Embodiments, features, and aspects of the invention are described herein in conjunction with the following drawings in which:

FIG. 1 is a top perspective view of a toilet according to one embodiment of the invention;

FIG. 2 depicts the seat of FIG. 1 tilted;

FIG. 3 is a side bottom perspective sectional view of the toilet of FIG. 1, upon placing the cover on the seat;

FIG. 4 is a side schematic view of the toilet of FIG. 1, upon placing the cover on the seat;

FIG. 5 is a side view of the toilet at the horizontal position of the cover, and upon splashing water from the nozzle; and

FIG. 6 is the side view of FIG. 5 upon lifting the cover from the position of FIG. 5.

The drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The invention will be understood from the following detailed description of embodiments of the invention, which are meant to be descriptive and not limiting. For the sake of brevity, some well-known features are not described in detail.

The reference numbers have been used to point out elements in the embodiments described and illustrated herein, in order to facilitate the understanding of the invention. They are meant to be merely illustrative, and not limiting. Also, the foregoing embodiments of the invention have been described and illustrated in conjunction with systems and methods thereof, which are meant to be merely illustrative, and not limiting.

FIG. 1 is a top perspective view of a toilet according to one embodiment of the invention.

FIG. 2 depicts the seat of FIG. 1 tilted.

A toilet 10 according to one embodiment, includes bowl 50; seat 12; and a tiltable cover 14 of the prior art toilet.

A peripheral wall 52 extends from cover 14; a seal 16 extends from wall 52. Cover 14 further includes a water nozzle 34 for being directed towards bowl 50.

FIG. 3 is a side bottom perspective sectional view of the toilet of FIG. 1, upon placing the cover on the seat.

FIG. 4 is a side schematic view of the toilet of FIG. 1, upon placing the cover on the seat.

Peripheral wall 52 is for covering Peripheral seal 16 is inflatable, for attaching zone 34 of the outside of bowl 50.

Even though the outside of bowl 50 is tilted thus the diameter of zone of zone 34 of bowl 50 is smaller than the diameter of seat 14, the inner diameter of seal 16 upon being inflated is sufficiently small to attach zone 34.

FIG. 5 is a side view of the toilet at the horizontal position of the cover, and upon splashing water from the nozzle.

Seal 16 may be inflated by a water or air pump 40A, pumping through a pipe 38 into seal 16.

Peripheral 52 from which inflated seal 16 attaches external top zone 34 of bowl 50, forms a peripheral compartment 46, containing water 56 splashed by nozzle 18.

Peripheral compartment 46 provides that water splashed by nozzle 18 may cross gap 22 between seat 12 and bowl 50 without being spilled to the floor 54.

A water pump 40B may then empty most of water 56 from peripheral compartment 46.

FIG. 6 is the side view of FIG. 5 upon lifting the cover from the position of FIG. 5.

Lifting 48 of cover 14 slides peripheral inflated seal 16 in relation to external top zone 34 of bowl 50, thus inflated seal 16 sweeps contained water 56 upwards to fall into bowl 50.

Thus, in one aspect, the invention is directed to a cleanable toilet (10), including:

    • a water nozzle (18), for splashing water (56); and
    • a structure (64), for collecting the splashed water (56).

The collecting of the splashed water (56) may be:

    • collecting the splashed water into the bowl (50);
    • collecting the splashed water into a peripheral compartment (46) surrounding the external top (46) of the bowl (50).

The structure (64) may be a peripheral compartment (46) surrounding the external top (46) of the bowl (50).

The peripheral compartment (46) may include the cover (14) of the toilet, thereby lifting of the cover (14) collects the splashed water (56) into the bowl (50).

The structure (64) may include:

    • a peripheral wall (52) extending right-angled (60) from the cover (14) of the toilet (10), thereby once the cover (14) is disposed horizontally, the bottom (62) of the peripheral wall (52) is disposed lower than the external top (34) of the bowl (50); and
    • a peripheral seal (16) extending from the peripheral wall (52), the seal (16) for attaching the external top (34) of the bowl (50).

The peripheral seal (16) may be inflatable.

The peripheral wall (52), the peripheral seal (16), and the external top (34) of the bowl (50) may form together a peripheral compartment (46).

In the figures and description herein, the following reference numbers (Reference Signs List) have been mentioned:

    • number 10 denotes the toilet according to one embodiment of the invention;
