Description

FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention relates to a pulley device. More particularly, it discloses an innovative configuration for a detachable pulley device structure designed for a multi-functional power cage.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Conventionally, strength training equipment is typically mounted on a multi-functional cage, using idler wheels (or pulleys) to guide cables for extension and directional adjustment.

However, current pulley devices used in the strength training equipment present several limitations. For example, some pulley devices that are fixedly mounted to the top crossbar of the multi-functional cages restrict flexibility when cable routing paths need to be modified or adjusted. In other cases, configurations where the pulley devices are positioned directly above the top crossbar necessitate cables to bend downward and pass through the crossbar to extend below. This arrangement can be problematic if the top crossbar lacks appropriate through-holes for cable passage, thereby complicating component assembly and creating potential interferences.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention provides a detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage. This invention addresses the technical need of developing a practical and innovative pulley system that can be readily assembled onto existing multi-functional cages to guide multiple cables for extension and directional adjustment. The multi-functional cage comprises multiple interconnected vertical posts and crossbars, each with multiple positioning holes arranged at regular intervals to accommodate corresponding bolt assemblies for secure attachment.

In order to achieve this purpose, the solution to the problem of the present invention includes the following technical features:

A mounting bracket, comprising a frame plate with multiple mounting holes aligned with the corresponding positioning holes on the vertical post, allowing the bolt assemblies to secure the mounting bracket and enabling detachable mounting at a junction between the top of the vertical post and the crossbar. Two directional pulleys are spaced apart on the left and right sides of the frame plate, each supported by an axle positioned above the crossbar and on opposite sides of the top of the vertical post. Each directional pulley guides the cable into a curved configuration, facilitating the formation of a vertical cable section spaced in front of the vertical post and a horizontal cable section spaced above the crossbar.

The primary advantages of the present invention are derived from its innovative mounting bracket and directional pulleys configuration, which guide cable routing in vertical and horizontal sections. The vertical section is formed with a space in front of the vertical post, while the horizontal section is also formed with a space above the crossbar. This arrangement facilitates optimal cable routing while effectively eliminating interference from the vertical posts and the crossbars, thereby providing practical improvements and enhanced industrial applicability.

Another purpose of the present invention is achieved through the inclusion of multiple detachable upper mounts, each comprising a mounting base and a cable guide pulley. The mounting base includes assembly holes aligned with the positioning holes on the crossbar, allowing secure attachment via the bolt assemblies. The cable guide pulley is positioned at the same height as the directional pulleys, thereby providing stable support for the horizontal section of the cable, resulting in practical improvements in cable stability.

Yet another purpose of the present invention is achieved by installing a pivoting pulley assembly mount at a spaced position below the mounting bracket on the vertical post. The pivoting pulley assembly mount comprises two pivoting pulley assemblies spaced apart on the left and right sides. Each pivoting pulley assembly is pivotally mounted to the pivoting pulley assembly mount to allow left and right angular adjustment in response to applied force and comprises an upper pulley, a lower pulley, and a cable outlet configured to guiding the cable for connection to a handle component. This configuration enhances operational convenience, allowing the handle component to adjust to various hand open angles, while enabling the pivoting pulley assemblies to follow the user's hand movements, thereby increasing flexibility and ease of use.

A further purpose of the present invention is achieved by installing a stabilizing support base near the bottom of the vertical post. The stabilizing support base comprises a connection end, a projecting end, and a ground contact foot. The connection end has multiple mounting holes aligned with the corresponding positioning holes on the vertical post, allowing secure attachment via the bolt assemblies. The ground contact foot is located at the projecting end to provide additional ground support, thereby extending the ground contact area of the vertical post and increasing the structural strength and stability of the mounted components.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 through 7, a preferred embodiment of a detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage is illustrated. This embodiment is provided for illustrative purposes only and does not limit the scope of the patent application to these specific structures.

The detachable pulley device for strength training is configured for assembly onto an existing multi-functional cage 10 to allow guided extension and directional adjustment of multiple cables 40. The multi-functional cage 10 comprises multiple interconnected vertical posts 11 and crossbars 12, wherein each post 11 and crossbar 12 includes multiple positioning holes 13 arranged at regular intervals to accommodate corresponding bolt assemblies 14 for secure attachment.

The detachable pulley device includes: a mounting bracket 20, comprising a frame plate 21 with multiple mounting holes 22 aligned with the corresponding positioning holes 13 on the vertical post 11, allowing the bolt assemblies 14 to secure the bracket 20 and enabling detachable mounting at a junction between the top of the vertical post 11 and the crossbar 12. Two directional pulleys 30 are spaced apart on the left and right sides of the frame plate 21, each supported by an axle 31 positioned above the crossbar 12 and on opposite sides of the top of the vertical post 11. Each directional pulley 30 guides a cable 40 into a curved configuration, facilitating the formation of a vertical cable section 41 spaced in front of the vertical post 11 and a horizontal cable section 42 spaced above the crossbar 12.

As shown in FIG. 5, in this embodiment, the frame plate 21 of the mounting bracket 20 extends laterally to form two wing plates 23 to allow the two directional pulleys 30 to be separately mounted thereon. Each wing plate 23 includes a relief notch 24 at its top which provides clearance for the respective directional pulley 30.

As shown in FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, in this embodiment, the bolt assembly 14 includes a bolt 141 and a nut 143.

As shown in FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, this embodiment of the detachable pulley device further comprises multiple detachable upper mounts 50, each including a mounting base 51 and at least one cable guide pulley 52. The mounting base 51 includes multiple assembly holes 53 aligned with the corresponding positioning holes 13 on the crossbar 12, allowing secure attachment via the bolt assemblies 14. The at least one cable guide pulley 52 is positioned at the same heigh as the directional pulleys 30 to provide stable support for the horizontal section 42 of the cable 40.

As shown in FIG. 4, in this embodiment, the mounting base 51 further includes at least one vertical pass-through opening 54 to allow the cable 40 to extend downward.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, in this embodiment, a pivoting pulley assembly mount 60 is installed at a spaced position below the mounting bracket 20 on the vertical post 11. The pivoting pulley assembly mount 60 comprises two pivoting pulley assemblies 61 spaced apart on the left and right sides. Each pivoting pulley assembly 61 is pivotally mounted to the pivoting pulley assembly mount 60 via a pivot axle 62 that enables left and right angular adjustment in response to applied force, and each pivoting pulley assembly 61 comprises an upper pulley 612, a lower pulley 614, and a cable outlet 616 configured between the upper pulley 612 and the lower pulley 614 to guide the cable 40 for connection to a handle component 70. This configuration of the pivoting pulley assembly mount 60 enhances operational convenience, allowing the handle component 70 to adjust to various hand open angles, while enabling the pivoting pulley assemblies 61 to follow the user's hand movements, increasing operational flexibility.

Through the structural configuration and technical features described above, the detachable pulley device disclosed in the present invention is configurated for assembly onto the existing multi-functional cage 10 (as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2) to guide the multiple cables 40 for extension and directional adjustment. As shown in FIG. 1, the mounting bracket 20 and the directional pulleys 30 guide the cable 40 along the vertical section 41 and the horizontal section 42, with the vertical section 41 spaced in front of the vertical post 11 and the horizontal section 42 spaced above the crossbar 12 (see FIGS. 6 and 7). This arrangement facilitates optimal cable routing while effectively eliminating interference from the vertical posts 11 and the crossbars 12, thereby providing practical improvements and enhanced industrial applicability.

Additionally, as shown in FIG. 8, in this embodiment, at least one stabilizing support base 80 is installed near the bottom of the vertical post 11. The stabilizing support base 80 comprises a connection end 81, a projecting end 82, and a ground contact foot 83. The connection end 81 has multiple mounting holes 84 aligned with the corresponding positioning holes 13 on the vertical post 11, allowing secure attachment via the bolt assemblies 14. The ground contact foot 83 is located at the projecting end 82 to provide additional ground support. The primary purpose of the stabilizing support base 80 is to extend the ground contact area of the vertical post 11, thereby increasing the structural strength and stability of the mounted components.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 9, this embodiment illustrates an alternative configuration of the stabilizing support base 80. In this configuration, the multiple stabilizing support bases 80 are used in a left-right symmetrical arrangement to provide stable support for a single-panel type multi-functional cage, in which the vertical posts 11 and crossbars 12 form a single panel-like structure.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. A detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage, configurated for assembly on an existing multi-functional cage to guide multiple cables for extension and directional adjustment, wherein the multi-functional cage comprising multiple interconnected vertical posts and crossbars, each vertical post and crossbar having multiple positioning holes arranged at regular intervals to accommodate corresponding bolt assemblies for secure attachment, the detachable pulley device comprising:

a mounting bracket, comprising a frame plate with multiple mounting holes aligned with the corresponding positioning holes on the vertical post, allowing the bolt assemblies to secure the bracket and enabling detachable mounting at a junction between the top of the vertical post and the crossbar; and

two directional pulleys, spaced apart on the left and right sides of the frame plate, each supported by an axle positioned above the crossbar and on opposite sides of the top of the vertical post, and each guiding the cable into a curved configuration, facilitating the formation of a vertical cable section spaced in front of the vertical post and a horizontal cable section spaced above the crossbar.

The detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage according to claim 1, wherein the frame plate of the mounting bracket extends laterally to form two wing plates to allow the two directional pulleys to be separately mounted thereon, and each wing plate includes a relief notch at its top to provide clearance for the respective directional pulley.

3. The detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage according to claim 1, wherein the bolt assembly includes a bolt and a nut.

The detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage according to claim 1, further comprising multiple detachable upper mounts, each comprising a mounting base and at least one cable guide pulley, where the mounting base has multiple assembly holes aligned with the corresponding positioning holes of the crossbar to facilitate assembly using the bolt assemblies, and the at least one cable guide pulley is positioned at the same height as the directional pulleys to provide stable support for the horizontal section of the cable.

5. The detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage according to claim 4, wherein the mounting base further includes at least one vertical pass-through opening to allow downward extension of the cable.

The detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage according to claim 1, wherein a pivoting pulley assembly mount is installed at a spaced position below the mounting bracket on the vertical post, including two pivoting pulley assemblies spaced apart on the left and right sides, each pivoting pulley assembly pivotally mounted to the pivoting pulley assembly mount via a pivot axle that enables left and right angular adjustment in response to applied force, and each pivoting pulley assembly comprising an upper pulley, a lower pulley, and a cable outlet configured between the upper and lower pulleys for cable guidance and connection to a handle component.

The detachable pulley device for a multi-functional power cage according to claim 1, wherein at least one stabilizing support base is installed near the bottom of the vertical post, comprising a connection end, a projecting end, and a ground contact foot, where the connection end has multiple mounting holes aligned with the corresponding positioning holes of the vertical post for secure attachment via bolt assemblies, and the ground contact foot is located at the projecting end to provide additional ground support.
