Description

RELATED APPLICATIONS

The present patent document claims the benefit of priority to Patent Application No. 202522778936.3, filed Dec. 26, 2025, and entitled “AIR PURIFIER,” the entire contents of each of which are incorporated herein by reference.

BACKGROUND

1. Technical Field

The present invention relates to the technical field of air purifier, and in particular to an air purifier.

2. Background Information

Most traditional air purifiers for pets adopt vertical structure, with air inlets vertically distributed on the peripheral side of the vertical purifiers. The air inlet of traditional air purifier is relatively high above the ground, while pet hair and other debris mostly accumulate on the ground, resulting in a short range that the air inlet can adsorb hair and thus poor hair collection efficiency of the air inlets for the external environment. Besides, traditional air purifier is usually equipped with only one filter element integrated with a multi-layer filtration structure. Hair sucked in by the air purifier adheres to the surface of the filter element with strong adhesion, which is not easy to remove, and easily clogs the air inlet and affects the air intake volume and filtration effect.

The present invention is aimed at addressing the deficiencies of the prior art.

Thus, hair, dander and other debris deposited on the ground can be directly and efficiently drawn into the hair collection chamber without long-distance suspension and diffusion, achieving source-based and high-efficiency capture of ground hair, dander and other debris by the air purifier, and optimizing the hair adsorption and collection effect of the air purifier.
    • 2. By arranging an independent hair collection bin, a hair collection area separate from the main filtration system of the air purifier is constructed. After external hair is drawn in the air purifier, it is first trapped in the hair collection bin, achieving physical isolation of hair from the main filter element. This avoids the formation of a stubborn adhesive layer of hair on the surface of the main filter element, thereby preventing the reduction of air intake volume and the weakening of filtration performance caused by hair clogging, effectively protecting the filter element, greatly extending its service life, reducing the long-term use cost for users and improving the air purification efficiency of the air purifier.
    • 3.The hair collection bin is slidably disposed in the mounting cavity, forming a drawer-type hair collection bin on the base. When hair accumulated in the hair collection bin reaches a certain amount, user only needs to pull out the entire hair collection bin to centrally dump and clean the hair, achieving quick and convenient cleaning and maintenance of the hair collection bin, improving the convenience of cleaning the hair collection bin, and thus ensuring the hair adsorption effect and air purification effect of the air purifier.

Embodiment 1

FIGS. 1 to 12 illustrate an air purifier, comprising a base 1 and a hair collection bin 2 disposed near a bottom of the base 1, wherein the base 1 comprises a mounting cavity 11 and an opening 12 which is in communication with the mounting cavity 11, and the hair collection bin 2 is slidably disposed within the mounting cavity 11 through the opening 12; the hair collection bin 2 comprises a first air inlet 21 and a hair collection chamber 20 which is in communication with the first air inlet 21 and the mounting cavity 11; and the base 1 further comprises at least one second air inlet 13 which is in communication with the hair collection chamber 20.

In the present invention, by arranging the hair collection bin 2 near the bottom of the base 1, while also disposing the first air inlet 21 and second air inlet 13 which are in communication with the hair collection chamber 20, at the bottom of the base 1, enables an air inlet surface of the air purifier to be close to the ground, so that the hair, dander and other debris accumulated on the ground can be directly and efficiently drawn into the hair collection chamber 20 by the first air inlet 21 and the second air inlet 13 without undergoing long-distance suspension and diffusion, thereby achieving the source-oriented and high-efficiency capture of hair, dander and other debris on the ground by the air purifier, and optimizing the effect of the air purifier on adsorbing and collecting hair. In addition, by configuring a separate hair collection bin 2, a hair collection area independent of the main filter system of the air purifier is constructed. Once external hair is drawn in, it is first trapped inside the hair collection bin 2, achieving a physical isolation between hair and a main filter element 61. This prevents a formation of a stubborn adhesion layer of hair on the surface of the main filter element 61, thereby avoiding decrease in air intake volume and reduction in filtration efficiency caused by hair clogging. The filter element 61 is thus effectively protected, a service life of the filter element 61 is greatly extended, the long-term usage costs for users is reduced and the air purification efficiency of the air purifier is improved. In addition, the hair collection bin 2 is slidably mounted in the mounting cavity 11, forming a drawer-type hair collection bin 2 in the base 1. When the hair accumulated in the hair collection bin 2 reaches a certain amount, users only need to pull out the entire hair collection bin 2 to empty and clean the collected hair all at once. This enables quick and convenient cleaning and maintenance of the hair collection bin 2, ensuring hair adsorption effect and air purification effect of the air purifier.

Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, an arrow S1 herein indicates an air intake direction of a first air intake channel 23. A first guide bottom wall 22 is disposed at a side of the first air inlet 21, on which the first air intake channel 23 in communication with the hair collection chamber 20 is formed; and the first guide bottom wall 22 is configured to obliquely extend from the hair collection chamber 20 toward the bottom of the base 1; a first preset angle A1 is formed between a plane where the first air inlet 21 is located and the bottom of the base 1, such that the first air inlet 21 is oriented toward the ground. Compared with the conventional design in traditional air purifiers where the air inlet is parallel to the ground, the first air intake channel of the present embodiment forms a dust collection channel closely attached to the ground by arranging the first guide bottom wall 22 in an inclined manner, while the first air inlet 21 is oriented toward the ground, which enhances the ability of the air purifier to capture debris on the ground, thereby addressing problems of traditional air purifiers, such as frequent blockage in low-position air inlets and rapid decline in suction performance. In addition, the first guide bottom wall 22 arranged in an incline manner is capable of guiding external air to flow smoothly into the first air intake channel 23 via the first air inlet 21, forming a partial airflow channel oriented toward the hair collection chamber 20 within the base 1, which accelerates the airflow speed, creates higher negative pressure at the first air inlet 21, and thereby further enhances air intake efficiency of the air purifier as well as its capability to adsorb hair and other debris. Additionally, the present embodiment optimizes distribution of intake airflow of the air purifier. The inclined structural design of the first guide bottom wall 22 allows external air to be drawn into the hair collection chamber 20 in an orderly and smooth flow pattern, preventing a formation of turbulent airflow at the first air inlet 21 which would lead to wind resistance and noise emissions, and thus enhancing a quiet operation and stable performance of the air purifier.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 10, the second air inlet 13 and the opening 12 are disposed on the different sides of the base 1, a second guide bottom wall 14 and an air guide portion 15 located above the second guide bottom wall 14 are disposed at a side of the second air inlet 13. A second air intake channel 16 which is in communication with the hair collection chamber 20 is formed between the second guide bottom wall 14 and the air guide portion 15, and the height H1 of the second air intake channel 16 is configured to gradually reduce along an air intake direction S2 of the second air intake channel 16. A second preset angle A2 is formed between a plane where the second air inlet 13 is located and the bottom of the base 1, such that the second air inlet 13 is oriented toward the ground. In the present embodiment, by arranging the first air inlet 21 and the second air inlet 13 at different sides, different air intake directions of the air purifier are increased, thereby enhancing the air intake efficiency and hair collection efficiency of the air purifier. In addition, both the air guide portion 15 and the second guide bottom wall 14 are obliquely arranged at the top and the bottom of the second air intake channel 16, forming inclined the second air intake channel 16 configured to extend from wide to narrow along the air intake direction S2, thereby causing the cross-sectional area of the second air intake channel 16 to decrease gradually. Compared with the conventional design in traditional air purifiers where the air inlet is parallel to the ground, the second air intake channel 16 of the present embodiment accelerates the airflow speed, creates higher negative pressure at the second air inlet 13, and thereby further enhances air intake efficiency of the air purifier as well as its capability to adsorb hair and other debris. Additionally, the present embodiment optimizes distribution of intake airflow of the air purifier. The inclined structural design of the air guide portion 15 and the second guide bottom wall 14 allows external air to be drawn into the hair collection chamber 20 in an orderly and smooth flow pattern, preventing a formation of turbulent airflow at the second air inlet 13 which would lead to wind resistance and noise emissions, and thus enhancing a quiet operation and stable performance of the air purifier.
