be coupled to each other.

The male track and the female track are disposed on inner surfaces of a pair of face members of a main body of the bag, respectively, to face each other and each extend in a horizontal direction of the main body of the bag. Since the zipper generally extends over an entire horizontal direction of the main body of the bag, the main body of the bag is opened over the entire area in the horizontal direction when the zipper is opened.

However, the zipper bag is required not to be easily opened from the outside depending on contents stored therein. Particularly, when contents that are not allowed to be accessed by children or infants are stored in the zipper bag, there is a safety issue.

Although some zipper bags are designed with double or triple zippers in consideration of the safety issue, the structure is still opened easily when applying additional force. In recent years, although a zipper bag with a safety lock is commercially available, the zipper bag improves safety but has an issue of inconvenience and increased costs.

Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0440413 discloses a multiple vinyl zipper bag. However, this invention is focused on efficiency of storage space rather than on safety.

The present applicant filed for a patent for a safe guard zipper bag, which is approved as Korean Patent Registration No. 10-2058080, to solve the above-described issue.

Although the safe guard zipper bag disclosed in Korean Patent Registration No. 10-2058080 is excellent in terms of efficiency, the safe guard zipper bag requires an improvement toward a more simple structure.

Note that the same or similar components in the drawings are designated by the same reference numerals as far as possible even if they are shown in different drawings. In the following description of the present invention, a detailed description of known functions and configurations incorporated herein will be omitted to avoid making the subject matter of the present invention unclear.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a safe guard zipper bag according to the present invention.

The zipper bag may be generally made of a vinyl sheet, and the vinyl sheet may use a slightly thick and tough material to form a zipper with a slightly bulky property at an opening of a pouch.

The term “vinyl” used in the present invention is not a scientific term but a generally used term for a synthetic resin film, including not only vinyl resins with vinyl groups but also synthetic resin film products such as a polyethylene film, which are commonly used in vinyl bags, vinyl greenhouses, and other transparent materials that transmit sunlight.

A safe guard zipper bag 10 according to the present invention may include a zipper 17 disposed at an upper portion of a synthetic resin main body and including male and female coupling members 20 and 30 that are engaged with each other.

In the zipper bag 10, a peripheral portion 11 including a left portion 11a, a right portion 11b, a lower portion 11c, and an upper portion 11d may be sealed on four sides through thermal bonding.

The zipper 17 including the male and female coupling members 20 and 30 may be formed below the upper sealed portion 11d of the peripheral portion 11 that is sealed on the four sides, and an opening 12 for cutting and opening may be disposed between the peripheral portion 11 and the zipper 17 to prevent foreign substances from being introduced into the zipper bag 10.

Also, a cutting groove 13 having a V-shape may be formed at one side of the opening 12 of the zipper bag 10, and an opening indication line 14 is printed horizontally from the cutting groove 13. Thus, the zipper bag 10 may be opened by applying force to the cutting groove 13 when opening the bag.

The upper sealed portion 11d in the peripheral portion 11, which has the four sealed sides, of the zipper bag 10 may have a width greater than that of each of the left, right, and lower sealed portions 11a, 11b and 11c, and a hanging hole 15 for hanging the bag on a hook of a display rack or as a handle is defined in a middle portion of the upper sealed portion 11d.

An opening member 16 for allowing the zipper 20 to be easily opened may be formed at one side of the zipper 20.

In general, the zipper of the vinyl zipper bag is easily opened in an opening direction (an upward direction of the zipper 20 in the drawing) and is not easily opened in an inward direction (a direction opposite to the opening direction based on the zipper 20) in which contents are contained.

To this end, the male and female coupling members of the zipper are required to have different shapes.

That is, the female coupling member of the zipper may include a pair of locking portions. Here, one of the locking portions may have a shape bent toward a hook portion of the make coupling member, and the locking portion in the opening direction may have an inclined surface formed in a direction away from the hook portion of the male coupling member.

However, according to the present invention, the male and female coupling members of the zipper are set to a direction opposite to that of a typical zipper, so that the zipper is not easily opened in the opening direction. Thus, children may not easily open the zipper.

Here, since the zipper bag is not easily opened when holding and pulling both sides of the zipper bag in both directions from the opening direction for opening, an opening member 16 is further provided as an auxiliary unit for opening.

In order to open the zipper, a user may insert a finger or tool into the opening member 16 formed at one side of the zipper 17 and then pull the zipper 17 to both sides for separation.

The opening member 16 is a portion from which a function as a zipper is lost by applying a predetermined pressure thereto in the female coupling member or (and) the male coupling member. Since the opening member 16 is disposed inside the opening portion 12 of the zipper bag 10, children may not easily find the opening member 16. Thus, the zipper bag 10 according to the present invention may not be substantially released by using only the zipper 17.

A structure of the zipper 17 will be described further with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4, and a structure of the opening member 16 will be described further with reference to FIG. 5.

FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a first example of portion A in FIG. 1.

Referring to FIG. 2, the zipper 17 according to an embodiment of the present invention has a band shape extending in one direction and is used for opening and closing the zipper bag 10.

The zipper 17 includes the male coupling member 20 and the female coupling member 30.

In the drawing, an upward direction represents an outward direction in which the zipper is opened, and a downward direction represents an inward direction in which contents are stored.

The male coupling member 20 includes a first support portion 21, a protrusion portion 22, and a head portion 23.

The first support portion 21 having a band shape extending in one direction is attached to the inside of the zipper bag 10 and supports the protrusion portion 22.

The protrusion portion 22 protrudes vertically from the first support portion 21 and extends in one direction as with the first support portion 21.

An end of the protrusion portion expands to both sides to form the head portion 23.

The head portion 23 serves as a component inserted into the female coupling member 30 to couple the male coupling member 20 with the female coupling member 30. The head portion 23 includes a first locking portion 24 and a second locking portion 25, which protrude to both ends, respectively.

The female coupling member 30 includes a second support portion 31, a first side wall 32, and a second side wall 33.

The second support portion 31 having a band shape extending in parallel in the same direction as the first support portion 21 is attached to the inside of the zipper bag 10 and supports the first side wall 32 and the second side wall 33.

The first side wall 32 and the second side wall 33 each protrude from the second support portion 31 and extend in parallel in the same direction as the second support portion 31 to form an accommodation groove 36 in which the head portion 23 of the male coupling member 20 is accommodated in a center thereof.

Ends of the first side wall 32 and the second side wall 33 are bent into the accommodation groove 36 to form a first hook portion 34 and a second hook portion 35, respectively.

The first hook portion 34 and the second hook portion 35 respectively press both sides of the protrusion portion 22 to seal the male coupling member 20 and the female coupling member 30.

Here, the present invention has an objective to provide a safe guard zipper bag configured to prevent the zipper 17 from being easily opened in the opening direction so that children may not easily open the zipper.

The first hook portion 34 and the second hook portion 35 are caught by the first locking portion 24 and the second locking portion 25 of the head portion 23, respectively, to couple the male coupling member 20 with the female coupling member 30.

Here, the first locking portion 24 of the male coupling member 20 protrudes toward the first side wall 32 and is bent toward the first hook portion 34.

On the other hand, the second locking portion 25 protrudes toward the second side wall 33 and has an inclined surface formed in a direction away from the second hook portion 35.

Also, the second locking portion 25 may have a width less than that of the first locking portion 24 to weaken coupling force.

Thus, while the first hook portion 34 and the second hook portion 35 are formed symmetrically to each other, the first locking portion 24 and the second locking portion 25 are formed asymmetrically to each other to form a structure of improving the coupling force in the opening direction of the zipper bag 10 and opening the zipper bag by using the opening member 16 when opening the zipper bag.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a second example of the portion A in FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a third example of the portion A in FIG. 1.

Each of FIGS. 3 and 4 is the same as FIG. 2 in all aspects except for different shapes of second locking portions 25, 25a and 25b.

In the case of FIG. 2, the second locking portion 25 protrudes toward the second side wall 33 and has an inclined surface formed in a direction away from the second hook portion 35.

On the other hand, in the case of FIG. 3, the second locking portion 25a protrudes toward the second side wall 33 and has a vertical surface by which the second hook portion 35 is hooked to further improve the coupling force in the inward direction.

Also, in the case of FIG. 4, the second locking portion 25b has the same shape as the first locking portion 24 to protrude toward the second side wall 33 and be bent toward the second hook portion 35, thereby further improving the coupling force in the inward direction.

FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a first example of portion B in FIG. 1, and FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a second example of the portion B in FIG. 1.

FIGS. 5 and 6 are views illustrating a configuration of the opening member 16.

Although the opening member 16 may be disposed at any one side of the zipper 17, the opening member 16 may be disposed at one position among both side surfaces and may have a length of approximately 10 mm.

Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, the opening member 16 may represent a member from which the coupling force of the male and female coupling members 20 and 30 is lost.

Although the male and female coupling members 20 and 30 basically maintain the coupling force, according to the present invention, the coupling force is lost from a predetermined length of the zipper 17, and the portion is used for opening the zipper 17.

That is, unlike the typical zipper, the zipper 17 according to the present invention may be opened by using the opening member 16 from which the coupling force is lost instead of easily opening by strengthening the coupling force in the opening direction among the coupling forces in the opening direction and the inward direction unlike the typical zipper to provide the safe guard zipper bag that prevents children or infants from easily opening the zipper bag.

Referring to FIG. 5, the coupling force of the female coupling member 30 of the opening member 16 may be lost by pressing the first and second hook portions 34 and 35 not to be caught by the first and second locking portions 24 and 25 of the head portion 23.

Referring to FIG. 6, the coupling force of the male coupling member 20 of the opening member 16 may be lost by realizing a shape in which the first and second locking portions 24 and 25 of the head portion 23 are removed.

Alternatively, as illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6, the male coupling member 20 may be formed as in FIG. 6, and the female coupling member 30 may be formed as in FIG. 5 to remove the coupling force of all of the male and female coupling members 20 and 30.

The above-described shape and structure may prevent the zipper bag from being easily opened by an outer opening portion, and this may prevent children and infants from easily opening the zipper bag. Thus, this zipper bag may be used as a safe guard of the vinyl zipper bag for contents that are not allowed to be touched by children or infants, such as detergents.

The present invention, as described in detail above, has been explained based on specific embodiments and drawings. However, the invention is not limited to these, and various modifications and variations can be made within the scope of the technical spirit and equivalent range of the claims of the present invention by those skilled in the art to which the invention pertains.

However, it is obvious that the changes and modifications do not depart from the scope of the claims of the present invention.
