Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

In the invention, the cable, which is wound in the form of coils in the design, is taken from the winder heads with the help of clamps without using stretch and rope. The shrink film through which the coiled cable will pass is located in front of the designed mechanism. While the clamp releases the coiled cable towards the apparatus designed, the cable coil is held by the holder apparatus subject to the invention after passing through the shrink film. When the cable coil passes through the shrink film, the shrink knife descends and cuts the shrink film and the apparatus subject to the invention starts to carry the cable coil into the shrink tunnel/oven and it is carried forward by and with the apparatus until the exit of the tunnel/oven. The holder apparatus subject to the invention holds the cable coil until the shrinking process is finished and the shrink nylon on the coil is removed from the shrink tunnel/oven in which it is inserted in order to shrink with heat. In this way, with the apparatus designed and the method described above, the packaging process can be carried out without spreading the tail end of the cable and without using binding material.

STATE OF THE ART

It is very important that electricity and data transmission cables, which are almost mandatory to be used in almost every aspect of life, are kept in suitable conditions and packaging.

Improper packaging of electrical cables, the manufacturing of which is determined by international standards, poses a safety risk. The most common and useful methods used to keep and transport electrical and data cables in a healthy and standardized manner without being damaged during the packaging, storage and transport stages after manufacturing are winding on a reel or winding in coil form. Winding, which was previously carried out by manpower, is now fully automated with the increase in mechanization. The continuous development of winding machines, of which there are many examples, causes convenience. Although the automation of the production of the cable and the winding of the cable in the forms in question has led to a general cost reduction for the cable manufacturer, it has also led to the need for the use of auxiliary materials such as stretch film, rope, etc. in the transition phase of the winding and packaging processes and it has been observed that it causes additional costs. The cables wound in the existing machines can be wound in the form of coils or reels. Rope or stretch film is used to fasten the tail end of the cables wound in coils. The coil-shaped cable is transferred to the shrink unit after the stretching process is performed and passed into the shrink film. The coil in the shrink film passes through the shrink oven and the cable is prevented from spreading. When the knot tying (rope) method is used to fasten the tail end of the wrapped coil, it can be transferred to the shrink unit according to customer demand. There are rope and stretch costs in the specified packaging types.

Nowadays, efforts to reduce the costs of minimum manpower and less material costs for the work done are at the forefront of the objectives targeted in all sectors.

The object of the invention is to reduce the packaging cost per coil by eliminating the use of auxiliary materials such as stretch film, rope, etc. during the packaging of coils wrapped in coil form, to reduce the use of plastic and thus to reduce the damage to nature.

In US20200166723A1 rotating a crank arm to wind the cable reel so that the loose length of optical cable is wound around the drum. Some crank arms can be removed from the cable reel. Other types of crank arms can be folded relative to the cable reel, but this will still require extra cost and labor as the wrapping is completed using rope and stretch wrap.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

By means of the invention, the need for auxiliary material for packaging the cable in the form of coils by fixing the result is eliminated. By means of the mechanism made in the shrink unit, it is aimed to make the process more practical and with less risk by eliminating the cost of auxiliary material and without the need for manpower. With the elimination of auxiliary material, it is aimed to reduce the use of plastic and to promote environmentally friendly manufacturing.

FIGURES TO HELP UNDERSTANDING THE INVENTION

FIG. 1: The coiled cable (3) is advanced by the holder clamp (1) to the inventive holder apparatus (2.2) and held by the inventive apparatus (2.2) and moves in the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1).

FIG. 2: It is shown that the inventive holder apparatus (2.2) takes the coiled cable (3) from the holder clamp (1) and moves into the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1).

FIG. 3: While advancing the coiled cable (3) with the holder clamp (1) towards the holder apparatus (2.2), the situation in which the coiled cable (3) will pass through the shrink film and be cut with the shrink knife (2.3) is shown.

FIG. 4: The coiled cable (3) is shown entering the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1) with the inventive holder apparatus (2.2).

FIG. 5: The shrink tunnel/oven (2.1) in which the cable (3) wound in coil form together with the inventive holder apparatus (2.2) progresses is shown.

FIG. 6: It can be seen that the holder apparatus (2.2) and the coiled cable (3), which are the subject of the invention, move in the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1) until they exit the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1).

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

After the coiled cable (3) is taken from the winder heads with the help of the holder clamp (1), the holder clamp (1) rotates 180° and comes in front of the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1). The holder clamp (1) holds the coiled cable (3) from the right-left and top and moves it towards the holder apparatus (2.2) subject to the invention connected to the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1).

While the holder clamp (1) moves the coil (3) towards the holder apparatus (2.2) subject to the invention, the coil (3) passes through the shrink film. After the coiled cable (3) passes through the shrink film and is held by the holder apparatus (2.2) subject to the invention by means of resting, compressing and pressing on fixed and/or movable mechanisms, the holder clamp (1) is pulled away and the shrink knife (2.3) moves down and cuts the shrink film.

After the shrink film is cut, the coiled cable (3) enters the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1) together with the holder apparatus (2.2) subject to the invention. The coiled cable (3), the tail end of which is fixed and on which the shrink film is passed, is kept fixed by the holder apparatus (2.2) subject to the invention without letting go until it leaves the shrink tunnel/oven (2.1). In the shrink oven/tunnel (2.1), the shrink film shrinks on the coil.

In this way, the coiled cable (3) is prevented from losing the existing form of the completed cable without the use of binding material and the cost of binding material is eliminated.
