Electronic cigarette with liquid reservoir

An electronic cigarette including an elongated housing that has a mouthpiece with an aerosol outlet, and an atomizer disposed within an atomizing chamber. The atomizer selectively generates an aerosol of the liquid in response to suction pressure at the aerosol outlet. The atomizing chamber has an air inlet, an atomizer outlet coupled to the aerosol outlet, and a first wick aperture. A liquid reservoir is disposed within the elongated housing, which is sealably separated from the atomizing chamber. A wick disposed through the first wick aperture between the liquid reservoir and the atomizing chamber and it is configured to transfer the liquid by capillarity from the liquid reservoir to the atomizer.

Gate structure for semiconductor device

A semiconductor device and method of fabricating thereof is described that includes a substrate having a fin with a top surface and a first and second lateral sidewall. A hard mask layer may be formed on the top surface of the fin (e.g., providing a dual-gate device). A gate dielectric layer and work function metal layer are formed on the first and second lateral sidewalls of the fin. A silicide layer is formed on the work function metal layer on the first and the second lateral sidewalls of the fin. The silicide layer may be a fully-silicided layer and may provide a stress to the channel region of the device disposed in the fin.

Susceptor heater shim

A substrate supporting assembly in a reaction space includes a heater, a substrate support member, and a shim positioned between the heater and the substrate support member. The shim may be removably secured between the heater and the substrate support member. The shim may further include an inner surface defining a perimeter of a gap. The gap may be further defined by a bottom surface of the substrate support member and a top surface of the heater. The substrate support member may further include a shoulder positioned radially outside of a substrate support position and wherein the shim inner surface is radially aligned with the substrate support member shoulder.

Artificial intelligence valet systems and methods

Various examples are described for an artificial intelligence valet system. In one example, among others, a distributed information sharing system can obtain route information associated with a geographic area and provide the route information to a user vehicle in response to a request. In another example, an autonomous user vehicle can receive a request to autonomously proceed to a user defined location; obtain route information; and determine a route to the user defined location using the route information. In another example, a collision avoidance system can determine if an object is in a path of travel of a vehicle based at least in part upon sensory data and maneuver the vehicle based at least in part upon an object determination. In another example, an accident reporting system can determine an occurrence of a violation of a vehicle; obtain recordings of the environment surrounding the vehicle; and report the violation.

Single, logical, multi-tier application blueprint used for deployment and management of multiple physical applications in a cloud environment

A deployment system enables a developer to define a logical, multi-tier application blueprint that can be used to create and manage (e.g., redeploy, upgrade, backup, patch) multiple applications in a cloud infrastructure. In the application blueprint, the developer models an overall application architecture, or topology, that includes individual and clustered nodes (e.g., VMs), logical templates, cloud providers, deployment environments, software services, application-specific code, properties, and dependencies between top-tier and second-tier components. The application can be deployed according to the application blueprint, which means any needed VMs are provisioned from the cloud infrastructure, and application components and software services are installed.

EVENT APPLICATION

A system, method, and article of manufacture provide the ability to manage event-based information/content. A client application uploads information about an event to an event application executing on a server. The event application manages information for an event site that corresponds to an event that multiple persons attend and is an electronic representation of the event. The event application receives the uploaded information and manages client access to the uploaded information.
