USE OF TOKEN SWITCH TO INDICATE UNAUTHORIZED MANIPULATION OF A PROTECTED DEVICE
An apparatus to indicate unauthorized manipulation of at least one protected device enclosed in a housing is provided. The apparatus includes a structure attached to a first portion of the housing and a token switch attached to a second portion of the housing. The token switch is operably positioned with reference to the structure. The token switch includes a plunger, and a register programmed with a value. The register is communicatively coupled with a processor in a circuit. The circuit is communicatively coupled to drive the device. The structure, the token switch, and the circuit are internal to the housing when the housing is in a closed position. The plunger and the structure are positioned to generate a current when the housing is opened. The programmed value in the register is changed by the generated current and the processor takes an action responsive to the change in the programmed value.

Reactive site deactivation against vapor deposition
Methods and structures relating to the formation of mixed SAMs for preventing undesirable growth or nucleation on exposed surfaces inside a reactor are described. A mixed SAM can be formed on surfaces for which nucleation is not desired by introducing a first SAM precursor having molecules of a first length and a second SAM precursor having molecules of a second length shorter than the first. Examples of exposed surfaces for which a mixed SAM can be provided over include reactor surfaces and select surfaces of integrated circuit structures, such as insulator and dielectric layers.

Herbicide resistance genes
The subject invention provides novel plants that are not only resistant to 2,4-D, but also to pyridyloxyacetate herbicides. Heretofore, there was no expectation or suggestion that a plant with both of these advantageous properties could be produced by the introduction of a single gene. The subject invention also includes plants that produce one or more enzymes of the subject invention “stacked” together with one or more other herbicide resistance genes. The subject invention enables novel combinations of herbicides to be used in new ways. Furthermore, the subject invention provides novel methods of preventing the development of, and controlling, strains of weeds that are resistant to one or more herbicides such as glyphosate. The preferred enzyme and gene for use according to the subject invention are referred to herein as AAD-12 (AryloxyAlkanoate Dioxygenase). This highly novel discovery is the basis of significant herbicide tolerant crop trait and selectable marker opportunities.

REAL-TIME TYPING ASSISTANCE
An apparatus and method are disclosed for providing feedback and guidance to touch screen device users to improve the text entry user experience and performance through the use of indicators such as feedback semaphores. Also disclosed are suggestion candidates, which allow a user to quickly select next words to add to text input data, or replacement words for words that have been designated as incorrect. According to one embodiment, a method comprises receiving text input data, providing an indicator for possible correction of the text input data, displaying suggestion candidates associated with alternative words for the data, receiving a single touch screen input selecting one of the suggestion candidates, and modifying the input data using the word associated with the selected suggestion candidate.
