The present disclosure relates to portable container holders. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to wearable, portable beverage container holder. The present beverage container holders can be worn on the body of the user for easy access to the container contained within the holder, while providing hands-free portability of a container.
Over the years, staying hydrated has become a key focus of a healthy lifestyle and an essential part of daily life. Single use plastic bottled beverages have risen in popularity as a convenient, easy way to always have a beverage on hand. Therefore, carrying a beverage whether as a single use plastic bottle or re-useable container is now a common routine.
To be more environmentally conscious, re-usable beverage containers have become more and more popular with the consuming public. However, re-usable beverage containers can often be large, bulky and heavy, especially when filled with liquid. Also, carrying a beverage container often leaves the user without the option to use both hands, or requires the user to place a container down, which risks losing or misplacing an often pricey container.
Therefore, a need exists for a wearable beverage container holder offering hands-free portability of a beverage container. Additionally, it is advantageous to have a wearable beverage container holder configured to receive containers of various sizes, including single use plastic bottles and re-usable beverage containers.
Moreover, a need exists for an improved wearable portable beverage container holder designed for wearing on the front of the body so the user can easily access the container while the holder is being worn.
Additionally, a need exists for an improved wearable beverage container holder which is adjustable and comfortable for the user to carry various containers hands-free.
The present disclosure relates to portable container holders. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to wearable, portable beverage container holders. The present beverage container holders can be worn on the body of the user allowing easy access to the container within the holder, while providing hands-free portability of a container. Additionally, the beverage container holder is configured for receiving and securing various sizes of containers.
To this end, in an embodiment of the present disclosure, a wearable beverage container holder is provided. The wearable beverage container holder comprises an elongated body having an interior space, a first attachment on a top of the elongated body, a second attachment on a bottom of the elongated body, a third attachment on the bottom of the elongated body and at least two straps having a first joint connection for engagement with the elongated body and wherein the straps are configured to secure the elongated body in position on a user.
In another embodiment, a container holder is provided. The container holder comprises an elongated body having an interior space defined by sides, a top end and an opposing bottom end 16, a first strap, a second strap, wherein the first strap and second strap are connected together at a common end, a first attachment on a top of the elongated body, a second attachment on a bottom of the elongated body, a third attachment opposing the second attachment on the bottom of the elongated body, wherein the first strap and the second strap are releasably connected for engagement with the elongated body through the first attachment, the second attachment and third attachment, and, wherein the straps are configured to secure the elongated body in position on a user.
It is, therefore, an advantage and objective of the present disclosure to provide a wearable beverage container for securing a beverage container on the body of the wearer for ease in portability. Additionally, it is advantageous to have a wearable beverage container holder configured to receive containers of various sizes, including single use plastic bottles and re-usable beverage containers.
It is further an advantage of the present disclosure to provide a wearable beverage container holder providing hands-free portability of a beverage container while the container holder is being worn on the user.
It is yet another advantage of the present disclosure to provide a wearable beverage container holder providing easy access to a container stored within the holder while the holder is being worn on the front body of a user.
Additional features and advantages of the present disclosure are described in, and will be apparent from, the detailed description of the presently preferred embodiments and from the drawings.

The present disclosure relates to portable container holders. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to wearable, portable beverage container holders. A feature of the present wearable beverage container holders is that they provide hands-free portability of a container. The present beverage container holders are worn on the front body of the user and secured using a pair of straps, which position the beverage container holder preferably across the chest, thereby permitting easy access by the wearer to the container within the holder. Additionally, the beverage container holder is configured for receiving various sizes of containers.
Now referring to the figures, wherein like numerals refer to like parts, FIGS. 1-6 illustrate embodiments of a wearable, portable beverage container holder according to the present disclosure. FIGS. 7A-7D illustrate another embodiment of a wearable, portable beverage container holder according to the present disclosure. FIGS. 8-9 illustrate yet another embodiment of a wearable, portable beverage container holder according to the present disclosure. FIGS. 10-11 illustration yet a further embodiment of a wearable, portable beverage container holder according to the present disclosure. Each embodiment of the wearable, beverage container holder provides the user with hands-free options for securing and carrying a beverage container on the body.
FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate an embodiment of a wearable, portable beverage container holder 10. The beverage container holder 10 includes an elongated body 12 defined by sides or walls 13 and having a top end 14 and an opposing bottom end 16. The body 12 of the beverage container holder 10 has an elongated shape, wherein the sides 13 define an interior space 18 or compartment for receiving a bottle or container 50. The elongated body 12 has a tapered shape from the top end 14 to the bottom 16, wherein the top end has a narrower width than the bottom of the elongated body. Optionally, the elongated body 12 of the beverage container holder 10 may have the same or consistent width from the top end 14 to the bottom end 16. The elongated body 12 of the beverage container holder 10 can be constructed from any durable material such as cotton, nylon, polyester, or any other suitable material which is preferably also water-resistant or waterproof.
The top end 14 of the elongated body 12 further includes a first attachment 14a in the form of a loop or D-ring. As well, the bottom end 16 of the elongated body 12 includes two attachments, also in the form of a loop or D-ring, specifically a second attachment 16a and an opposing third attachment 16b. The first, second and third attachments 14a, 16a, 16b are configured to engage a pair of straps 20 comprising a first strap 20a and a second strap 20b to the elongated body 12, as will be described.
As shown in FIG. 2, the second attachment 16a and third attachment 16b are positioned opposite from one another and across a width of the bottom end 16 of the beverage container holder. This placement of the second and third attachments 16a, 16b on the bottom end 16 of the elongated body 12 enables attachment of the straps to the body effectively providing a balanced and secure fit of the beverage container holder 10 on the wearer, and evenly distributes the weight of the container 50 inside the holder.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the beverage container holder 10 of the present disclosure includes a pair of adjustable straps 20 including a first strap 20a and a second strap 20b. The pair of straps 20 are adjustable through at least one buckle 21 on each strap, which is used to adjust the length of the strap or straps in relation to the elongated body 12. Adjustability of the pair of straps 20 is important for positioning the beverage container holder 10 so it is comfortable for the wearer.
As shown, the first strap 20a and second strap 20b are joined together at a first joint or common connection 22. The first strap 20a includes a first strap end 24, while the second strap 20b includes a second strap end 26. Each strap end 22, 24, 26 further includes a releasable connector 28, which can be in the form of any suitable fastener, including a snap hook. The releasable connector 28 is configured for coupling and uncoupling the straps 20a and 20b to each of the top end 14 of the elongated body 12 through the first attachment 14a and to the bottom end 16 of the elongated body through each of the second attachment 16a and the opposing third attachment 16b, as shown in FIG. 2.
When the pair of adjustable straps 20 are connected to the elongated body 12 as described above, the beverage container holder 10 is ready for wearing. FIGS. 3-6 illustrate an example of several views on how the present beverage container holder 10 is worn by a user. Initially, the straps 20 are each placed over the head of the user to wrap around the waist, with one strap 20a positioned directly under one arm, while the second strap 20b crosses across the back under the other arm (FIGS. 3 and 4). This strap arrangement positions the beverage container holder 10 diagonally across the chest of the user, with the top end 14 positioned on the top of the shoulder and the bottom end 16 angled slightly toward the waist. FIG. 5 further illustrates the position of the straps 20a and 20b (in dashed lines) on the back of the user in comparison to position of the straps (solid lines) on the front of the user. When the beverage container holder 10 is worn as illustrated, the container 50 is balanced on the wearer and easily accessible to the wearer (FIG. 6).
After a container 50 or bottle is placed within the interior space 18 of the elongated body 12, the body can be closed through any form of suitable fastener 30, including but not limited to, snaps, hook and loop closure, buttons or a zipper, as shown in FIG. 2. The fastener 30 may run the length of the elongated body 12 from the top end 14 to the opposing bottom end 16. In this manner, when opened by the fastener 30 the interior space 18 of the elongated body 12 is easily accessible to the user for placement or removal of a bottle or container 50. Additionally, having a fastener 30 running the length of the elongated body 12 of the beverage holder 10 enables the holder to accommodate and store containers of various sizes.
FIGS. 7A through 7D illustrate yet another embodiment of a beverage container holder 100 according to the present disclosure. The beverage container holder 100 includes an elongated body 102 for receiving and securing a container or bottle. In this embodiment, the pair of straps 104 can optionally be joined completely together using a fastener 106, in this instance a zipper running the length of the straps, to create a single, wider strap (FIG. 7A). The beverage container holder 100 can then be used like a sling diagonally across the chest of the user, with the single strap 104 running across the back of the user (FIG. 7C).
In another embodiment, the pair of straps 104 can be disconnected from one another forming two separate straps, a first strap 104a and a second strap 104b (FIG. 7B). This particular beverage container holder 100 is then worn as described in a previous embodiment, with the first strap 104a running beneath the shoulder toward the waist of the wearer, and the second strap 104b crossing the back of the wear under the opposing shoulder side toward the waist of the wearer thereby securing the bottom of the beverage container holder 100 near the waist of the user.
Although a zipper 106 is shown, it should be understood the two straps 104a, 104b may be joined together using any suitable fastener, including but not limited to hook and loop, buttons, and snaps. The option to join the two straps 104a, 104b creating a single strap 104 provides the user with different options for wearing the beverage container holder 100, for example over one shoulder and across the chest as illustrated in FIG. 7C (one strap), versus another option where the straps are disconnected from each other and are positioned on the wearer as previously described and illustrated in FIG. 7D (two straps).
In a further embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the elongated body 202 of the beverage container holder 200 may simply include a fold over or wrap configuration closure 203 for securing a container 50 within the holder without the use of fasteners or closures. Optionally, a fastener, such as a button, snap or hook and loop style fastener may be used at the closure 203 FIG. 10 illustrates the beverage container holder 10 having a covering 60 over the top end 14 and first attachment loop 14a of the holder. The covering 60 encloses the first connection end 22 of the straps 20 and the releasable connector 28. The covering 60 can provide extra cushioning for the shoulder of the user when the holder 10 is positioned in use as shown in FIG. 10. FIG. 11 also illustrates inclusion of pockets 62 on the elongated body 12. It should be understood the number of pockets and positioning of the pockets 62 onto the beverage container holder can vary.
It should be noted that while the present disclosure is directly primarily to container holders 10, 100, 200 for accommodating and securing a beverage bottle or container, the present holders may be useful for carrying a variety of other items that may fit inside the holders. An advantage of the present container holders is that the various strap configurations permit adjustability for wearing on a variety users while offering hands-free portability of a beverage container, and easy accessibility of the container to the wearer.
It should be noted that various changes and modifications to the presently preferred embodiments described herein will be apparent to those skilled in the art. Such changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure and without diminishing its attendant advantages. Further, references throughout the specification to “the invention” are nonlimiting, and it should be noted that claim limitations presented herein are not meant to describe the invention as a whole. Moreover, the invention illustratively disclosed herein suitably may be practiced in the absence of any element which is not specifically disclosed herein.
1. A wearable beverage container holder comprising:
an elongated body having an interior space;
a first attachment on a top of the elongated body;
a second attachment on a bottom of the elongated body;
a third attachment on the bottom of the elongated body;
at least two straps having a first joint connection between ends of the straps for engagement with the elongated body; and,
wherein the straps are configured to secure the elongated body in position on a user.
2. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 1, wherein the interior space is configured for receiving a beverage container.
3. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 1, wherein the elongated body further includes a closure for opening and closing the elongated body to access the interior space.
4. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 1, wherein the top of the elongated body has a width smaller than the bottom of the elongated body.
5. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 1, wherein the elongated body has a tapered shape from the top to the bottom of the elongated body.
6. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 1, wherein the first attachment on the top of the elongated body is a top loop.
7. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 1, wherein the second attachment on the bottom of the elongated body is positioned opposite to the third attachment on the bottom of the elongated body.
8. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 7, wherein the second attachment is a second loop.
9. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 7, wherein the third attachment is a third loop.
10. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 1, wherein the straps further include first strap end and a separate second strap end.
11. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 10, wherein the straps have a releasable connector on each of the first joint connection end, the first strap end and the second strap end.
12. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 11, wherein the releasable connectors are a snap hook.
13. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 11, wherein the releasable connector on the first joint connection of the straps is configured for engagement with the top loop.
14. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 11, wherein the releasable connector on the second connection end and on the third connection end of the straps is configured for separate engagement with the second loop and the third loop.
15. The wearable beverage container holder of claim 1, wherein the straps are configured to secure the elongated body on a front area of the user.
16. A container holder comprising:
an elongated body having an interior space defined by sides, a top end and an opposing bottom end 16;
a first strap;
a second strap, wherein the first strap and second strap are connected together at a common end;
a first attachment on a top of the elongated body;
a second attachment on a bottom of the elongated body;
a third attachment opposing the second attachment on the bottom of the elongated body;
wherein the first strap and the second strap are releasably connected for engagement with the elongated body through the first attachment, the second attachment and third attachment; and,
wherein the straps are configured to secure the elongated body in position on a user.
17. The container holder of claim 16, wherein the first strap has a first end and the second strap has a second end, wherein each of the first end and the second end are opposite the common end.
18. The container holder of claim 16, wherein the joint end, the first end and the second end each have a releasable connector configured for connecting the first strap and the second strap to the elongated body.
19. The container holder of claim 16, wherein the container is secured on a front position of the user.
