Description of the Related Art

From the description of the German invention, registered in Poland under No. P-407 105, a summary of which was published in the Patent Office Bulletin No. 17/2015, p. 23, a set of external thermal insulation systems is known. This system comprises at least one facade thermal insulation board, adhesive and other means useful for constructing the facade and fixing the thermal insulation board to the building wall using the aforementioned adhesive. The set has the outline of a cuboid, containing at least two layers, where at least one thermal insulation panel is located in at least the first layer. At least one second layer contains sections for adhesive and materials useful for constructing the façade. All layers of the kit are connected to each other in a detachable manner. Preferably, the individual sections of at least one second layer are arranged so that, in the horizontal plane, the centre of gravity of the set essentially coincides with its geometric centre.

The description of Polish invention No. Pat.242 628 describes a façade assembly, especially for buildings, consisting of fastening elements and façade panels connected to them. The fastening elements are mounting screws with an expansion tip, which fasten the mounting strips. They are mounted parallel to the wall or at a distance that allows for the correction of wall irregularities. The mounting strips have bean-shaped apertures, between which there are hooks for attaching the façade panels. Facade panels have a step on the rear wall along one edge and a groove on the opposite edge. Corner facade panels are bent at an angle. On the inside, there is a recess at the bend.

SUMMARY

The solutions described were characterised by insufficient rigidity of the mounting strips and insufficient certainty of their fastening, resulting from changing technologies and technical requirements in construction.

The aim of the solution, according to the invention, is to eliminate the existing inconveniences by developing a new design of the assembly enabling the installation of the façade to the wall of the building in a snap-on manner, which will ensure adequate rigidity and durability of the connection. It is very important to meet the requirement of maintaining sufficient free space between the wall and the façade to ensure adequate circulation and proper air flow.

It is also important to ensure that the completed façade is airtight and resistant to adverse weather conditions. Another requirement is to enable the individual needs and expectations of customers regarding the form and appearance of the façade to be met, while adhering to the principle that these requirements will be in line with modern construction trends and correspond to current tendencies in industrial design.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The subject of the invention is a mounting and façade assembly unit for buildings

consisting of structural elements that are assembly strips enabling façade panels to be connected to the wall, ensuring an aesthetic appearance of the façade.

The mounting strips of the assembly, fixed vertically to the wall with fixing screws with expansion tips, are spaced at appropriate intervals from each other.

The mounting strips on the side where the façade panels are attached are equipped with mounting hooks, created by rectangular cut-outs in the mounting strip and its angular bends. The mounting strips have bean-shaped apertures for fastening screws, allowing the heads of the fastening screws to be embedded in them. The mounting strips are designed to work with façade panels, which are equipped with linear projections and hooks on their rear wall.

The arrangement of mounting hooks and bean-shaped apertures on the mounting strips corresponds to the arrangement of projections and linear hooks on the rear wall of the façade panels.

The essence of the invention is the construction of a mounting and façade assembly unit for buildings, the main part of which consists of two-element mounting strips.

Each of the mounting strips of the assembly, made of rigid material, preferably high-quality steel, forms a lower sub-profile with a transverse wall, in which grooves are made on both sides of its axis. These grooves have a semicircular cross-section. The transverse wall of the lower sub-profile transitions on both sides into horizontal walls through steps, forming the stiffening arms of the mounting strip. The plane of the transverse wall and the planes of the side walls of the lower sub-profile are parallel to each other.

The upper sub-profile is embedded in the lower sub-profile and permanently connected to it. Both sub-profiles, the lower sub-profile and the upper sub-profile, are connected to each other by means of fasteners, preferably rivets.

The shape of the upper sub-profile in cross-section corresponds to the shape of the upper part of the lower sub-profile. The side walls of the upper sub-profile, which are dimensioned to fit, are mounted and tightly snapped on to the side walls of the lower sub-profile. The semi-circular grooves of the upper sub-profile are embedded in the grooves of the lower sub-profile.

In the middle part of the transverse wall of the upper sub-profile, between the semicircular grooves, there are mounting hooks, created by cutting a rectangle of material in the transverse surface of the wall and bending them at an angle. Between the mounting hooks there are bean-shaped apertures designed for mounting screws that attach the mounting strips to the wall. The heads of these screws are embedded in the bean-shaped apertures. Flexible, arched arms are attached between the mounting hooks and the bean-shaped apertures.

A flexible, arched arm positioned at the height of a linear projection located on the rear wall of the façade panels, after installation of the assembly, according to the invention, fits onto the linear projection, creating a reinforcing latch, which stiffens the fastening of the façade panel with the mounting strip. The above design solution reinforces the reliability of the connection by embedding the linear projections on the rear wall of the panels in the mounting hooks made on the surface of the mounting strip.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The subject of the invention is illustrated in the example of implementation in the attached drawing, where

FIG. 1 shows the mounting strip in a general view from above and from the side,

FIG. 2 presents the mounting strip in cross-section A-A,

FIG. 3 shows the mounting and façade assembly unit after its assembly in a side view, while FIG. 4 shows the façade panel in a general view from its rear wall.

The building assembly and façade assembly, in accordance with the invention, consists of two-element mounting strips 1.

Each mounting strip 1 consists of a lower sub-profile 2 with a transverse wall 3, in which grooves 4 are made, arranged on both sides of the axis. The grooves 4 have a semicircular cross-section. The transverse wall 3 of the lower sub-profile 2 transitions on both sides into horizontal walls via steps 5, forming its stiffening arms 6. The plane of the transverse wall 3 of the lower sub-profile 2 and the plane of its stiffening arms 6 are parallel to each other.

The upper sub-profile 7 is permanently connected to the lower sub-profile 2. The permanent connection between the two sub-profiles, the lower sub-profile 2 and the upper sub-profile 7, is achieved by means of fixed connectors 8, which are rivets. The shape of the upper sub-profile 7 in cross-section corresponds to the shape of the upper part of the lower half-profile 2. The side walls 9 of the upper half-profile 7, which are dimensioned to fit, are mounted and snapped on the side walls of the lower sub-profile 2, while the semicircular grooves 4′ of the upper sub-profile 7 are located in the grooves 4 of the lower sub-profile 2.

In the middle part 10 of the transverse wall of the upper sub-profile 7, between grooves 4 and 4′ with a semicircular outline, there are mounting hooks 11, formed by cutting out a rectangle of material in the middle part 10 of the transverse wall 3 of the upper sub-profile 7 and bending it at an angle. Between the mounting hooks 11 there are bean-shaped apertures 12 intended for mounting screws that fasten the façade to the wall and seat their heads. Between the mounting hooks 11, in the middle part 10 of the transverse wall 3 of the upper sub-profile 7, there is a flexible arched arm 13.

The flexible arm 13, positioned at the height of the linear projection 14 located on the rear wall of the façade panels 15, forms a reinforcing latch after the installation of the mounting and façade assembly unit for buildings, according to the invention. This latch ensures the rigidity and reliability of the fastening of the façade panels 15 to the mounting strip 1 and to the wall, by embedding the linear projections 16 on the rear wall of the façade panels 15 in the mounting hooks 11 located on the middle surface 10 of the upper sub-profiles 7.
