Method for controlling flow in a bodily organ

There is provided a method for controlling a flow of fluid and/or other bodily matter in a lumen formed by a tissue wall of a patient's organ. The method comprises gently constricting (i.e., without substantially hampering the blood circulation in the tissue wall) at least one portion of the tissue wall to influence the flow in the lumen, and stimulating the constricted wall portion to cause contraction of the wall portion to further influence the flow in the lumen. The method can be used for restricting or stopping the flow in the lumen, or for actively moving the fluid in the lumen, with a low risk of injuring the organ. Such an organ may be the esophagus, stomach, intestines, urine bladder, urethra, ureter, renal pelvis, aorta, corpus cavernosum, exit veins of erectile tissue, uterine tube, vas deferens or bile duct, or a blood vessel.

ASSESSING SECURITY RISKS OF USERS IN A COMPUTING NETWORK

Various embodiments assess security risks of users in computing networks. In one embodiment, a set of input data is obtained. The set of input data comprises at least one of security item interaction data, training interaction data, and technical information for each of a set of users in a plurality of users associated with an entity. The security item interaction data comprises at least one action performed by each of the set of users with respect to at least one computing network-based security item presented to each of the set of users. The set of input data to is compared to a plurality of security risk scoring metrics. Based on this comparison, a security risk score for each of the set of users with respect to a computing network is calculated.

VIRTUAL DATA BACKUP

Techniques are disclosed for providing content data storage services to a remote device over the internet to enable access of the remote device in the cloud. A content data storage device receives data indicative of a subscription to content data storage services from a remote device. The content data storage device provisions cloud storage to provide the content data storage services subscribed to by the remote device. Data associated with the remote device is replicated to the provisioned cloud storage to provide a replicated device in the cloud. Data indicative of a request to use the replicated device in the cloud is received. The content data storage device executes the replicated device in the cloud, thereby providing access of the remote device in the cloud for the remote device.

Method for line density multiplication using block copolymers and sequential infiltration synthesis

Block copolymers (BCPs) and synthetic infiltration synthesis (SIS) are used to double the line density on a substrate. The BCP comprises first and second interconnected BCP components with a functional group at the junction or interface of the components. After deposition of the BCP on the substrate and annealing, a pattern of parallel stripes of first and second BCP components is formed with a pattern of functional group interfaces between the components. Each of the BCP components is non-reactive with atomic layer deposition (ALD) precursors, while the functional group is reactive with the ALD precursors. The ALD results in the infiltration of inorganic material into the interfaces where the reactive functional groups are located but without affecting the BCP components. After removal of the organic material, a pattern of parallel lines of inorganic material remains with a pitch half that of the stripes of BCP components.
