Patient monitoring device with improved user interface
A patient monitor for monitoring a patient's orientation to reduce a risk of the patient developing a pressure ulcer can include one or more hardware processors that can receive and process data from a sensor to determine the patient's orientation. The one or more hardware processors can maintain a plurality of timers associated with available orientations of the patient. Each of the plurality of timers can account for a non-consecutive duration said patient is in an associated available orientation. The non-consecutive duration can vary depending on whether a patient is in the available orientation. The patient monitor can include a structured display including an orientation trend and a patient representation illustrating a current orientation of the patient. The orientation trend can include a heat map that graphically illustrates said non-consecutive durations of the patient in the available orientations and/or an orientation graph that displays the patient' orientation history.

Low noise oximetry cable
The present disclosure includes a cable for a patient monitoring system. The cable can have a flexible and durable overall construction that enables the cable to withstand repeated winding and unwinding and prevent kinks from developing. The cable may include multiple bundles encased in inner jackets that reduce the amount of friction against other cable elements and allows the bundle to move more freely inside an outer jacket of the cable. The multiple bundles may include multiple wires or cords. The cable can include a flexible core that runs through the middle of the cable. The multiple bundles can be twisted, weaved, or untwisted around the core.

Medical systems and methods
A medical system is disclosed. The medical system can include a patient monitoring device, a patient information system, and a mobile application. The patient monitoring device can be coupled to a patient to monitor one or more physiological parameters. The patient information system can allow the patient to communicate with a clinician. The patient information system can also provide information regarding schedules, medications, and procedures to the patient. The mobile application can be communicatively coupled with the patient monitoring device and the patient information system. The mobile application can allow a clinician to receive, view, and send information to or from the patient monitoring device and the patient information system.

Patient connector assembly with vertical detents
The present disclosure includes a connector assembly that is a part of a sensor assembly for collecting patient physiological data. The connector assembly can include a first connector tab with catches, a second connector tab with openings, a retainer with pins, and a circuit board coupled to a cable. Each of the pins of the retainer can include a detent that can engage one of the catches of the first connector tab. The pins can extend through the openings of the second connector tab so that the retainer is coupled to the first connector tab by the detents engaging the catches. The first and second connector tabs can thereby be coupled together to support the circuit board and the cable between the first and second connector tabs.

STRETCH BAND WITH INDICATORS OR LIMITERS
A band configured to apply a force to a physiological sensor on a portion of a user's body can include an elastic segment, a first indicator, and a second indicator. The elastic segment can have a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and a first portion of the elastic segment can be secured to a second portion of the elastic segment to form a closed loop that can at least partially secure the physiological sensor to the portion of the user's body when in use. The first and second indicators can be spaced apart from one another and positioned along the elastic segment. The first indicator can be positioned closer to the first end than the second indicator. A relative distance between the first and second indicators can provide an indication of a desired stretch of the elastic segment.

Method of forming conformal silicon carbide film by cyclic CVD
A method of forming, on a substrate having a recess pattern, a silicon carbide film having a reflective index of 2.3 or higher as measured at 633 nm, includes (i) supplying an organosilane precursor in a pulse to a reaction space where the substrate is placed, which precursor has a formula of RSiH3 wherein R is a hydrocarbon-containing moiety including at least one unsaturated bond; (ii) continuously supplying a plasma-generating gas to the reaction space, which plasma-generating gas is selected from the group consisting of inert gases and hydride gases; (iii) continuously applying RF power to the reaction space to generate a plasma which excites the precursor; and (iv) repeating steps (i) through (iii), thereby forming a silicon carbide film on the substrate, which silicon carbide film has a reflective index of 2.3 or higher as measured at 633 nm.

Semiconductor devices and systems with channel openings or pillars extending through a tier stack, and methods of formation
Device, systems, and structures include a stack of vertically-alternating tiers of materials arranged in one or more decks of tiers. A channel opening, in which a channel pillar may be formed, extends through the stack. The pillar includes a “shoulder portion” extending laterally into an “undercut portion” of the channel opening, which undercut portion is defined along at least a lower tier of at least one of the decks of the stack.
