This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. CN202422884889.6 filed on Nov. 25, 2024, the entire content of which is hereby incorporated by reference.
The present application relates to the technical field of ball training apparatus, and in particular to a ball harness.
Ball sports, such as soccer and basketball, are among the most popular sports, in which the most important training aspects include ball control, passing, and shooting skills. In order to acquire these skills, repeating the same movements over and over again is required. A problem with repetitive practice is that every time the ball is kicked out, people need to retrieve it before continuing their practice. When training for a shooting and long-distance passing, it becomes more difficult.
To solve this problem, there are several training tools in the market. Please refer to FIG. 1, an existing soccer training tool includes a ball cover 1, a bottom support 2, a connecting string and a waist belt. A bottom of the ball cover 1 is connected to the bottom support 2 via a Velcro strap, and the waist belt and the ball cover 1 are connected through the connecting string. During soccer training, a soccer is fixed between the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2, and the waist belt is fastened around a waist of a user, reducing time of retrieving the ball and improving training efficiency.
However, the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 of the existing soccer training tool are connected via the Velcro strap, that have some defects such as insufficient adhesive force and a tendency to tear easily. Meanwhile, when in use, the soccer often contact the ground, and the Velcro tape is easy to pick up small stones and other debris, affecting an adhesion of the Velcro strap; during installation, the soccer is placed in an interior of the bottom support 2, and requires the Velcro strap to be connected and fixed to the ball cover 1 in multiple directions, making an installation process more complex.
According to an aspect of this disclosure, a ball harness is disclosed and includes:
FIG. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an existing soccer training tool;
FIG. 2 is a top view of a ball harness of the present application;
FIG. 3 is a front view of the ball harness of the present application;
FIG. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a fixing buckle of the present application; and
FIG. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a waist belt of the present application.
The present application uses a fixing string instead of a Velcro strap to connect a ball cover 1 and a bottom support 2. During installation, a fixing of a ball is completed by only pulling the fixing string. Furthermore, the present application provides a fixing buckle to fix the fixing string, and looseness or tightness of the fixing buckle is adjusted to accommodate balls with different sizes.
Please refer to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3. A ball harness of the present application includes the ball cover 1, the bottom support 2, a plurality of the fixing strings 3 and a fixing buckle 4.
The ball cover 1 has a flexible sheet structure that may cover a partial surface of the ball, and its material may be cloth, leather and other relatively flexible substances. In this embodiment, the ball cover 1 is designed as a symmetrical sheet structure, such as a square, a polygon, or a circle. A ball cover string penetrating hole is provided at a central position of the ball cover 1. A plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 are fixed at equal intervals on an edge of the ball cover 1. One end of each string penetrating sleeve of the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 is fixed on the ball cover 1, a passage or a perforation is provided in each string penetrating sleeve of the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 configured for the fixing string 3 to pass through.
The bottom support 2 has the same flexible sheet structure that may cover a partial surface of the ball, and its material may be the same cloth, leather and other relatively flexible substances. In this embodiment, the bottom support 2 is designed as the symmetrical sheet structure, such as the square, the polygon or the circle. The bottom support 2 is provided opposite to the ball cover 1, the bottom support 2 and the ball cover 1 cover a top and a bottom of the ball correspondingly and respectively. In one embodiment, a plurality of extension pieces 21 may be provided at equal intervals on an edge of the bottom support 2, and a position of each extension piece of the plurality of extension pieces 21 corresponds to a position of each string penetrating sleeve of the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 of the ball cover 1.
One end of each fixing string of the plurality of the fixing strings 3 is fixed on the edge of the bottom support 2, or, in one embodiment, is fixed on each extension piece of the plurality of extension pieces 21 on the edge of the bottom support 2, the other end of each fixing string of the plurality of fixing strings 3 passes through the passage or the perforation of the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 fixed on the edge of the ball cover 1, and is joined and tied together with each other at the ball cover string penetrating hole located at the central position of the ball cover 1. A distance between the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 may be adjusted to accommodate the balls of different sizes through adjusting a length of the fixing string 3 extending from the ball cover string penetrating hole. When the fixing string 3 is loosened, a space between the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 and the plurality of extension pieces 21 expands, thus a ball may be placed in the space. When the fixing string 3 is tightened, the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 and the plurality of extension pieces 21 approach each other, the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 intimately contact surfaces of the top and the bottom of the ball, fixing the ball on the ball harness.
The fixing buckle 4 is configured to be sleeved on a junction of the plurality of the fixing strings 3 and to tie the plurality of the fixing strings 3. The fixing buckle 4 is generally provided near the ball cover string penetrating hole of the ball cover 1. Please refer to FIG. 4, the buckle 4 includes a buckle ring 41, a tongue depressor 42 and a spring 43. The buckle ring 41 has a ring structure, a buckle ring string penetrating hole is provided on a central position of the ring structure of the buckle ring 41. An insertion hole 412 is provided on a side wall of the buckle ring 41. The tongue depressor 42 has a long strip-like structure. One end of the tongue depressor 42 is inserted into the insertion hole 412 on the side wall of the buckle ring 41 and extends into the buckle ring string penetrating hole of the buckle ring 41. One end of the spring 43 abuts on an inner wall of the buckle ring string penetrating hole of the buckle ring 41, the other end of the spring 43 abuts on one end of the tongue depressor 42 extending into the buckle ring string penetrating hole of the buckle ring 41 and continuously generates a thrust on the tongue depressor 42 towards a direction of the insertion hole 412 of the buckle ring 41. A tongue depressor string penetrating hole is also provided on a position of the tongue depressor 42 inserted into the buckle ring string penetrating hole of the buckle ring 41. A protrusion 421 is provided on one end of the tongue depressor close to the spring 43. When the spring 43 pushes the tongue depressor 42 to the direction of the insertion hole 412, the protrusion 421 abuts on an inner wall of the buckle ring 41, thus preventing the tongue depressor 42 from being completely pushed out by the spring 43. When passing through a string, one end of the tongue depressor 42 away from the buckle ring 41 is pressed, so that the tongue depressor 42 is moved towards an interior of the buckle ring 41, the tongue depressor string penetrating hole of the tongue depressor 42 and the buckle ring string penetrating hole of the buckle ring 41 are overlapped, the fixing string 3 is passed through the tongue depressor string penetrating hole and the buckle ring string penetrating hole, at this time the fixing string 3 is pulled to adjust looseness or tightness. When the fixing string 3 is required to be fixed, stop pressing the tongue depressor 42, the tongue depressor 42 is moved along a direction away from the buckle ring 41 under an elastic force of the spring 43, the fixing string 3 is pressed tightly by the inner wall of the buckle ring 41 and an inner wall of the tongue depressor string penetrating hole of the tongue depressor 42, thus a position of the fixing string 3 is fixed.
Specifically, the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 are sewn on a surface of one side of the ball cover 1 facing the bottom support 2, i.e., an inner surface of the ball cover 1. An opening of one end of the passage or the perforation of each string penetrating sleeve of the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 configured for the fixing string 3 to pass through is located at the edge of the ball cover 1, an opening of the other end of the passage or the perforation of each string penetrating sleeve of the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 faces the ball cover string penetrating hole at the central position of the ball cover 1, allowing the fixing string 3 to pass through the plurality of string penetrating sleeves 11 from the inner surface of the ball cover 1 and then pass through the ball cover string penetrating hole at the central position of the ball cover 1, thus ensuring the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 may be moved away from or close to each other along the fixing string 3. A bottom end of the fixing string 3 is repeatedly sewn on the plurality of the extension pieces 21 using a Z-shaped sewing method, thus making a connection between the fixing string 3 and the plurality of the extension pieces 21 more robust and durable.
In one embodiment, one end of each fixing string of the plurality of the fixing strings 3 extending from the fixing buckle 4 may be woven into a multi-strand rope strap through a knot, with its free end folded back to form a ring with itself, and connected via a tent peg knot, finally forming a hand strap or a shoulder strap. The user may hold the hand strap or use it as a backpack to carry and transport the ball. Specifically, in one embodiment, a separated length that maintained by the plurality of the fixing strings 3 may make a distance between the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 equals to twice a diameter of a soccer, thus ensuring an enough separated distance between the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 to place or remove the ball.
Please refer to FIG. 5, in another embodiment, the free end of the fixing string 3 is connected to a waist belt 5. The user fixes the waist belt 5 on a waist to carry the ball. During training, the ball is is kept within an extension and contraction range of the fixing string 3 to improve an efficiency of training. The waist belt 5 includes an inner wall 51 and an outer wall 52. The inner wall 51 and the outer wall 52 are sewn with a Velcro loop surface and a Velcro hook surface corresponding to each other, respectively. The Velcro loop surface and the Velcro hook surface are attached to each other, ensures a stability of a wearing of the waist belt 5, and a size of the waist belt is adjusted through adjusting a sticking area of the Velcro loop surface and the Velcro hook surface, thus widening a range of adaptation. Specifically, in one embodiment, the free end of the fixing string 3 is sewn and fixed on the waist belt 5 using a Z-shaped sewing method.
When the ball harness of the present application is used, first, press the tongue depressor 42 of the fixing buckle 4 to loosen the fixing buckle 4, and separate the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 to a suitable distance for placing the ball. Place the ball between the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 from between adjacent extension pieces 21. Then pull the free end of the fixing string 3 so that the distance between the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 is shortened and the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 intimately contact the surface of the ball. After that, stop pressing the tongue depressor 42 to fix the fixing buckle 42, that is, a fixing of the ball is completed. The free end of the fixing string 3 may form the hand strap or the shoulder strap via a knot, the user may hold or carry the ball harness. The free end of the fixing string 3 may also be connected to the waist belt 5, the user may tie the ball harness on the waist for training.
Compared with an existing soccer training tool using the Velcro strap, when installing and fixing the ball, the ball harness of the present application only needs to pull the free end of the fixing string 3 after placing the ball in the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2, and an intimate contact of the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 is completed in one step. A size of the ball harness may be adjusted according to the balls with different sizes through a cooperation of the fixing buckle 4 and the fixing string 3, and a range of use is wider. Compared with the Velcro strap, the fixing string 3 is sewn inside the bottom support 2, which is more stable and durable when in use.
The ball harness connects the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 through the fixing string, which is more secure and an installation process is more easier compared with fixing through the Velcro strap. It is also not easy to be loosened when the ball harness connected to the waist belt is tied to the waist during kicking training. Since removing the ball from the ball harness needs to pull apart the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 when pressing the fixing buckle 4, even if the tongue depressor 42 of the fixing buckle 4 is kicked when training, the tongue depressor 42 will rebound and lock immediately, and the ball harness will not be loosened and drop the ball without a force pulling apart the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2. When the ball is kicked away, the ball cover 1 and the bottom support 2 tend to approach each other under a tension of the fixing string 3, the ball will not fall out even if the fixing string 3 presses the tongue depressor 42. When the ball bounces back, the harness will not loosen and the ball will not fall out, as the fixing buckle is kept in a locked state without being subjected to any external force.
