BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to the technical field of outdoor-specific water heaters, in particular to a water heater pipe quick-connect structure.

Description of Related Art

An outdoor gas water heater is a water heater that has a structure and principle highly similar to those of a domestic gas water heater, and is generally based on the domestic gas water heater with an addition of a wall-mounted structure, enabling the gas water heater to be hung outdoors for use.

Before using the outdoor gas water heater, a user needs to assemble the outdoor gas water heater by himself. When connecting a pipe of an existing outdoor gas water heater, it is necessary to use tools such as a wrench and a screwdriver to lock a gas fitting and water inlet and outlet fittings, resulting in low mounting efficiency. Further, the existing gas fitting and water inlet and outlet fittings are positioned downward, and thus the user cannot directly observe pipe fittings when connecting the pipe, which makes mounting inconvenient.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the above problems, the present invention provides a water heater pipe quick-connect structure, which aims to solve a problem that the fittings of the existing outdoor gas water heater have no quick-connect function and a fitting direction is not conducive to observation.

To solve the above technical problems, technical solutions of the present invention are as follows.

A water heater pipe quick-connect structure including:

    • a case that at least includes a heat exchanger unit and a burner unit therein;

an L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting that is mounted at the bottom end of the case and includes an input end connected to a water outlet end of the heat exchanger unit, in which

an input end of the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting, an input end of the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting, and an output end of the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting are all oriented toward a front of the case.

In some embodiments, the bottom end of the case is a detachable base plate, the air inlet end of the burner unit and the water inlet end and water outlet end of the heat exchanger unit are each provided with a non-detachable first connection member at their respective terminals, and are respectively and detachably mounted on an upper surface of the base plate through the first connection member, and the input end of the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting, the input end of the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting, and the output end of the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting are each provided with a non-detachable second connection member, and are respectively mounted on a lower surface of the base plate through the second connection member, and then fixed to the corresponding first connection member.

In some embodiments, the first connection member is a Belleville washer welded to the respective terminals of the air inlet end of the burner unit and the water inlet end and water outlet end of the heat exchanger unit, and the Belleville washer is provided with first mounting holes on both sides thereof.

In some embodiments, the second connection member is a Belleville washer welded to respective middle portions of outer walls of the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting, the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting, and the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting, and the Belleville washer is provided with second mounting holes matching the first mounting holes on both sides thereof.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

To make an object, technical solutions, and advantages of the present invention clearer and more specific, the content of the present invention will be further described in detail in combination with the drawings and embodiment. It is understood that the embodiment described here is merely used to describe the present invention, not to limit the present invention. It should be noted that, for the convenience of description, only parts related to the present invention are shown in the drawings, rather than all of the content.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a water heater pipe quick-connect structure according to the present embodiment includes:

    • a case 1 that at least includes a heat exchanger unit 2 and a burner unit 3 therein;
    • an L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting 4 that is mounted at a bottom end of the case 1 and includes an output end connected to an air inlet end of the burner unit 3;
    • an L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting 5 that is mounted at the bottom end of the case 1 and includes an output end connected to a water inlet end of the heat exchanger unit 2; and
    • an L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting 6 that is mounted at the bottom end of the case 1 and includes an input end connected to a water outlet end of the heat exchanger unit 2.

An input end of the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting 4, an input end of the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting 5, and an output end of the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting 6 are all oriented toward a front of the case 1. The β€œfront” mentioned here refers to a front of a panel of the case 1.

In the present embodiment, by providing the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting 4, the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting 5, and the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting 6, which are all oriented forward, at the bottom end of the case 1, under a premise that fitting ports are visible, a user can quickly and respectively connect the quick-connect ports, which match terminals of a water pipe and a gas pipe, to the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting 4, the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting 5, and the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting 6 described above, and a mounting process is simple.

In one example, the bottom end of the case 1 is a detachable base plate 101, the air inlet end of the burner unit 3 and the water inlet end and water outlet end of the heat exchanger unit 2 are all provided with a non-detachable first connection member 7 at their respective terminals, and are respectively and detachably mounted on an upper surface of the base plate 101 through the first connection member 7, and the input end of the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting 4, the input end of the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting 5, and the output end of the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting 6 are each provided with a non-detachable second connection member 8, and are respectively mounted on a lower surface of the base plate 101 through the second connection member 8, and then fixed to the corresponding first connection member 7. Through a fixing relation between the first connection member 7 and the second connection member 8, the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting 4, the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting 5, and the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting 6 are fixed to a lower end of the base plate 101, and conditions for replacement are reserved.

Optionally, the first connection member 7 is a Belleville washer welded to the respective terminals of the air inlet end of the burner unit 3 and the water inlet end and water outlet end of the heat exchanger unit 2, and the Belleville washer is provided with first mounting holes on both sides thereof. The second connection member 8 is a Belleville washer welded to respective middle portions of outer walls of the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting 4, the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting 5, and the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting 6, and the Belleville washer is provided with second mounting holes matching the first mounting holes on both sides thereof. When the user needs to replace any fitting, a fastener can be removed from between the first connection member 7 and the second connection member 8, a new fitting can be remounted to the corresponding position, and the fastener can be mounted.

To further improve mounting accuracy of the user, in another optional solution, the L-shaped quick-connect gas fitting 4, the L-shaped quick-connect water inlet fitting 5, and the L-shaped quick-connect water outlet fitting 6 described above are connection ports having different diameters. By setting the connection ports to different diameters, it is convenient for the user to observe, and only a water pipe connection port and a gas pipe connection port having corresponding sizes can be successfully mounted, which is a fool-proof design that prevents the user from mismatching the water pipe connection port and gas pipe connection port.

The above embodiment merely describes the technical concept and characteristics of the present invention, and is intended to enable those skilled in the art to understand the content of the present invention and implement the same, and not to limit the protection scope of the present invention. All equivalent changes or modifications made according to the substance of the content of the present invention should be included in the protection scope of the present invention.
