The present invention related generally to a multiple-wall castle bed, which claimed priority to the provisional U.S. Application (Application No. 63/589,622), filed on Oct. 11, 2023.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

This present invention is a multifunctional furniture design that serves both as a sleeping arrangement and a play center. It provides four beds of varying sizes, entertainment features like slides, pole climbing, rock climbing, and crawling activities. Beyond being just furniture, it functions as a game center, adding fun and engagement for children and pets. Additionally, it can serve as a locker, making it a highly versatile piece of furniture for families.

This present invention optimizes space by offering multiple beds in a compact area, ensuring that each child has their own private and independent space for both sleeping and playing. The design is made from standard, easily assembled components, making it convenient for purchase or lease. This flexibility allows families to adapt the furniture to their needs while maximizing space efficiency.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This castle-shaped present invention features a unique design with stairs, where the front side is half stairs and half slide, combining functionality and fun. Each stair hides a drawer-bed behind it, making clever use of space. The drawer-beds are designed to move smoothly using specialized devices, ensuring ease of use.

The present invention is with four various size drawer-beds and each bed has a mattress (the top floor has the mattress too). The mattresses are spread around the present invention as safety pads when children are playing.

In this inventive design, the upper three drawer-beds have bottoms made of braided materials, offering both durability and comfort. The lowest drawer-bed is independent and equipped with universal wheels, allowing it to be easily moved to different positions. When used as a bed, the lowest drawer-bed can be pulled out and turned upside down, transforming it into a functional bed. Additionally, it can be converted into a separate sofa, providing versatile furniture for various uses. This flexibility enhances the multifunctional nature of the invention, combining space-saving, practicality, and comfort.

In the present invention, the adjacent upper and lower drawer-beds are engineered to move in opposite directions. This clever mechanism creates more space for each bed, ensuring that when extended, each bed has a larger, more comfortable sleeping area. This design maximizes available space while maintaining the compact form of the castle structure. It provides a practical solution for families looking to fit multiple beds within a limited space, ensuring comfort and privacy for each user.

Oval-shaped cutouts strategically placed in several components, which enhance the play ability of the structure by allowing children and pets to crawl in and out of these openings. Each hole can be closed either with a door or by using a zipper, providing flexibility to seal off areas for safety, privacy, or to create a den-like environment.

The present invention is designed with various recreational features for children's play, including: Rock climbing, Slide, Downhill pole and Monkey bars, these play features are likely designed to be safe, engaging, and suitable for a variety of ages, turning the structure into a mini playground for children to enjoy.

The present invention includes security doors designed specifically for the safety of little babies. These gates are installed at key access points to prevent babies from accidentally falling from these heights without supervision.

The present invention includes notches on the facades, providing dedicated spaces to place various toys and decorative items such as: military obstacles (toys), totems, weapons (toys) and dolls.

The present invention is equipped with several key devices, enhancing both functionality and comfort: lighting system, stereo system, ventilation system, central locking system, air pump and data processor. The entire electrical system is powered by safe low voltage, ensuring that all devices operate securely and pose no risk to children or pets. This setup provides a fully integrated, safe, and interactive play environment.

The present invention is designed as an assembled structure, meaning all components can be easily put together during installation. Importantly, the largest single component of the structure is sized in such a way that it can freely pass through a normal door. This feature ensures that the invention is easy to transport and install inside standard buildings or rooms without requiring any modifications to doorways or other entry points.

The present invention includes outriggers for stabilizing the structure and preventing it from tipping over. Additionally, it features extension brackets, which are used to hang heavy loads, enhancing the structure's versatility in handling different weight distributions.

DETAILD DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention mainly consists of following components: one main frame10, four drawer-beds (30,40,50,60), outriggers70, extension brackets75, safe gates80 and mattresses90.

The present invention, designed for indoor assembly, ensures that each sub-component is sized to fit through a standard room door for easy transport and installation. This feature is crucial for convenient setup within typical living spaces.

The outer facade of the present invention is equipped with special notches, holes36, or installation node27 that serve a variety of functions. These features allow for the installation and hanging of various accessories and elements, such as: military obstacles (toys), ninja accessories, decorations, etc.

The main frame10 of the present invention is constructed using sturdy materials, ensuring durability and long-term use.

The main frame10 consists of four metal columns11 that provide vertical support, along with four layered rectangular frames12 that offer horizontal stabilization and structural strength.

To enhance mobility, wheels24 are installed beneath the metal columns11, allowing the entire structure to be easily moved within a room. This design feature makes it practical to reposition or rearrange the present invention without difficulty.

The layered rectangular frames12 form a set of stairs15, with each step having a height of 12-16 inches. These steps create a functional and compact staircase, which can be easily climbed.

Positioned beside the stairs is a slide85, adding a playful and convenient feature for quick descent.

Each step of the stairs conceals a drawer-bed, allowing for additional sleeping or storage space. These drawer-beds provide four beds of varying sizes, adding versatility and maximizing space utilization.

Monkey bars18 are installed above the slide85, adding an element of physical activity and fun.

A climbing pole16 is placed in front of the stairs15, offering another way of physical activity and fun.

At the top of the climbing pole16, a lookout17 is built. This lookout serves as a small platform or vantage point where children can enjoy a higher view of their surroundings, adding a sense of adventure and exploration to the design.

Fences14 are built around the perimeter of the top floor22, providing safety and defining the space.

Two towers13 are installed at opposite sides of the top floor22 of the present invention, adding a castle-like feel to the structure. These towers not only enhance the aesthetic but also serve as additional play areas.

Oval-shaped cutouts are strategically placed on the present invention to allow for easy crawling in and out, adding an element of exploration and mobility. These cutouts are located at: The top floor22 of the present invention (hole21), where children and pets can pass through, giving them an additional way to access different areas of the structure.

    • 1. The bottoms of the upper drawer-beds (30, 40, 50), providing secret passages for children to crawl through while playing, making the drawer-beds multi-functional (hole35 as shown in FIG. 4, FIG. 5 and FIG. 6).
    • 2. The front facade of the bottom drawer-bed60 (hole61 as shown in FIG. 7), offering an easily accessible entrance for pets or children to move in and out, blending functionality with play.
    • 3. The front facade21 (hole21) of the third step of the stairs, giving kids the ability to crawl beneath the steps, turning the staircase into a fun and hidden play space.

Above mentioned openings (holes) turn the structure into an interactive environment, perfect for imaginative play and exploration. The cutouts create a dynamic, multi-level experience for both children and pets, enhancing the overall utility and enjoyment of the invention.

Each oval-shaped cutout mentioned earlier can be closed either with a door or a zipper, depending on the desired function:

    • 1. Doors can be installed over the cutouts of hole21 for a more secure closure, allowing areas to be sealed off completely for safety, privacy, or to limit access.
    • 2. Zippers (hole35) provide a flexible alternative, offering a way to temporarily close off areas while still allowing quick access.

The main frame10 of the present invention is equipped with several integrated systems, making the present invention not just a furniture, but a smart, versatile environment:

1. An internal-external lighting system operates on a wired low safety voltage to ensure user safety. This system provides ample lighting for both the interior and exterior of the structure, making it functional even in low-light conditions.
2. A stereo system offers entertainment, allowing music or sounds to play throughout the structure, enhancing the atmosphere for play or relaxation.
3. A ventilation system maintains proper airflow, ensuring the enclosed areas are well-ventilated.
4. A central locking system allows certain sections or compartments to be securely locked, providing safety and control over access to the structure.
5. An air pump is included, possibly for inflating specific components, such as cushions, or maintaining pressure within areas like sealed tents or compartments.
6. Sensors 25 are installed to monitor various aspects, such as movement, temperature, or occupancy, ensuring safety and convenience.
7. A data processor26 manages the inputs from the sensors and other systems, allowing the structure to operate intelligently. For instance, the processor could control the lighting, stereo and ventilation.

The back board29, which serves as the climbing wall, is integrated into the design of the main frame and features rock climbing points27. These points are strategically placed to provide varying levels of difficulty, making the climbing wall suitable for users of different ages and skill levels.

Transmission devices28 are integrated within the main frame10 and are connected to the upper drawer-bed30, drawer-bed40, and drawer-bed50. These devices are designed to facilitate the smooth in-and-out movement of the drawer-beds, allowing users to easily access each bed without the need for heavy lifting or cumbersome maneuvering. The transmission system could utilize mechanisms such as rails, sliders, or gear systems to ensure that the drawer-beds operate seamlessly.

The bottom drawer-bed60 is designed to be separate from the main frame10, providing flexibility in usage and movement. This separation allows the bed to be utilized independently, offering additional versatility for different room arrangements or activities. To enhance mobility, wheels are installed at the bottom of the drawer-bed60. These wheels facilitate easy movement, enabling users to roll the bed in and out of the designated space without difficulty.

The side panel38 of the drawer-bed is constructed from composite materials, providing a durable and lightweight solution. These materials often combine strength and flexibility, making the side panels resistant to wear and tear while also contributing to the overall aesthetic of the beds.

The bottom34 of the drawer-bed30 and drawer-bed40 is made from braided materials. This choice not only adds a unique texture but also offers benefits such as enhanced breathability and comfort.

The bottom51 of the drawer-bed50 is made of elastic materials, which add a layer of comfort and adaptability. The elasticity allows the bed to conform to the user's body, providing support while also enhancing the sleeping experience.

The bottom62 of the drawer-bed60 is made of elastic or hard materials.

As illustrated in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, stable fence31 and the fence37 are securely installed on the side panels38 of drawer-bed30 and drawer-bed40. These fences provide additional safety for users, particularly for children, by preventing accidental falls and creating a secure environment for play or rest.

The telescopic railing posts32 are integrated into the present invention, allowing them to extend upward as the drawer-bed is pulled out. When the bed is pushed back in, the railing posts can retract, maintaining a clean and unobtrusive appearance.

On top of the fences and railing posts, there are special electric sockets (33) These sockets serve multiple purposes: Installing lamps for added illumination or mounting warrior dolls or toy weapons.

The drawer-beds30, drawer-bed40 and drawer-bed50 install slide rails on both sides to cooperate with the device28 set in the main frame. The drawer-beds can be driven in and out manually or electrically.

The security door80 of the the present invention is composed of two main components: the gate81 and two drive rods84. This combination is engineered to create a parallelogram structure when combined with the column23, ensuring stability and strength.

The design allows the security door80 to rotate around axis83. This rotation mechanism enables the gate81 to raise vertically

When Gate 81 is in its lowest position, the Security Door 80 remains in a stable state, effectively providing a secure barrier.

A counterweight79 is positioned on the outside of Axis83 to reduce thrust during operation, Once raised, the Security Door80 can automatically return to its closed state by gravity, ensuring it stays secure without manual intervention. The security door80 can be moved either manually or electrically.

A restrict plate82 keeps the security door80 moving within a fixed plane, ensuring controlled motion. Additionally, there is a dedicated route for pets located beneath the security gates, allowing easy passage for pets without affecting the gate's operation.

Each drawer-bed is equipped with its own specially designed mattress 90

Each mattress90 consists of two identical parts91, which are connected by a zipper92. These mattresses are arranged around the present invention, serving as safety pads to provide cushioning and protection in the surrounding area, ensuring safety as children are playing.

The ventilation system in the present invention can be connected to the outdoors, ensuring a continuous flow of fresh air inside. This system helps maintain a healthy and comfortable environment by effectively circulating and refreshing the air within the structure.

When the upper drawer-beds (30, 40, 50) are used as beds, a maximum of two-thirds of the drawer-beds can be pulled out for sleeping. This design ensures stability and safe use, providing enough space for comfortable rest while maintaining the structure's balance.

To increase the stability of the present invention, the outriggers70 are added at the root of the metal column11, which is fastened to the post by bolts71

The extension brackets75 are fixed at the top of metal column11 by bolts77 for hanging or fixing some devices.

The outer extension frame75 consists of a panel76 and reinforcing a rib78. [0057] The design allows the security door80 to rotate around axis83. This rotation mechanism enables the gate81 to raise vertically.

If the user desires more privacy, they can close the drawer-bed and sleep inside. This design provides an enclosed, private sleeping space while maximizing the use of room. The drawer-bed can be easily opened or closed as needed, offering flexibility for the user to create a more intimate or open environment based on their preference.

For the infant, the security door80 is required, with the help of a counterweight79 the security door will be easy to push up. When no external force puts on the security door, the gate81 will automatically back to close state.

The present invention has huge inside space to store toys and other things.

To ensure the stability of the present invention, counterweights can be added at the bottom of the main frame10. These counterweights help balance the structure.

What is claimed is:

1. A multi-layer drawer-bed castle comprising:

A castle-like main frame10, which includes stairs to access different levels.

2. A multi-layer drawer-bed castle comprising:

Four various-sized drawer-beds, which serve as beds or storage cells.
