Description

BACKGROUND

In a baseball game there is a frequent occurrence of broken bats flying into the direction of the Infield and spectator sections in the ball park. I believe this bat would diminish that potential.

The bat will be made from wood that was the very center part of the tree, where the growth rings on the end is visible from the first outward.

In the process of manufacturing the bat, the lath center will be placed dead center of the growth rings. This being done there will be no grain visible running the length of or at an angle to the length of the bat

Richard J. Filion do swear that I believe that I am the original and first inventor of This manner of manufacture of a baseball bat as described in Application # 61/343,046 for a Heart Wood baseball bat/I have never seen any information regarding this type of Manufacturing of a baseball bat.

Claims

1. This should therefore not place any stress to a natural weakness n the grain of the wood and therefore reducing the chances of fracturing the bat during its use in a baseball game.
