Method and apparatus for power savings at a user equipment

A method for a user equipment (UE) apparatus to reduce power consumption in response to an outcome of a signal reception. The outcome can indicate whether or not the UE needs to be active at a next discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. The signal can also provide configurations of parameters for transmissions or receptions during the next DRX cycle and be used by the UE for measurements and to obtain channel state information.

Integrated system for the infixion and retrieval of implants

Described are coordinated apparatus and methods for drug targeting, clearing the lumen, placing implants within the wall of, and stenting, as necessary, any tubular anatomical structure with single luminal entry. Miniature balls, or miniballs, are introduced into the wall aeroballistically from within the lumen, or small arcuate bands called stays inserted through the outer tunic by means of a hand tool. When miniballs must be placed too closely together to be controlled by hand, a positional control system assists in discharge. Implantation within or proximal to diseased tissue targeting, and thus concentrating the medication in that tissue, miniballs and stays can be used to deliver and controllably release multiple drugs, a radionuclide, or an open or closed loop smart-pill, for example. A glossary of terms follows the specification. Balance of abstract appended to the section entitled Summary of the Invention.

Trigger word detection with multiple digital assistants

Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for selecting a digital assistant from among multiple digital assistants. An embodiment operates by receiving a voice input containing a trigger word at a first voice adapter associated with a digital assistant that generates a first confidence score for the trigger word. The embodiment further receives the voice input at a second voice adapter that generates a second confidence score for the trigger word. The embodiment determines the first confidence score is higher than the second confidence score. The embodiment selects the digital assistant based on the determining.
