Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

The disclosure relates to the technical field of fitness equipment, and in particular to an integrated treadmill for walking and running.

BACKGROUND

The existing treadmill for running and treadmill for walking are provided with running belts. The running belt on the treadmill for running rotates faster, and the user simulates running movements on the running belt of the treadmill for running. For safety reasons, it is often necessary to provide a handrail above the treadmill for running for the user to hold in order to maintain the center of gravity and prevent falling when the user's center of gravity is unsteady. The running belt on the treadmill for walking rotates slower, and the user simulates walking movements on the running belt of the treadmill for walking, so the user is less likely to lose his balance. In order to leave enough space for the user to walk and swing his arms, the treadmill for walking is usually not provided with the handrail, which saves more space during use.

It is an urgent problem to design an integrated treadmill for walking and running, which can be used both as a traditional treadmill for running by making the handrail upright and as a traditional treadmill for walking by making the handrail folded.

SUMMARY

An objective of the disclosure is to provide an integrated treadmill for walking and running, which can be used both as a traditional treadmill for running by making the handrail upright and as a traditional treadmill for walking by making the handrail folded.

In order to achieve the above objective, the solution of the disclosure is as follows: An integrated treadmill for walking and running includes a running deck and a handrail.

The running deck lands on ground, and a top surface of the running deck is provided with a running belt.

Bottom ends of the handrail are pivoted to the running deck, such that the handrail is swingable up to extend to above the running deck for a user on the running belt to hold, and the handrail is also swingable down to a periphery of the running belt so as to be folded.

Further, the handrail includes a left column, a right column and a handrail main body; the left column and the right column are parallel to each other; a bottom end of the left column is pivoted to a left side of a front part of the running deck, and a bottom end of the right column is pivoted to a right side of the front part of the running deck, such that the left column and the right column are swingable up to respectively extend to left and right sides above the running deck, or swingable down to be respectively folded to left and right sides of a periphery of the running deck; and the handrail main body is U-shaped and is connected between the left column and the right column, and two ends of the handrail main body are pivoted to the left column and the right column on the corresponding sides, such that the handrail main body is swingable forward to extend horizontally after the left column and the right column swing up, and swingable rearward to surround the periphery of the running deck on the left and right sides and a rear side together with the left column and the right column after the left column and the right column are folded to the left and right sides of the periphery of the running deck.

Further, the handrail main body is screwed with a threaded pin, the left column or the right column is provided with an insertion hole, both the threaded pin and the insertion hole are parallel and eccentric to an axis around which the handrail main body swings, and after the left column and the right column swing up and the handrail main body swings forward to extend horizontally, the threaded pin is aligned with the insertion hole so as to threadedly rotate into or out of the insertion hole, thereby locking or unlocking the swing of the handrail main body relative to the left column and the right column.

Further, the handrail main body is provided with a first limiting portion and a second limiting portion, the first limiting portion and the second limiting portion are arranged at an interval circumferentially around an axis around which the handrail main body swings, the left column and/or the right column protrudes to form a limiting pin, and the limiting pin protrudes to between the first limiting portion and the second limiting portion and is configured to abut against the first limiting portion or the second limiting portion to limit the swing of the handrail main body.

Further, the handrail main body is provided with a hook, and when the handrail main body surrounds the periphery of the running deck on the left and right sides and the rear side together with the left column and the right column, the hook is hookable on the running deck.

Further, the hook is connected to the handrail main body through an elastic rope.

Further, the integrated treadmill for walking and running is further provided with locking mechanisms, and each of the locking mechanisms includes a spring pin and a cam.

The spring pin is horizontally slidable left and right on the running deck, the handrail is formed with a pin hole for insertion of the spring pin, and the spring pin is elastically and slidably inserted into the pin hole to lock the swing of the handrail.

The cam is rotatably arranged on the running deck and configured to push the spring pin, the cam is connected with a driving shaft that extends to a side edge of the running deck so as to be exposed, and the driving shaft rotates to drive the cam to rotate so as to push the spring pin out of the pin hole, thereby unlocking the swing of the handrail.

Further, the cam is arranged horizontally, an end of the cam is formed with a protruding portion and a depressed portion with smooth transitions, a side wall of the spring pin protrudes to form a push rod, and during the rotation of the cam, the push rod is abutted and driven by the protruding portion or the depressed portion on the cam to drive the spring pin to slide left and right.

Further, the handrail is pivoted to the running deck respectively on left and right sides of a front part of the running deck, pivot joints on the two sides are respectively provided with one of the locking mechanisms, and the cams on the two locking mechanisms share one driving shaft so as to rotate synchronously.

Further, the handrail is provided with two of the pin holes corresponding to one of the spring pins. One of the pin holes is used for insertion of the spring pin after the handrail swings up to extend to above the running deck, and the other pin hole is used for insertion of the spring pin after the handrail swings down to be folded.

By adopting the above solution, the disclosure has the following beneficial effects: The running deck lands on the ground, the top surface of the running deck is provided with the running belt, and the bottom ends of the handrail are pivoted to the running deck. In this way, the handrail is swingable up to extend to above the running deck for the user on the running belt to hold. In this case, the integrated treadmill for walking and running is used as a traditional treadmill for running by making the handrail upright. The handrail is also swingable down to the periphery of the running belt so as to be folded. In this case, the integrated treadmill for walking and running is used as a traditional treadmill for walking by making the handrail folded.

An integrated treadmill for walking and running, as shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 9, includes a running deck 1 and a handrail 2. The running deck 1 lands on ground, and a top surface of the running deck 1 is provided with a running belt 3, and the user can run and walk on the running belt 3, which is the regular arrangement of a treadmill for running and a treadmill for walking and will not be described in detail in this example. Bottom ends of the handrail 2 are pivoted to the running deck 1. In this way, the handrail 2 is swingable up to extend to above the running deck 1. The specific structure and shape of the handrail 2 are not limited, as long as the user running or walking on the running belt 3 can hold it. In this case, the integrated treadmill for walking and running can be used as a traditional treadmill for running. The handrail 2 is also swingable down to the periphery of the running belt 3 so as to be folded. In this case, the integrated treadmill for walking and running can be used as a traditional treadmill for walking.

Preferably, in this example, more specifically, the handrail 2 includes a left column 4, a right column 5 and a handrail main body 6. The left column 4 and the right column 5 are parallel to each other and are respectively in the shape of a straight rod. A bottom end of the left column 4 is pivoted to a left side of a front part of the running deck 1, a bottom end of the right column 5 is pivoted to a right side of the front part of the running deck 1, and rotating shafts that pivot the left column 4 and the right column 5 to the running deck 1 respectively extend left and right, such that the left column 4 and the right column 5 are swingable up to respectively extend to left and right sides above the running deck 1, or swingable down to be respectively folded to left and right sides of a periphery of the running deck 1. The handrail main body 6 is U-shaped and is connected between the left column 4 and the right column 5, and two ends of the handrail main body are pivoted to the left column 4 and the right column 5 on the corresponding sides. Both a rotating shaft that pivots a left end of the handrail main body 6 to the left column 4, and a rotating shaft that pivots a right end of the handrail main body 6 to the right column 5 horizontally extend left and right. In this way, the handrail main body 6 is swingable forward to extend horizontally after the left column 4 and the right column 5 swing up. In this case, the user on the running belt 3 can hold the handrail main body 6 respectively from the front side or the left and right sides of his body, which makes the holdable range larger. The handrail main body 6 is also swingable rearward to surround the periphery of the running deck 1 on the left and right sides and a rear side together with the left column 4 and the right column 5 after the left column 4 and the right column 5 are folded to the left and right sides of the periphery of the running deck 1. After the handrail is folded, the integrated treadmill for walking and running occupies less space, and can be used as a traditional treadmill for walking with no handrail 2 exposed above the running deck 1.

Of course, after the left column 4 and the right column 5 swing up, when the handrail main body 6 swings forward to extend horizontally, it is necessary to lock the pivoting of the handrail main body 6 relative to the left column 4 and the right column 5, which may be realized by any existing mechanism that can lock and unlock the pivoting between components. Preferably, in this example, the handrail main body 6 is screwed with a threaded pin 7, the left column 4 or the right column 5 is provided with an insertion hole 8, both the threaded pin 7 and the insertion hole 8 are parallel and eccentric to the rotating shafts around which the handrail main body 6 is pivoted to the left column 4 and the right column 5, and when the handrail main body 6 swings forward to extend horizontally, the threaded pin 7 is aligned with the insertion hole 8 so as to threadedly rotate into or out of the insertion hole 8, thereby locking or unlocking the swing of the handrail main body 6 relative to the left column 4 and the right column 5. More specifically, in this example, the threaded pin 7 is screwed with a left arm of the U-shaped handrail main body 6, the insertion hole 8 is formed in the left column 4, and a tail end of the threaded pin 7 can be matched with a wrench or a screwdriver and rotated by the spanner or the screwdriver.

Preferably, the handrail main body 6 is provided with a first limiting portion 17 and a second limiting portion 18, the first limiting portion 17 and the second limiting portion 18 are arranged at an interval circumferentially around an axis around which the handrail main body 6 swings, the left column 4 and/or the right column 5 protrudes to form a limiting pin 19, and the limiting pin 19 protrudes to between the first limiting portion 17 and the second limiting portion 18 and is configured to abut against the first limiting portion 17 or the second limiting portion 18 to limit the swing of the handrail main body 6. More specifically, in this example, both ends of the handrail main body 6 are respectively formed with the first limiting portion 17 and the second limiting portion 18, and both the left column 4 and the right column 5 are respectively provided with the limiting pin 19. Through the fit between the limiting pin 19 and the first limiting portion 17, after the left column 4 and the right column 5 swing up, the handrail main body 6 can be limited to a forward swing limit position after swinging forward to extend horizontally. Through the fit between the limiting pin 19 and the second limiting portion 18, the handrail main body 6 can be limited to a rearward swing limit position of being in a same plane as the left column 4 and the right column 5.

The handrail main body 6 is provided with a hook 20, and when the handrail main body 6 surrounds the periphery of the running deck 1 on the left and right sides and the rear side together with the left column 4 and the right column 5, the hook 20 is hookable on the running deck 1, so that the handrail 2 can be fixed. More specifically, in this example, the hook is connected to the handrail main body 6 through an elastic rope 21, which facilitates hooking.

The integrated treadmill for walking and running is further provided with locking mechanisms 9, and each of the locking mechanisms 9 includes a spring pin 10 and a cam 11. The spring pin 10 is horizontally slidable left and right on the running deck 1, and the handrail 2 is formed with a pin hole 12 for insertion of the spring pin 10. Specifically, in this example, the pin holes 12 are formed in the left column 4 and the right column 5. The spring pin 10 is elastically and slidably inserted into the pin hole 12 to lock the swing of the handrail 2. The cam 11 is arranged horizontally, and rotatably arranged on the running deck 1, the cam 11 is connected with a driving shaft 13 that extends to a side edge of the running deck 1 so as to be exposed, and the driving shaft 13 rotates to drive the cam 11 to rotate. An end of the cam 11 is formed with a protruding portion 14 and a depressed portion 15 with smooth transitions, a side wall of the spring pin 10 protrudes to form a push rod 16, and during the rotation of the cam 11, the push rod 16 is abutted and driven by the protruding portion 14 or the depressed portion 15 on the cam 11 to drive the spring pin 10 to slide left and right, so as to push the spring pin 10 out of the pin hole 12, thereby unlocking the swing of the handrail 2. Preferably, in this example, the position of the end of the driving shaft 13 exposed from the side edge of the running deck 1 is rotatable by a wrench, so that the driving shaft 13 can be rotated by the wrench.

In order to firmly lock the handrail 2, the handrail 2 is pivoted to the running deck 1 respectively on the left and right sides of the front part of the running deck 1, pivot joints on the two sides are respectively provided with one of the locking mechanisms 9, and the cams 11 on the two locking mechanisms 9 share one driving shaft 13 so as to rotate synchronously.

In order to lock the swing of the handrail on the running deck 1 after the handrail 2 is folded, the handrail 2 is provided with two of the pin holes 12 corresponding to one of the spring pins 10. One of the pin holes 12 is used for insertion of the spring pin 10 after the handrail 2 swings up to extend to above the running deck 1, and the other pin hole 12 is used for insertion of the spring pin 10 after the handrail swings down to be folded.

The above is merely preferred examples of the disclosure, and is not a limitation to the design of the disclosure. All equivalent changes made according to the design keys of the disclosure shall fall within the protection scope of the disclosure.
