Privacy firewall
Embodiments of the invention relate to systems and methods for providing an anonymization engine. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method comprising receiving a message directed at a recipient computer located outside a secure area by a privacy computer located within a secure area. The privacy computer may identify private information using a plurality of privacy rules and anonymize the message according to the plurality of privacy rules. Another embodiment may be directed to a method comprising receiving a request for sensitive data from a requesting computer. An anonymization computer may determine a sensitive data record associated with the request and may anonymize the sensitive data record by performing at least two of: removing unnecessary sensitive data entries from the sensitive data record, masking the sensitive data entries to maintain format, separating the sensitive data entries into associated data groupings, and de-contexting the data.

METHOD OF AUGMENTED MAKEOVER WITH 3D FACE MODELING AND LANDMARK ALIGNMENT
Generation of a personalized 3D morphable model of a user's face may be performed first by capturing a 2D image of a scene by a camera. Next, the user's face may be detected in the 2D image and 2D landmark points of the user's face may be detected in the 2D image. Each of the detected 2D landmark points may be registered to a generic 3D face model. Personalized facial components may be generated in real time to represent the user's face mapped to the generic 3D face model to form the personalized 3D morphable model. The personalized 3D morphable model may be displayed to the user. This process may be repeated in real time for a live video sequence of 2D images from the camera.

Synchronous local and cross-site failover in clustered storage systems
Synchronous local and cross-site switchover and switchback operations of a node in a disaster recovery (DR) group are described. In one embodiment, during switchover, a takeover node receives a failover request and responsively identifies a first partner node in a first cluster and a second partner node in a second cluster. The first partner node and the takeover node form a first high-availability (HA) group and the second partner node and a third partner node in the second cluster form a second HA group. The first and second HA groups form the DR group and share a storage fabric. The takeover node synchronously restores client access requests associated with a failed partner node at the takeover node.

Current-limiting battery usage within a corded electronic device
This disclosure describes techniques for operating a corded electronic device in which a battery and a power control unit manage power draw from an external power source electrically coupled to the corded electronic device using a physical cord, such as a universal serial bus (USB) cable. The power control unit automatically supplements an electrical current continuously drawn by the corded electronic device from the external power source with an electrical current from the battery, when needed. Moreover, the power control unit operates to limit the current drawn from the external power source and the physical cord so as to ensure the current does not exceed any limitations or requirements associated with the external power source or the physical cord.
