Motor-driven surgical instrument
In various embodiments, a surgical instrument system comprising an end effector, an elongate shaft, a motor-powered closure member, and a motor-powered firing system is disclosed. The end effector comprises an anvil and a cartridge channel. The cartridge channel is configured to receive a staple cartridge. The motor-powered closure member is moveable between a first position and a second position during a closure stroke. The motor-powered closure member couples the anvil and the channel during the closure stroke. The motor-powered firing system comprises a first flange configured to engage the anvil during a firing stroke, a second flange configured to engage the cartridge channel during the firing stroke, and a rotatable drive screw operable to transmit the firing stroke. The first and second flanges couple the anvil and the channel during the firing stroke. The motor-powered closure member and the motor-powered firing system are separately actuatable.

Stapling assembly
A stapling assembly comprising an end effector is disclosed. The end effector comprises a cartridge channel and an anvil, wherein the anvil is pivotably connected to the cartridge channel and is movable relative to the cartridge channel between an open position and a closed position. The end effector comprises a replaceable staple cartridge positionable within the cartridge channel and a drive screw. The end effector also comprises a firing member comprising a knife, a first cam member configured to engage the cartridge channel, a second cam member configured to engage the anvil, and a bearing. The bearing is supported by the drive screw and extends distally relative to the first cam member and the second cam member. The drive screw is configured to drive the firing member distally during a firing stroke and extends through the cartridge channel.

Pneumonia screener
A device for obtaining physiological information including plethysmographs of a medical patient and detecting a condition of pneumonia. The portable pneumonia screening device may include one or more sensors configured to obtain physiological information. The pneumonia screener may provide for methods of selecting and interfaces to assist selecting a patient's age group. The screener may match a selected age group from a set of programmed threshold level of oxygen saturation, respiratory, pulse rate, or other physiological parameters to assist pneumonia diagnosis. The pneumonia screener may provide one or more visual and/or audio stimuli, such as an animation, sound or music. The visual and/or audio stimuli may indicate initialization, diagnostic in progress, completion, or other events or progress of events. In some embodiments, the visual and/or auditory stimuli may be used to soothe or intrigue the patient such that patient agitation is reduced during the screening process.

SHOWER PLATE, PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND EJECTION METHOD
According to an embodiment, a shower plate includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes a first wall provided with a plurality of first openings and internally including a room with which the first openings communicate. The second member includes a second wall provided with a second opening and arranged in the room. The second member is arranged at a position spaced apart from the first member, and allows one of the first openings facing the second opening to be replaced with another of the first openings by changing a position of the second member with respect to the first member.

Intelligent device user interactions
Intelligent assistant devices and methods for interacting with a user are disclosed. In some examples, a method for interacting with a user comprises predicting suggested action(s) for the user and displaying the action(s) via a display of the device. While the suggested action(s) are displayed, audio input comprising a command followed by a keyword is received from the user. The audio input is processed locally on the intelligent assistance device to (1) determine that the keyword follows the command and (2) recognize that the command applies to the suggested action(s). Based on determining that the keyword follows the command and recognizing that the command applies to the suggested action(s), a user selection of the suggested action(s) is established. Based on establishing the user selection, the one or more suggested actions are executed.

REMOTE DEVICE DEPLOYMENT
Methods, systems, and computer program products for configuring internet of things (IoT) devices. In use, a connection between a user device and at least one of a plurality of remote devices is established without allowing any incoming connections to the at least one of the plurality of remote devices. Additionally, a script is executed on the at least one of the plurality of remote devices, and results of executing the script on the at least one of the plurality of remote devices are gathered. Further, at least a portion of the results are sent to the user device.

Automatic assessment of damage and repair costs in vehicles
A system and method are provided for automatically estimating a repair cost for a vehicle. A method includes: receiving, at a server computing device over an electronic network, one or more images of a damaged vehicle from a client computing device; performing image processing operations on each of the one or more images to detect external damage to a first set of parts of the vehicle; inferring internal damage to a second set of parts of the vehicle based on the detected external damage; and, calculating an estimated repair cost for the vehicle based on the detected external damage and inferred internal damage based on accessing a parts database that includes repair and labor costs for each part in the first and second sets of parts.

Variable indication estimator
A variable indication estimator which determines an output value representative of a set of input data. For example, the estimator can reduce input data to estimates of a desired signal, select a time, and determine an output value from the estimates and the time. In one embodiment, the time is selected using one or more adjustable signal confidence parameters determine where along the estimates the output value will be computed. By varying the parameters, the characteristics of the output value are variable. For example, when input signal confidence is low, the parameters are adjusted so that the output value is a smoothed representation of the input signal. When input signal confidence is high, the parameters are adjusted so that the output value has a faster and more accurate response to the input signal.
